The best restaurants serving Indian food in Scotland

Food is amazing. But unfortunately you will wait for it. One sit in meal we waited 2 hrs. Takeaway they say 40 minutes you head in and have to wait a further 20min

Absolutely incredible experience eating at this incredibly classy, cozy, and welcoming restaurant. The dishes taste like these recipes must have been passed down from many generations, and you are eating authentic Indian home cooking. I recommend the Lamb Vindaloo if you are up for spicy, and I also recommend taking pictures, which I foolishly forgot to do!!!

Disappointing experience Ordered food through Deliveroo. Runny carrot based (carrots?) pathia, jalfrezi also tastes like carrots/lentils for some reason (not onions and peppers as supposed to). Overall lacking flavor, portions are small, one wee poppadom for £0.80 (that normally added for free in our local place), same story with naan bread (also plain instead of garlic). This all makes it not worth of £40. I really hope it was just an unlucky case for us, rather than that’s being a normal order of things with you guys. Please do better

All good my butter chicken was full of flavours only one thing please let customers know if the delivery running late. Thanks for good food

one of the best take away meals I've ever had

Food hour late arriving, cold on arrival and wrong pizza delivered but because it took so long to get here, we ate it and it was blah!!!

food stone cold and not edible at all. normally order fro m navayas but tonite they weren't delivering so tried here. never again

The tastiest food and best service. The gentleman who looked after my husband and I last night was so attentive and lovely. Highly recommend!

Food: Chana curry was delicious, North Indian Chilli Garlic Chicken was good. Nan bread was flat not sure if we just received a bad make as other reviews were good. Butter chicken very tomatoey (so if you don’t like that would not recommend). Mixed grill was tasty but for £26 it is small, for the price you would expect a bigger portion, as this isn’t enough for even two people. Service: Only one waiter working, felt bad for the pour soul as he was running around between many tables: seating people, taking orders, serving food and clearing tables etc. Atmosphere: Has some nice Christmas decorations but otherwise basic interior, no music, and slightly chilly inside.

You have to visit Royal Bengal Indian restaurant if you are near Nairn or passing through, one of the best Indian meals we have had in this area by far. Service was excellent from start to finish and all the staff were very friendly and helpful when selecting our food choices. Also very good value for money for the high quality food we received.

Definitely AVOID AVOID because two close people I know have got food poisoning plus the very arrogant person I would Definitely AVOID AVOID
