Bombay Kitchen in South Lanarkshire

Time to clearly update their website. Said it closed at 10pm Saturday. Arrived at 9.15pm to be told takeaway only. I can see if this was a Monday but a Saturday night seemed very odd.

Food very good customer service disgraceful do not deal with any issues to customers satisfaction won't be back

This was my first visit to the restaurant and I was delighted with the service but most of all the delicious food. We had a sharing tandoori mixed starter which was brought on a sizzling platter, amazing flavours and freshly cooked. Main courses were equally delicious. If you care about the surrounding you may think the restaurant could benefit with some redecoration but once you try the food it sort of doesn’t matter anymore.

my husband and I have ordered from here quite a few times. this is an excellent restaurant the food is first class every meal has wonderful flavour its fresh and piping hot which is what we like. portion sizes are excellent great value for money I have recommended this place to other family members, wish I had known about this place sooner its amazing.

Found this Indian online and decided to try whilst overnight in Hamilton to celebrate a birthday. The food was excellent, and good value for money. The staff were nice and checking to ensure everything was okay with our meal a few times. Could not fault the restaurant, and will return when next in Hamilton.

My wife & l had yet another amazing curry this lunchtime. Staff amazing, food amazing & superb value for money. We have never been let down over the years & love it there! Thanks to all the staff & will be seeing you all very soon! 10/10!

Just had a Chicken Tikka Meal delivered. Food normally good but this meal is awful. Normal chunky pieces of chicken tikka, tonight it’s flat and doesn’t even taste or look like chicken. Never ordering from here again. So disappointed

Went for a meal with my wife yesterday and as always the food was amazing. Staff are so nice and it is great value for money. We have never had a bad meal and do not go anywhere else for our curry. The place was mobed yesterday (Even had two tables of Indians, so what does that say!) yet the service and food was outstanding. Cannot wait to return to our favourite curry house! 10/10! We have been using Bombay kitchen since it first opened both dining in and takeaway. We have a takeaway night at least once a week and we always choose here. There have been a couple of issues with our order being wrong, waiting over 2 hours for a delivery and a few other things but it’s never been a big issue for us as normally they deliver what food they forget to pack in the first place. However the small woman who is the manager at this restaurant is honestly the rudest person I’ve ever spoke with. I can’t not believe the attitude on her. We phoned to place our usual delivery and were told we could collect only, when asked why is that, they tired to blame the delivery driver who we know very well from outside of his job. The next response was oh no there is too many Issues. ( I agree there’s always something forgotten when we order) when met with the staff for collection the manager told us I would advise you to use else where next time as none of the staff want to deal with you. When asked to speak to the owner I was told that would not be possible as he is never here. As owning my own business in Hamilton I would be very worried if I was the owner of this restaurant with the manager having an attitude like that. We have recommended this restaurant to a lot of people as the food has always been good until the last few months. It’s got Smaller portions and not as fresh as it was. I will definitely be avoiding this place from now on and will be advising others to use elsewhere too.
