We'd really hooped to go here based on TripAdvisor reviews but when we passed the place (a former pub) on our way somewhere else it was *very* closed - to the extent that letters were dropping off the sign.

Ordered a set meal through Wrexham Eats and our whole family was delighted with the food! Amazing flavours so will definitely be ordering again!

I throughly enjoyed this meal, I ordered myself and my 8 kids the chicken tikka masala and it’s fair to say that we were all stuffed afterwards, the chicken was nice and soft and a great classic portion of chips, we also had 12 naan breads to share between us, definitely going back there, congratulations from big john

Best curry house in Newport! Food is perfect every time. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Would highly recommend. Staff are always so polite and friendly. Lovely atmosphere in restaurant too.

Decided on an actual sit down meal here at GI Mowglis after several takeaways from here in the past. A friend & I enjoyed what can only be described as an amazing quality meal with great service. My GI Special Balti was flawless, full of flavour and an amazing portion! Nans the size of serving plates, haven’t seen larger in my years of Indian meals in S Wales. Already planning my next visit next month!

Placed a takeaway order through the website and money was taken from my card, when we went to collect, the restaurant no longer exists.. in its place is a completely different restaurant sign and when looking through the window, was full of cardboard boxes.. it has quite clearly been empty for weeks, if not longer!

Great place to go! Really enjoyed all our food dishes. It was busy too when we went and they still 'found a table' for us without pre booking first. Shah and his team are brilliant. Well worth a visit!

Always great food and excellent service

Lovely place to stop for lunch on a bank holiday Monday… very impressed with service… jacket potato with tuna and a peri peri wrap.. happy days..

The meal was delivered roughly on time but one main meal was missing, I rang to let them know and they asked could we have it next time, I said no as it was my sons main dish, no apology, the dish turned up over an hour after we’d finished our food.

Fabulous Indian restaurant.. small and intimate.. perfect if you want excellent food in a private environment

Very disappointed. An Indian takeaway isn't the cheapest but don't mind paying it if the food is nice. However we found the food bland and the chicken very dry, not impressed at all .

What a welcome surprise! This was our 1st visit to The Cinnamon Tree and we were so pleased. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff was super attentive and gave great advice, and the food was amazing! It was so flavorful without any one component overwhelming the other. We are eager to go back and try another variety of dishes.
