Food was very good, delivered late. Only sent 2 papadams when we ordered 4. Bit annoying as we ordered the chutney tray too.

I order every Saturday from the tamarind and every week I have requested my meat byriani to be vindaloo hot , this is the third week running they have not done this so I rang the restaurant as soon as my order arrived they told me yes they could see my request on the order but they are too busy to rectify this and suggest I ring direct next time ! Not impressed with this as an alternative plus we were told last time it wouldn’t happen again ., need to read orders properly or don’t use just eat

estimated time was missed then updated time was missed by further 25 minutes then rice and curry was like warm and keema naan had hardly any lamb in not worth 4.20

Extremely disappointed, worst experience yet..seriously considering never ordering again..service no where near what it was before I signed up up for Just Eat +..almost 2 hours late,then had to to go find driver,despite spending hundreds of pounds in the last 6 months..restaurant kept me on hold for 10 mins...had to ring again to speak to someone.Food when it finally arrived looked like it had been rammed into the bag...all needed reheating poppadoms were soft..photos taken.Ran out of words...

Marker was used to write on both sides of the cardboard lid which transferred ink on to the curry rendering a portion of it inedible.

Best Tikka Masala I’ve had in a long time !!

ordered with 2 hours notice ,was still 20 mins+ late.Food as always was really tasty apart from Keema Nan which was cold...disappointed.

The food itself is lovely. But over an hour and a half wait, then loads of sauce but hardly any meat in both the Korma and the Masala. Spent over £40 and had to top it up with chips at home to make it stretch.

Bit disappointed with this visit and meal. It was better about a year ago. Definitely gone a bit downhill. Place was nobbling on a Friday evening, and the prices seem to have inflated. The chutney tray well over priced. My dish which was supposed to be a special , had tikka type chicken pieces thrown into the sauce. Not up to a standard I'd had before and which other Indian restaurants have. I'll stick to Rasoi in town. We were both shocked at the bill at the end. It's gone over priced for very basic curries.

Have been coming to this establishment for the past few years now - excellent! To put in context, we travel 30 miles or so to visit and we rate this place as excellent. Excellent service, excellent food and a fantastic friendly environment with lovely staff. I've eaten vegetarian and vegan food all over the UK, particularly Asian produce and I can truly say this is up there with the best, both for quality and price and also authenticity. Would highly recommend.

Delivery time was 30 mins later than latest expected time even though app was saying delivered within expected time provided with just eat. Food was cold to touch when arrived. When called to complain, no help at all. Said to take it up with just eat

Absolutely terrible. 79 pounds with bottle of wine. 5.30.booked table. Garlic chilli chicken. Lamb buana. Chicken biriani. Vegetables curry on side. Every curry dish was same curry sauce. Sludge from day before. Made me ill for 2 days and my partner. Disgusting. Asked what was the Vegetables curry. Replied to us what is your problem. It was frozen Vegetables mix horrible. Please avoid of you want nice food.

Menu looked promising, seating and atmosphere were decent. Coming to food, paneer tikka masala & chicken tikka masala (coloured aggressively red) were sweet as sugar, sorry that's not Indian food. Biriyani came without raita so I ordered it, turned out plain yoghurt with 4 cucumber julienne and nothing else, never realised raita was too difficult to make. Spring rolls had potato filling ( rename it to Spring samosa may be?) The best part of our meal was poppadom and naan. Special mention: my friend was gagging at the end of it.

Amazing food once again and plenty of choices on the menu

I wish it was possible to give more stars to them. We began with popadoms and dips, followed by aloo chat for me and mixed kebab platterIt for my husband. We split a side order of chicken pakkrasas well. It seems that when my husbands dish arrived, it was not the correct one. The staff member who came to our table was amazing. He came to us with the order and menu and checked. Indeed, it was incorrect he asked us to bear with him while he sorted the issue. Within 5 minutes, my husband had the correct dish as well as a new plate of rice. They did not charge us for the incorrect dish and provided us with a new plate of rice as well. When we are in the country, we always visit as we always get good service and tasty food.

We're spoilt for choice here for good Asian food but Tamarind is my favourite

Amazing food, great service. I would recommend the chicken pakora and the garlic chilli chicken, along with the keema rice. Since the restaurant has been under new management the food has improved massively. A cosy interior.

Delivery was meant to be between 7:20-7:40 and it was 7:55 when it got delivered. I’m not too mad because the food was amazing as always but I’m pregnant and was very hungry! Other than that, very happy.

Best Indian I have had for over a decade, had chicken makhani, onion bhaji, coconut rice and Peshawari naan. All absolutely delicious, superb prices and excellent service.

The only issue we had was the chicken tikka masala, unfortunately this was not chicken and looked like lamb or beef, one of our guests does not eat red meat so was unable to eat her meal.

We have been using theTamarind for over 12yrs have never been disappointed in any of their meals. Always friendly staff and management. Always top quality meals. We travel pass at least 3 Indian take aways, traveling a distance for a Tamarind take away, we have that much confidence in them to sell us a take away we will enjoy. In all the years we have been buying their meals they have never let us down, we have enjoyed every meal. Williams.

Having ordered takeaway over the years the food is great but the service is shocking. It’s always over double the time they say to pick up. Once I can maybe understand but not constantly. Wouldn’t recommend for take away.

Food came, missing an item. Rang restaurant, lied and said it was on its way. 45 mins later it showed when the rest was called. Terrible attitude from the restaurant. Shame as it’s usually lovely

Great night out with friends for birthday party. Lovely food there were16 of us. Our food was lovely. I had so much they packed what was left to bring home. Service was very friendly and helpful. Very nice atmosphere would definitely return.

I pre ordered and picked a reasonable time of 7pm for delivery. Called at 8pm to be told it was still in the restaurant. Arrived 20 minutes later but missing a naan bread.

Food was good but not happy with the time we had to wait for it. Over 2 hours is not acceptable especially when I had a hungry child. I think if the restaurant knows there is going to be a delay then notification would be nice. Had I known I would have collected

Delivery was very late. Again....I wouldn't bother ordering from here, it's always a let down. Once it did arrive it was cold to the touch. I managed to catch the driver still outside, they admitted every customer was annoyed so far that evening before giving me tips on how to heat the food up....

Normally the bhajis are the best, but they were a bit soggy this time. Everything else was good as usual
