Best curry house in Newport. Maybe the best in Wales! 3 Mughals consistently smashes it for us, be it takeaway or eating in. Staff are so friendly and attentive. And the food is delicious.

Came for a valentine meal with my partner, had amazing service as always. Taz was incredible, made sure everything was good!

Visited for Valentine's Day. Great value set menu offered and they had heart balloons on the tables, a lovely touch. Our severs were all friendly, well spoken and still very efficient. Taz was especially friendly with a very infectious smile. Shortly after sitting we had poppadoms and a chutney tray served and drinks order taken. After drinks were served our order was swiftly taken. Meal: The meal was exquisite. The best curry I have ever had. I had a lamb sagg and the flavour was rich and vibrant, the lamb was falling apart and again, full of flavour. Same can be said for my husbands butter chicken, the onion bhajis, the keema nann and the keema rice. All beautifully cooked, seasoned and all served hot. Service was especially impressive as it was a busy night and they very quick but at no point did we feel rushed in anyway and the food didn't suffer. ✨ 10/10 all round! ✨

This restaurant is one of our favourites, find ourselves coming back again and again. The food was incredible and customer service is always exceptional here. We had to get doggy bags for what we couldn’t eat and look forward to finishing them up when we’re not so full😂highly recommend to anyone who hasnt been before.

Last night was a disappointment. As always the staff are friendly and attentive but the meal was not up to the usual high standard. The poppadoms were reminiscent of crisps a month past their use-by date, not crispy and slightly soft. My biryani was too moist, and sadly lacking in the light, fluffy separated rice grains that characterise this dish. Maybe it was an off-night and I offer these comments because my previous visits to this restaurant have been very enjoyable.

Booked a table for our first date night in a long long time. Staff were attentive and food was lovely but as we were coming to the end of our meal we had so many different waiters coming over to see if we'd finished. We felt we'd overstyed, despite the fact we were still eating. Then when we asked for the bill, the waiter came back to tell us that the Manager had asked for us to go to the bar and pay our bill and not return to the table. We were ushered out before you could blink. Rushed and disregarded. Not quite the date night we expected

Poppadoms arrived at 8:30pm started arrived at 9:30pm. Menu arrived at 9pm. Lamb dry. When questioned, told that we should have ordered the ‘special/good meat’ not the tikka. No where on the menu was this specified or communicated prior to order. Service of drinks, fast. To get you inebriated more than likely so you wouldn’t complain about service. Also to endure the chewathon. Wasn’t the worst restaurant experience but would advise caution. Note. Other guest sleeping at table.

Takeaway was cold very bland and 50% oil and 50% curry. Real shame

Ordered food starters and main course waiter came back to check order as he had lost part of it on tablet. Starters came fairly quickly but main course came 45 minutes later and only part of order was correct asked for lamb but got chicken instead, my friends don't eat chicken there was things we didn't ask for. Lamb tikka masala we ordered was extremely tough and rubbery to eat. Very disappointed as previous visit was excellent.

I ordered food to the wrong adress and they helped me reorganise the food devilry although they really didn't have to. The food was amazing, genuinely had to be pulled away from the table to stop eating. I really reccomend the crab starter.

Birthday meal with the family, we were served by Taz very friendly service. I had onion bahji which was very crispy. For mains I had chicken balti one of the best Balti I’ve had chicken tikka corn in a balti sauce also comes with a naan I changed mine to garlic, no extra charge! Taz asked the occasion I mentioned it was my birthday and got a complementary drink Amazing service and food

Waited 2 hours. Received no food and a few drinks. Waited until after an hour and a half to tell us they couldn’t even make our food and had to reorder. It was coming out “in a minute” for an hour. First time going here and i don’t recommend

Some 6 years ago we went to the Three Moguls for dinner It was not good and hence our reluctance to revisit although we live locally!! However this evening we booked for a 6.30 dinner and found it was very busy on arrival even at that early time! We were Taken directly to a table for two and shown the menue. The service thereafter was exceptional and dare I say a blue print for other restaurants to follow We ordered two different beef Chef Specials after our starter Waw Waw what a taste and flavour Definitely the best Indian meal we have eaten for a very long time! Again super service throughout although the restaurant was by now full A special mention to Raj Will definitely recommend and return after this superb evening. Diolch yn fawr iawn

Ordered a takeaway this evening, lamb was over cooked and chewy, chicken pakoras had raw batter and the popodoms were burnt. Not a great meal and was over 25mins late

I recently had an outstanding dining experience at The Three Mughals, From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who were more than happy to recommend dishes and ensure our needs were met throughout the meal. The food was the true star of the evening. Each dish was expertly prepared, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The attention to detail and the use of fresh ingredients were evident in every bite. One dish that particularly stood out was the Chicken Shashlic Bagar – it was perfectly spiced. The naan bread was freshly baked and the perfect accompaniment to the meal. The variety on the menu is impressive, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. The ambiance of The Three Mughals added to the overall experience. It was a perfect blend of modern and traditional decor, creating a cozy yet elegant setting for our meal. Overall, The Three Mughals provided an exceptional dining experience. My Wife and myself went to the Three Mugals for my birthday 24/05/24 we were greeted by Taz and his team. We were shown to our table Taz and his team were excellent we had a wonderful time and the food was exceptional. Excellent Service a free Drink of my choice cannot thank Taz and his team enough to. Will be visiting again soon

The food was delicious and I had the Lamb Balti, the lamb was nice and tender. The service was lovely our waiter Taz and his team was friendly and talkative. I recommend coming here.

6 of us went for a family birthday,made to feel welcome from the minute we walked in.all staff friendly,can't do enough for you,in particular taz. Food was excellent,starters and main. Would definitely go back again

The staff here are lovely and the food is genuinely excellent. My only complaint would be with two mains, two rices, two sides and a naan, the table is too small for two people and the staff could have helped by taking some dishes away. Not rushed at all though and would still go back for food.

We made a last-minute booking, and they got us in with no fuss or problems. The table was well situated, the service and prices were excellent too. My partners food was so tasty. Mine was a little too salty. We've had food there many times before, so this was probably just one of those things. We will be back soon.

Delicious food and great atmosphere. Taz and Raj made myself and 7 friends feel very welcome and looked after us very well when we visited. The resturant is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Food selection outstanding. We were treated like princess always making sure we had enough to drink. Food was served quickly and simply delicious. We will be back.

An exceptional restaurant with a fabulous tasty menu that the team here are so proud of preparing, cooking and serving to their customers. Taz and Jahed served me this time on my third visit back and never fail with their service. When choosing your dish they are so knowledgeable to the menu and can guide you to your tastebuds. All I can say is Phenomenal!! I even forgot my reciet and when I rang back up they said give me a couple of hours as we are busy and I shall WhatsApp it to you. 2 hrs later ping my reciet. One thing you may want to do is book as it is pot luck just to walk in unless you in early doors. It gets very busy by 7pm (this is on a Tuesday and a Wednesday when I have been).

Visited here for a catch up with friends. Booked a table online, which was easy and were seated quickly on arrival. Very friendly and welcoming staff (Taz and his team) Great choice on the menu. Ordered food and drinks and both arrived promptly. Food was delicious and good portion sizes, lovely and fresh and nice and hot. Taz was extremely helpful and very nice to talk to, he couldn't do enough for us. Overall great visit and highly recommend.

Mixed feelings, booked a table for two at a quieter time in the evening, instead of ordering a main meal,we ordered a selection of starters instead, with drinks, it was clear their attitude towards us changed. And when asked for a takeaway tray for my remaining food, the waiter ignored me and walked off to serve someone else, I then asked the female waitress, who accommodated me. when it came to paying the bill, he asked the server was this all we had ,after that they didnt even acknowledge us, they were just plain rude... This restaurant to me was always one of the best for tasty food and great service, but after that unpleasant experience of being made to feel insignificant, it left a bitter taste, Unlikely to return

Lovely food, great service. There were 14 of us for a birthday. It was a bit expensive

We arrived hear at 645 my self and a friend for an evening out the waiter sat us to our table gave us the menu at was back after 2 minutes to take our order . The food was amazing but before we had finished they stayed coming to take our plates 715 we explained we hadn’t finished them he came back with take away trays and said sorry we have a party coming in . So we put our remaining food in takeaway containers and went to pay as there were other costumers waiting by the table . The costumers that were sat next to us we in the up coming party and they were apologising to us ..When paying we explain ed to the manager that we was not ready to leave as we had only been there 30 minutes and his reply was I have a party coming in and I’m running a business and this isn’t a social event ,I was very shocked my this and explained myself and my friend hadn’t seen each other for a year . And we both travelled along way the manager was again very rude and started to shout again there was a lovely lady that was working there and she spoke to the manager and told him that it’s unfair what that he was kicking us out when we hadn’t finished the then told her too shut up . My self and my friend had to wait outside for 50 minutes for my husband to pick us as he was not sheduled to come for us soo soon . This was my fist time in an Indian restaurant as had been looking fwd to it for some time . It spoiled the whole experience for us my friend who suffers from anxiety was very upset at the manager raising his voice to us , it’s such a shame as the food was amazing. Never will I visit again the Manager seems to be a very angry man and speeks to his costumers and staff as what I can only describe as disgusting and hurtful .

Nice restaurant, had a meal off special menu lovely taste. However chicken a bit chewy. Not as good as the last time we visited. Also ladies toilet was damp smelling, so unfortunately wasnst very nice and put me off my meal. Staff really lovely taz and raz really nice guys. And very friendly and other staff all very attentive. Room for improvement.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal tonight the chef Naz is very talented his food is always consistently delicious, we were served by Jahed and Fahim, they we're professional polite and friendly which adds to the enjoyment on the night, the new Manager Tyson has settled in quickly he's professional and hard working and a good addition to the team, on my last review I complimented Himu and Taz For making our last night a really good one, my wife and I would like to thank all of you for looking after us so well and we look forward to our next meal with you. Had a lovely meal here recently. Food was incredible and the wait staff couldn't do enough for us! You know when you have an Indian and the meat is really dry in the curry? This wasn't the case at all here. Also really helpful and knowledgeable with allergens

Excellent meal. Really delicious selection of curries and other items. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Taz. It was my brother's birthday so they were kind enough to give him a birthday bottle of beer. Really recommend!!

We've had a takeaway and we've also visited the restaurant to dine in. The food both times was excellent. Service was also good even though the restaurant was exceptionally busy when we arrived. We will be returning for both dine in and takeaway.

The Rogerstone Community band booked tables here for their annual get-together meal and experienced great food and hospitality. Prices from standard to speciality meals were reasonable, and so was the drinks menu. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, which helped to make the experience very enjoyable

Had to cancel our order after over 90 minutes of waiting! Even though we were told to expect our order within the hour. We live only 5 minutes away. We encountered the very worst customer service and we will not be ordering from The Three Mughals again. This has left me distraught and disappointed because they've ruined what was supposed to be a great evening

Staff were good but the food was slightly disappointing. We both had a king prawn dish and the prawns were overcooked hard and chewy ! The sauce was nice . You expect what would seem fresh prawns but obviously wasn’t .
