An unexpected find. We were looking for something to eat on the eve of New year's eve. As we walked by we saw that Fabian s was open and looked lovely inside. The owners greeted us and made us feel very welcome. As it was cold they put a portable heater by the table. We loved the menu, a choice of Indian food, pizza or burgers. Something for everyone. The food was excellent. The curry was amazing, my husband ate the chickpea and spinach curry which he said was the best he'd had. So glad we found this place. So welcoming and fabulous food.

Notable that all the dishes were not too oily, spicy or salty, which can sometimes be the case from Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants.

We visited Zeera during a trip to Brecon on Tuesday 19th November. We pulled up outside the restaurant in our motor home. The street was quite narrow and not suitable for us to park there. We asked the staff where we could park as we were not familiar to the area. A staff member escorted us to the nearest car park in his own car. Returning to Zeera for a meal, we were greeted by the staff. We ordered, Nargis kebab and Mixed Platter starters followed by Saagwala and Chicken Balti mains. Explained that we would like food medium hot as opposed to medium stated on the menu. The food was beautiful and cooked to our preference. The staff were very attentive throughout very professional, courteous and welcoming. Would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant and would definateley visit again if in the area. 5 star food and service.

Worst take away meal we’ve ever had from an Indian. Had a Makhani and a Mowgli. The food was very watery and absolutely tasteless. Even the pineapple ring had no taste. We’ve had this experience there before but decided to give it another try. Most of my husband’s food went in the bin.

We used to use the Palace many years ago and after returning to the area thought we would pay it a visit - sadly a mistake. The evening didn’t start well. We were asked to wait rather than being seated while the staff sent out take aways. When we were seated the room for diners was cold. Guests were eating with coats on…. We ordered a drink and poppadoms and main courses. The main courses arrived nearly an hour after we entered the restaurant. The staff told us they had been prioritising take aways. The lamb dish advertised on the menu was really poor. There were four slithers of lamb and the meat was tough. The Chicken Balti was also not good - the dish was ruined by far too much rough cut onion. When this was pointed out to staff the response was to try and tell us that this is how the dish is served in India - laughable. Please don’t tell brummies how a balti is served India - we invented it…. After making polite observations to the staff they went into a sulk. We won’t be returning.

Sunday night , we travel when we can to here from Tenby only 74 miles , stay at the Wellington Hotel ( see separate review ) This is the best Indian by a long long shot . Food is amazing . This time it was the best Onion Bhagis as starter followed by for Linzi Handi Lamb Slow cooked lamb in an intense aromatic curry of caramelised onions and yoghurt. Flavoured with mace, cardamon & dry-rose petals. Scented with whole garam masala and for me Chicken Dalwala Small pieces of chicken tikka cooked with fried potatoes, pieces of lemon, selected spices and herbs in a thick lentil sauce, medium strength, very nice and tasty, Chapati for me , Linzi had a Peshawari Naan , and we shared two portions of Pilau Rice , now two days on and I am still saying out a loud " god that was a good meal . Already planning a trip back up to Brecon . We like Sunday night as traffic on the roads quiet and the Sunday in the restaurant also apart from a Vegetarian drunk and her partner we had the staff and restaurant to our selves . It's a shame what alcohol and vegetables can do to some one !! Back soon love this place did I mention the big portions. PS I like a restaurant where they welcome you back with a smile and a nod of exceptantance of welcome back mr Tenby .
