Tried the Curry Box for the first time this Tuesday & I’ve got to say the food was excellent, the flavours were brilliant & their rices were beautiful & infused with some herbs or diced veg, thanks for an excellent meal will be back again.

40 years of service and still open for business & going strong during this tough period. The 'Curry Box' provides a great meal at a reasonable price. We had Chicken Tikka Masala (half madras) and they did not disappoint... Thank you Mr.C your reputation precedes you!

I’ve gone here several time’s and I really can’t recommend it more. Fantastic food at low prices, plus half price curries on Tuesdays.

Until now never had a complaint, ordered a meal to be delivered just before Christmas and they missed items of the order we had waited for an hour for or food and when it arrived it was luke warm and missing a sause for the curry we had ordered, when we complained, they sent out a hotter meal but still forgot the sause when we complained again the eventual sent the sauce, we have used them for years and spent countless amounts of money,not being very well today thought we would have a curry so rang them and ordered only to be told as we complained about their mistake that they would no longer deliver to us, so the motto of this is don't complain when they overstretch themselves and make mistakes as they black list you

First visit on a Tuesday to discover menu half price(regular Tuesday's) very extensive menu all sorts of curries to choose from, too many side dishes to list. Waiting time for order not too long normal fo freshly cooked food. Two currys plus side dishes £16. great value and good service

Guys have been around for 50 years so can't be bad This is our first visit after a recommendation from a friend. Ordered on a Tuesday which is 2 for 1 on main courses bar king prawn dishes if collecting. Good poppadoms and mint sauce. Curries are brill but watch for cardamom pods. Better curry houses in Pontypool and Cwmbran but not many. First impressions are give it a go. We had Vindaloo and Ceylon.

Have been going here for a few years now, and I can honestly say that I haven't had a bad meal, ever. Always polite service, would and have recommended the Curry Box for a value for money meal. Love the patia, yum yum.

Oredered a meat madrass with boiled rice and it was quite spicey! Just how I like it! Excellent service as well.

As the saying goes... ' we have tried the rest but sticking with the best' .. Yes, thats the Curry Box... it certainly is the best... Always so very polite when taking the order whether by phone or in store... The meal is always hot and so very very tasty... Nothing is too much for them if you want to make the curry thicker or maybe thinner, more or fewer chillies.,.. Tuesdays are the best as you get the currys half price... great for freezing and having another day... Really value for money... Never had a bad curry from them... The Curry Box is the most amazing take-away.

We always get our curries from here & it never fails to be exceptional. The whole service tgey provide from the guy takibg the phone order to the guys deliverinv. They are polite friendly & always on time. Hreat service Grwat curry

La comida estaba aún caliente cuando llegas a casa 2 milla de distancia, arroz de hongos tenía shrooms, patatas fritas eran como propio hogar cultivado patatas fritas, era una delicia Rogan de pollo, mucho mucho pollo, un delicioso curry apropiada. Mucho espacio para dos y una porción de desayuno! Se lo recomendaría a todo el mundo. No es la primera ordenada curry de bang desde allí y seguro que no será la última!

We order now and again, mainly on a tuesday for the 'half price' offer, never had a bad meal from here and would highly recommend.

Been having an Indian takeaway from the Curry Box for years, always enjoyable and tasty. My wife will only eat the Chicken Tikka Masala form here.

Excelente comida y buen servicio debe decir nunca utilizamos el fuerte de curry pero 100% otra vez!! Fue espléndido gracias a la comida estaba bien hecha que hacía mucho calor en calor, y las porciones era bueno le recomiendo encarecidamente que complementa al chef.

Anteriormente utilizados Curry fuerte hace 20 años y entonces era bueno pero ya que hay muchos otros curry houses a elegir que están más cerca de mi casa que ofrecer. Trabajando en Cardiff, a veces necesitas un buen curry 14 horas después de un turno...

We choose the curry box as the reviews were 4 or 5, Tuesday being half price how could we not be on a winner. Got 3 curries and all were chicken, there was limited amount of chicken in all dishes, still half price but two of the dishes were chicken balti - these were hotter than a madras, for us it was uneatable, rang them, went to the shop for a refund to be told to come back when the boss was there, went back and had a very uncomfortable session to get a refund and being told a balti is hotter than a madras. If the curries were a one off due to extra hot peppers I would not mind but the phone calls and visits to the shop was not dealt with. We do not get many take aways but in future I will want a taste before leaving.

We finally managed to get to the Curry Box on a Tuesday to take advantage of the half price main meals offer.Everything was delicious as ever and even though they were incredibly busy as a lot of orders had been phoned through,the service was polite and efficient.We live in Bristol and visit Wales often,collecting Curry Box food on the way home....but we have actually made a special journey more than once!

We love this takeaway. The staff are super friendly, food is excellent and the Tuesday deal must not be missed.

We ordered a meal for delivery and it arrived bang on time. Delivery charge is quite modest too. Best of all the food is delicious and the portions quite generous. Enough left for breakfast!!

The fact that this restaurant has been serving the local community for 30+ years says it all! This is a well established restaurant serving authentic, tasty indian cuisine at reasonable prices. In fact, if you buy your main dish on a Tuesday it is even better value as it is half price! The staff are friendly and if you ask in advance they will do their best to prepare a meal to your taste. Give it a try!

It is a takeaway, basic shop style but great food.I have been using the curry box for donkey's years, not had a bad meal yet.

The only place in Town to go for a cracking Indian curry. I've been visiting this place on and off since I was a teenager and am struggling to recall a bad meal in all that time. I have tried other Indian takeaways, but always come back to my favourite. Take no notice of the run down look of the premises, the proof is in the pudding as they say!! I've found the current owners to be very friendly and accommodating and are always happy to help with your meal selection. Personal favourites are The "Nargis Kebab", "Onion Bhajees", "Keema Nan Bread" and "Chicken Dhansak".

Had a meal on Tuesday night 2 for 1 on the curry dishes. We have been having take away's from the Curry Box for over 20 years and in all that time we have NEVER had a bad meal. The place is not much to look at but we only go in there for the food not the decor.

Great food and excellent service nicer customer service than the Chinese down that way. The only gripe I have is the place looks runned down but say that never had a bad meal. Oh yes half price curry Tuesdays .

This takeaway has got it all, friendly staff, quality, quantity, has got to be the best in Cwmbran, and I have tried them all, and every Tuesday the curries are half-price if you collect yourself.I am writing this review because this takeaway deserves it.
