Not up to usual standards. Pakora not as nice as usual and the chicken pakora was very salty!? Hoping it's a one off....

I had a fabulous meal at Nawab with a friend. As always, the service is impeccable, the food fresh & delicious and the ambience is lovely. The restaurant is cleaned thoroughly after a customer departs and their lunch specials (£8.45 for a 3 course lunch) are an amazing deal!!! Please don't think of going anywhere else for Indian food as this is by far the VERY BEST in Stirling and even possibly in Scotland. Ensure that you book beforehand as I have a feeling that they are going to be super busy post lockdown as they have some VERY loyal customers who will not go elsewhere! Thank you so much for such a pleasurable dining experience!!

Exceptional restaurant. The food is amazing. Had vegetable pakora which is homemade and delicious followed by lamb tikka with peshwari Nan. Superb. Finishing with coffee. First day open after a long lockdown and wasn’t disappointed. Service and food were excellent and I would highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Saturday night curry, prompt service, excellent dished cooked to perfection. can not fault this restaurant at all. 10 out of 10 as usual.

We ordered a takeaway at 5pm tonight on their own website, paid, and waited for delivery. And waited. And waited. At 6:15, I called them to find out what was happening and was told they'd get it sorted and call me before it goes out.I eventually got a call back at 6:40 saying it had left the restaurant so it certainly appears it got completely missed.At 7:02, almost exactly two hours after ordering, we finally got the meal.I wish we hadn't bothered. We got a mushroom starter to share and it was nice. The rice was OK. One chicken dish was decent enough, but the "butter chicken" didn't bear any resemblance to any butter chicken we've ever had in the past, it was a few pieces of chicken in some sort of "soup-like" sauce which was absolutely tasteless. My wife commented it was like it came out a jar - if it had, it might have tasted better.The peshwari nan was nice, but smaller than most takeaways.We've been long-time customers since it was The Ashoka and part of a chain and enjoyed meals and takeaways in the past but something went seriously wrong tonight and the meal was absolutely dreadful.I think we'll stick to another favourite local restaurant from now on.

Been to this restaurant every week since it opened again. Food and service are excellent. Try the Tandoori Salmon it is aaaaaaaaamazing. Also best peshwari Nan ever. Highly recommended.

Usually amazing quality and time but on this occasion 40 odd minutes late. After being told on it's way from restaurant a 25 minute walk awake.

Primera vez comiendo aquí y, lamentablemente, no volveré. No tengo quejas sobre la comida o el servicio, disfrutamos de nuestra comida y recibimos un buen servicio de la camarera. Desafortunadamente, la mayor parte del tiempo allí, el gerente / propietario estaba sentado en la recepción frente a las llamadas telefónicas personales en un altavoz que irradiaba a través del restaurante. Realmente arruinó nuestra experiencia tanto que tuvimos que preguntarle a la mesera si podía pedirle al caballero que tomara la llamada en otro lugar o al menos se la quitara del altavoz. Desafortunadamente, no hizo esto. Entiendo que la gente tiene que atender llamadas personales a veces en el trabajo porque hay una manera de administrar esto de manera adecuada para que no moleste a sus clientes. El mercado de restaurantes indios en Stirling es muy competitivo y, lamentablemente, por este motivo no volveremos.

Cenamos aquí un sábado por la noche - mesa reservada de antemano - conseguimos un stand que era genial, pero el resto de las mesas estaban muy espaciadas y el personal llevaba máscaras faciales. El menú tenía mucho pescado, obtuvimos la parrilla tandoori de mariscos mixtos y un curry de gambas con coco y maní. Conseguimos poppadums y el entrante mixto para 2 más un nan de ajo y un paratha y una porción de pakora de pollo y papas fritas, todo fue realmente bueno, con una botella de vino más algunos refrescos y arroz, la cuenta total fue de 100, lo que pensé que era realmente bueno para 4 personas. El personal fue muy amable y acogedor.

Very disappointing, very expensive poppadoms, bland tandoori chicken, curry was bland and lamb dry. Did not follow covid procedures either. Music playing, food server did not wear a mask, items on table were not cleaned after guests left, yet tables were reset. Would avoid this place if you can, only nice thing was the nan bread

Best Indian restaurant i have been to in a very long time. Authentic Indian/Pakistani food. Cooked with fresh ingredients. The desserts were also to die for. Will most definitely be back

Thank you trip advisor for suggesting Nawab. We had a really good meal tonight. Very tasty, beautifully cooked, great value for money and all gluten free. We would definitely come again but we are 400 miles from home. Best curry I have had for a long time and great service.

We have tried many of the Indian restaurants in Stirling over the years and tried Nawaab for the first time for a takeaway during lockdown as it was the only one open. We were very pleasantly surprised and have had many takeouts from there since.The food is always consistently fresh and delicious and very well priced. I also love the convenience of ordering and paying online for collection.

Fantastic food, full of flavour and well spiced. Would eat here again and recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Stirling.Service was fine and welcoming. All round a great meal, just wish we were staying longer so we could try other dishes on the menu.

I came here along with my family, we tried lamb saag along with chicken biryani. Both were reasonable priced, service was second to none. Both were mouth watering and highly recommended.

Been going here for years and the food has been consistently great. So tonight came as a real surprise. Starters came over cooked and smaller than normal portions. 2 of the mains were smaller portions than normal and the Peshwari nan we paid extra for turned up as an over cooked dries out plain one. Flavours are normally awesome but again today they are lacking and tbe sauces very watery. I hate writing negative reviews but today was such a let down I felt I had to let folks know.

Was meant to get home cut chips got ordenery chips paid for home made got freezer chips

Great quality food. However requested 6pm delivery, advised would be around 6.10pm. Contacted when 30 minutes late and advised would be a further 30 minutes. Disappointed with delivery time of 7.10pm !

Requested a 9pm delivery and the doorbell rang at 9.01pm, food was piping hot and fresh. Just what I would expect from Nawab, the best Indian food in Stirling, no exceptions!

Starters were alright, a lot of onion bhaji for the price. However, two curries were very disappointing. Butter chicken had no flavour and seemed watered down and only a couple of bits of chicken (tasted purely of butter). Garlic chilli chicken was okay but nothing to rave about and for rice there was no option for fried or boiled.

Always very happy with, food and service. I wouldn't go anywhere else for an Indian meal in Stirling.

Delivery was 20 mins late, but in these times to be expected. The food as always, we have dined n the restaurant many times, delicious as usual.

Delivery was right around the time that I specified, food was absolutely incredible! Best Indian food I have ever had delivered, was just about the restaurant quality. Only (unavoidable) issue is that the pakora and bhaji were not crispy due to being hot and steamy inside their containers for delivery. Otherwise exactly as you'd expect from the best Indian restaurant in Stirling. Can't wait to order again!

pakora was overcooked and not very much of it, monkfish was similar, ordered a dish that only comes as lamb and recieved chicken?? and it was late buy could possibly forgive that in the circumstances. not the best TBH

Using very out of date sat nav resulted in our meal arriving 45 minutes late and as a result, cold.... despite numerous calls with the driver giving both directions and alternative sat nav locations. No apology on delivery!

Food was tasty but arrived 1 hour late and completely cold. This is the third time we order and food arrives late and cold (second time in a row). I guess we will have to find another restaurant next time

We have regularly ordered from Nawab in the past and have usually been very happy. This time was disappointing. The rice was mostly hard and dry and about half we had to throw away because of this.

Our favourite place in Stirling, where we regularly visit family. Quality ingredients cooked well and dishes tend to be lighter than most South Asian restaurants. Warm and friendly staff. Always enjoy coming here.

Had a NY eve dinner. The Indian food was not only absolutely delicious but more importantly healthy with minimum oil and optimally spiced.

Monday evening, booked a table at 17:15, first ones in so very quiet, within 1 hour the restaurant was full and packed out. The food is different and unique , worth a visit

I live in london and eat curry regularly,on my travel to scotland i was searching for a halal restaurant and found Nawab,the curry we ate was excellent in taste,the popodum starter was also excellent,the only drawback was portions comparing to london was abit small and the time for the food to come took a very long time,in london the curry would arrive in max 5mins but in Nawab it took about 30 mins,apart from the cooking time,taste was excellent

One of the best Indian food I’ve ever tasted! Highly recommend!!!

We have eaten at Nawab many times and the food and customer service are consistently excellent. On our most recent visit, we had the lunch deal which is great value for money. The staff always cater to the individual needs of the customer and were happy to add extra spices to our dish. This is one of the few establishments that have great spicy dishes that are also full of flavour. There are also plenty of more mild options available.

Few friends were catching up and we decided we wanted seafood and keep it on the healthier side.

Pedimos un llevar a recoger. Tuve que esperar el pedido a pesar de que me dieron un tiempo para recogerlo. Luego nos dieron el pedido incorrecto, lo que significa que tuvimos que regresar al restaurante para recoger el pedido correcto, cuando obtuvimos lo que debería haber sido el pedido correcto, faltaban artículos. Habiendo conducido de regreso al restaurante una vez y con niños hambrientos, me las arreglé para arreglármelas sin tener que cocinar los artículos faltantes; Lo mismo que queríamos evitar al ordenar un llevar a cabo. Luego llamé para informar al restaurante de un problema y obtuve una disculpa muy despectiva. Nosotros no regresaremos.

Tercera vez visitando nawabs esta semana. Y siempre estoy asombrado, pero el hermoso sabor de toda la comida que he comido aquí. Toda la comida se hace fresca y eso es absolutamente claro, el menú es muy único pero aún contiene los clásicos a los que nos hemos acostumbrado. Este es, de lejos, el mejor indio que he comido y tiene que ser el mejor en el centro de Escocia. Instaría a cualquiera a visitar nawabs. El personal también es extremadamente amable y muy servicial :)

Si aún no has estado aquí, deberías intentarlo. Sinceramente, es la mejor, mejor y más sabrosa cocina india que he probado en mucho tiempo. Tiene que ser el mejor en Stirling

We were recommended this restaurant by a friendly off licence owner as we knew nothing about the restaurants in Sterling. We were very surprised by the imaginative menu here and the quality of the food was second to none. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. All of the items ordered were a joy to behold as well as being extremely tasty. They were almost a work of art! The service was excellent and the Sauvignon Blanc we ordered, perfect. We know were to eat if we ever re-visit Stirling!

Probably the best Indian restaurant in stirling. We love it here. Friendly professional service making you feel welcome and no rush to leave. Food is amazing and not your average Indian restaurant. Not a massive menu but the Chef specialities are amazing. Highly recommended.

On a Sunday evening our group fancied curry and what better place to end up at Nawab. No reservation needed as it was quiet this is a charming place in the city centre.

Had the tandoori chicken with patia sauce for main and vegetable pakora for starters . As a regular visitor for lunch I can honestly say the standard of food is always consistently first class. Great service and friendly as usual.

We visited tonight for my birthday celebration as up until tonight this was my favourite restaurant. Upon arriving the man at the desk ignored us for a considerable amount of time and looked at his computer screen instead of greeting us, very rude. The food was mainly good but the lamb dish was fairly tough. The service towards the end of the meal just didn't happen, we said no to puddings but then changed our mind, still haven't had them as didn't see anyone again to ask despite us being the only table in the restaurant. Had to go up to the bar to ask for the bill. I would also have thought and am sure that previously this restaurant had a card machine that gave you a receipt rather than a pad that's connected to your mobile phone that can only email a card receipt ( you have to type your email address into said phone) very poor! Perhaps they have a problem with their merchant terminal but this should have been communicated at the time. We have come away feeling very disappointed and deflated and won't be back.

I cannot anything to the many reviews of the quality of the food. Trust them, like we did. I simply want to underline the professionalism and amiability of the staff. They worked hard to make us feel welcome and to be on hand if we needed something.

Another delicious family meal at Nawab. With everything cooked to order you can’t fail to taste the difference in this restaurant. There is something to please everyone from Mild to Hot you will not be disappointed. The service as always is superb thanks to Shelly. Dr Noor has everything under control in the kitchen so sit back and enjoy the best Indian food in the Central Belt!

The first thing that strikes you is that the menu is so different from what you are used to in Scottish Indian restaurants - to such an extent that you really dont know what to have - do you stick with the old faithfuls and compare or branch out with something different

Nawab nunca decepciona: es el mejor restaurante indio del centro de Escocia. La comida es increíble: fresca, fragante y deliciosa, esta no es su casa de curry estándar. El personal es agradable, muy acogedor y dispuesto a dar ayuda y asesoramiento si es necesario. La gran cantidad de clientes habituales habla mucho y vale la pena intentarlo, no te decepcionará.

The food as usual was delicious, however having been advised that it would be with me at 1910hrs it didn’t arrive until about hf past eight.......a wee bit late

Shocking service will never use again. Disgusting
