The best restaurants serving Indian food in Scotland

Food was extremely disappointing. Garlic on the garlic naan was burnt and inedible. Had to bin half the meal. Wouldn't go back unless there was a major improvement in the food quality.

Absolute bloody joke ordered online different order came as website changed my order , person on the phone which is not the owner basically said I did order that making out that I’m stupid and did order it will never be going back there again ! Absolutely waste off money!

We had the Pre Theatre menu on 23/10/2024, , as 2nd option due to a technical hitch with my itison voucher , the Supervisor was very helpful as we were confused re.the complication, The 2 course meal with fabulous Naan bread was the best we.ve had in Any restaurant, we had visited the restaurant a few years ago , But don.t recall the food being as brilliant as Yesterday "

Ordered food last night, and I changed my mind, and got something else from another restaurant because It took too long to confirm my order, I wanted to cancel my order and got told to phone the restaurant, they told me that nothing came through for them to be able to cancel it, the just eat app kept saying the restaurant would confirm soon and I couldn’t cancel my order to get my money back, I didn’t receive my order last night, but I have just got a know at the door, at one in the afternoon with my order!Really unhappy about this.

Visited for meal last night and found young guy serving me very u welcoming and unresponsive. Normally other members of staff communicate with you. Reluctant to go back

Food is very good and reasonably priced, the owner and (I assume) his son are friendly. The place is unassuming and functional rather than fancy.

The food and service alone was worth all of the 5 stars and more. But more than that, I went to Spice with a small group of friends as a visitor to East Kilbride, following a particularly difficult and emotional funeral service for a very close friend. Dean could not have been more attentive, he completely got the mood and acted with utmost dignity and empathy. Thank you Dean, above and beyond my friend... I will be back.

Food is incredibly good and a unique venue for an Indian. Staff can be a bit too keen to ask how your food is 30 seconds after you’ve got it… Ordered chicken pakora as my starter twice and received veggie pakora. Not the best service, but the veggie pakora is still top notch! Really good Indian, mango lasse and food are super! I’d complain more about the starter being mixed up if the quality wasn’t so good. 4.5 from me - that’s purely a mistake with two orders. Keen, but friendly staff. Top notch food!

Amazing food & service, good portions on the 3 small plates for £12.95. Nan bread was the best I've had.

I ordered a doner wrap but it was inedible. The meat cuts were thick, gristly and had a slightly off taste to it. It was a late night order so I expect the meat wasn’t fresh.
