After being a returning customer week in week out we were overlooked past our starter course for 3 other tables with us arriving for dinner 1st. After 30 minutes & noticing other tables getting main meals before us we questioned this to be told your food is on its away with no apology. The young man who is head waiter by looks of it then stayed away from serving us & told other staff members to deal with us - again no apology or anything ! We had 2 kids as we were a family of 4 - we will Not be treated like this for bigger tables with more money to spend clearly looks like they are looking after there profits before people !

The mixed grill and the lamb rogan Josh are superb!

Regular customer of the Manzil before it changed to the Bombay Cottage. The food on most occasions at the Bombay Cottage has been fairly good if there is less than four people in your party. However, on Sunday 8th my wife and I ordered a tandoori king prawn (five SMALL prawns) and a chicken chasni (again the portion was very small) These were ordered from the Al la Carte menu. Clearly, they are significantly reducing content to maximise profit. So, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. There are plenty of Indian restaurants in Hamilton.

Absolutely fantastic as always 10/10

No Set meals meant everything was individually ordered meaning our meal which is normally £35-£45 was £72.50!!! Absolutely no value for money at all and guess what, no return visit from us. Can't fault the service nor the food though but that's not enough to make us go back.

We came here on Saturday for a meal , this was our first time at this restaurant. The meal we had was very good , but the service was very disappointing. We got our starters quite quickly after ordering . We had to wait over a half hour for our mains . I asked a member of staff about the wait and he didn't seem to bother . There were a few tables that came in after us and got there food long before we got ours . My husband then asked another member of staff the same question , she did apologise and within 10 mins we had our meals . I was not happy with this service infact it was unacceptable. I dont know if I would come back here or to recommend it.

Order arrived completely cold after waiting 2 hours 30 mins. Cost £46 for cold food. Phoned restaurant at one point to complain was told it was leaving in 2 mins but then took another 50 mins to arrive. Shocking!!

I had a tandoori mixed grill with a chilli sauce which was great my wife took ages to find a meal which she enjoyed, it turned out to be the Chicken Tikka Garlic Masala which over the last half dozen times has been great, unfortunately last nights had an overpowering Smokey flavour or burnt I don’t know but we’re now back to square one as she won’t order it again in case it’s the same. Back to Chinese & Pizzas now. Damn🤬

Usually the food I get from the Bombay Kitchen is tremendous but unfortunately tonight our food was cold when delivered

First class, great food, been goin since it changed it's name, getting back to how good it was when it was The Manzil, main problem is parking which can be a nightmare!....

I like the Bombay Kitchen. Food is always decent and does well in the face of a load of competition locally. Can recommend

Paneer garlic masala and naam is really good.

We were a group of 12 and had pre booked our tables for saturday afternoon, and a good job we had, the place was fully booked, there was also people coming in that had ordered takeaways, this didn't affect the quality of the food though, the meal was amazing, we will definitely be back when we can, amazing food, fantastic service and reasonably priced.

Just love the food in this restaurant , service is always spot on , lunchtime menu has everything wee like,if your looking for a nice Indian meal don't miss this place

Went here for lunch a few weekends ago and now my favorite new Indian cuisine restaurant. Although be careful with portions as they are absolutely massive! 😋

tandoori chicken on the bone is the best, plenty for two people, delivery always quick and the quality of the tandoori is the best I've had in Hamilton 👌🏽 would recommend

Nice food, but both times I have ordered from Hamilton hotels the behaviour of the delivery driver is just odd. Despite providing 2 mobile no's they just dump it with hotel reception staff & leave it up to them to find you, 20mins later in this case.

Forgot curry sauce but called up and one was delivered in 10 mins, food was excellent.

I order roughly the same food from here every week , between £25 - £35 , over 4 weeks atleast £100. I’ve never had issues , delivery service always good polite efficient driver’s. First time tonight I called to advise my sauce was missing from my tikka meal. I called & the person on the phone wasn’t very pleasant. He’d no driver to get my sauce to me right away which I said i understand but the meal is no good without the sauce. They said I’ll give you a refund all I wanted was the sauce to go with the meal. He said I’ll refund you for the sauce , then said he’ll send a driver right away to collect my meal so he can process a refund. I asked what do you mean you’ve no driver now you’ve a driver. They sent a driver to collect my meal minus the sauce , apart from the fact the customer service is poor - what are they doing with the meal they’ve took back , giving it to an other customer who’s unaware it’s been doing it’s rounds ? This restaurant don’t need my custom so I won’t be ordering again !

I would not recommend this restaurant if you are planning on attending with young children/ babies or with anyone that is elderly who cannot manage stairs. They do not have an accessible toilet on ground floor level nor do they have any changing areas stations within the toilets to allow for nappy changes. When asked about this I was told they decided to take them away as they did not get used enough and therefore they could not provide me with anywhere to change my child resulting in us having to leave earlier than planned. Not impressed and due to this I will not be back.

Food was excellent , this is now our go to for Indian cuisine but really disappointed with the very late delivery considering it was booked hours in advance, I had to take kids to their clubs and pick them back up at set times so planned the delivery at a set time for a reason, ended up rushing my dinner and never had time to enjoy it . Disappointing this time, but again food is always excellent

I asked for the delivery to be as soon as possible. They estimated an hour (that is not soon). After an hour I had to phone the restaurant to chase it up.

The food is 1st class,always ready to pick up when they give you a time.

Food was honestly outstanding and the seevice was good. Only negative was that I came out and my clothes smelled of ovan which was probably due to the sizzling platters etc but will 100% return.

What an amazing food and the ambience. Plus such a warm welcoming staff. Kudos to the chef and the owner Anil. We were in a complete awestruck moment. I strongly recommend to try this once and am sure you would be a fan too

First time ordering from here and I will definitely be back! I’m really fussy about my Indian takeaway’s and don’t get them very often. Food was of good quality and tasty! Only minor thing, which wasn’t a big issue, was the garlic name was a little on the burnt side underneath.

One of the best Indian restaurants around. Food is always perfection. We had the South Indian with chicken Tikka, boiled rice and naan. Everything was piping hot. Brilliant. Thank you!

Average food and poor service little or no atmosphere starters for 5 persons fish and vegetable pakora onion banji were good but had to ask for small starter plates to be brought to table other members of party’s chicken tikka main meal looked appetising and good value my chicken punjabi masala was bland in an nondescript sauce and 3 out of 5 of the party were disappointed with main meals service was poor don’t want over attentive service but not once asked if meal was ok do we want another drink asked if we had finished when clearly we had not don’t think that Less than 90 minutes in a mostly empty restaurant we had outstayed our non existent welcome at 10 pm on a Saturday night we were brought our bill without asking for it not asked if we wanted coffee or drinks desserts clearly the waiter had something better to do and somewhere better to go …disappointing!

Ordered a takeaway from here tonight. I had the Lamb Garam Massala and it was absolutely delicious. The lamb was tender and the sauce had the perfect texture. Will definitely order from here the next time I’m in the area.

Time to clearly update their website. Said it closed at 10pm Saturday. Arrived at 9.15pm to be told takeaway only. I can see if this was a Monday but a Saturday night seemed very odd.

Ordered ceylonese chicken tikka korma and got standard plain chicken korma! A bit disappointed but I have to say very unusual for this restaurant as food and service is usually very good and I understand mistakes can happen as you are a very popular, busy restaurant.

my husband and I have ordered from here quite a few times. this is an excellent restaurant the food is first class every meal has wonderful flavour its fresh and piping hot which is what we like. portion sizes are excellent great value for money I have recommended this place to other family members, wish I had known about this place sooner its amazing.

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was delighted with the service but most of all the delicious food. We had a sharing tandoori mixed starter which was brought on a sizzling platter, amazing flavours and freshly cooked. Main courses were equally delicious. If you care about the surrounding you may think the restaurant could benefit with some redecoration but once you try the food it sort of doesn’t matter anymore.

Everything delivered had to be reheat. Really disappointed as normally no complaints. I had guests and did not expect to have to start heating the food in my oven and microwave… doesn’t taste the same

Usually love it here and don’t go anywhere else however was very disappointed this time round. Food was nearly cold when it turned up despite still being within timescale given, chips were undercooked and soggy, pakora sauce tasted like toothpaste. £23 for one and didn’t enjoy unfortunately, not usual standards.
