The best restaurants serving Indian food in Mid Wales

We were staying in the area and popped in early evening for a meal. The restaurant was busy and had a great atmosphere. Food was excellent and the vegetable Thali was perfect. Service was good too

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food was lovely, and good value. Only criticism would be that the place needs a little bit of tlc but still an enjoyable experience

We arrived early, which is better for older people as we don't like eating late, so 5pm start is ideal. We were made very welcome and the food was delicious. We shall certainly be returning.

Very comprehensive menu, excellent food. All three courses very good, with friendly and efficient service. We ate in and although the ex-public house vibe is strong it does not detract from the quality of the meal. Definitely recommended

Ordered vegetable biryani . It was tasteless and poor quality rice. Full of oil and flavourless.

Absolute rubbish, pre booked a table, they didnt have one when we arrived for my birthday treat, squashed us inbetween loud drunken gangs, horrible experience which spoiled my birthday. Would NOT recommend unless you are on the lash. Absolute disgrace

Wow again! Been in Cardigan 3 years and only found you a while ago. By far the best i have had and believe me I know what is good. Have always had food delivered. Always come before they give a time. Delivery driver is always so good and so friendly. An amazing experience from putting in an order, what a fab chap and so helpful and so happy on phone, no idea who the chef is but please give a massive high 5, hug from me! As said, delivery driver always brilliant. Well.. the food ... outstanding... amazing ...

Visited here on a Saturday evening as a party of five. The service was very slow but the food was of a decent standard. In short, every item we ordered had between 55p and £2 added to their menu price with an additional 10% on top. Unfortunately we didn't realise this until leaving and would've had every right to refuse to pay the prices that weren't advertised. Please see below for the long version of my review... On receiving the bill for the meal we realised the total amount was incorrect (£10 more) and queried this with the waiter. The waiter stated that he had added on 10% and said "this is what we do now" and then walked away. When we were about to pay for the meal, the waiter saw we wanted to pay by card and said it was cash only..this was not made clear on entering the restaurant or when we made our order. We didn't have cash so had to leave the restaurant and walk to the closest cash point 5 minutes down the road. On leaving the restaurant we checked the menu we were given on leaving and realised not only had 10% been added to the bill but all of our dishes had between 55p and £2 added to their menu price. I understand prices have risen for everyone but this seemed like a sneaky tactic and we would've had every right to refuse to pay the additional cost for the meal.

Food was superb and the service was friendly. It was a quiet Thursday night so was a bit flat on the atmosphere, but I'm sure when it's busy it'll be fine. Will definitely be returning for dine in and getting takeaway

We went here 'dining in' a couple of months ago and found the food too sweet. On talking to manager I asked if we came again could they reduce sugar. He said the welsh loved the food sweet but they could reduce sugar for us. So tonight we get a takeaway asking for less sugar in korma and pasanda and it was so sweet it was unbelievable! Will not be ordering there again unfortunately .

Ordered takeaway for 7 people over the Christmas break, various lamb and chicken dishes, all really good and everyone happy. Would recommend and will visit again.
