Food is top notch and staff are great and friendly

Order placed for delivery with an estimated time of 50 mins. 2 hours 15 mins latter the food arrives. Some of the food was cold. Contact number was turned off after we ordered. Was offered a part refund but we're still waiting. Won't order from here again.

I ordered by Just Eat and it was amazing. The quantity is very good as well. I completely recommend it.

Awful, got order wrong with missing food, called and was told just to share the food we did receive!!! He then argued we did get all the food before eventually saying he would send the missing items but in around an hour. I appreciate things can go wrong but their attitude sucks when it does. I'll never order from them again, truly awful. Spend your money elsewhere with someone who appreciates your custom!

We ordered from here for the very first time today as received a leaflet through the door. My husband and myself drove from Dunfermline to Dalgety Bay. The old man serving us was so bad mannered and rude when taking the order. Kept rolling his eyes. Not friendly at all. Clearly asked for a hoagie in naan but got it home to find it was a wrap but don't mind now as won't be back anyway because the old man wasn't very friendly. Should have really cancelled after his behaviour but would have felt bad but with hindsight it would have been better. Definitely poor quality and the standard of the place was also very poor. Sorry, but please think again before going here.

Fantastic little indian restaurant. If you are staying around here, definitely have a taste of it.

Food was meant to be here between 20/30 minutes according to your website food arrived an hour later and was stone cold how hard is it to get food out to customers on time and be hot currently heating my cold kebab in my oven costing me more money come on guys very poor

Waited over an hour and 40 minutes for 4 meals to be delivered, when the delivery driver arrived...2 of the meals were missing and the other 2 were stone cold, phoned up and explained rhe situation and was told they would make them again and get them out ASAP...well, an hour later the driver came back again and there was still parts of the meal missing, this is the third or maybe fourth time in a row our meals have been wrong so you've had your chances....we won't be back. Absolute shambles.

Absolutely disgraceful!! Ordered a calzone specifying NO DONAR MEAT but to get ham instead, which I have been ordering for years as I don’t eat lamb, it came with donar meat in it, chicken tikka is fine and ordered a Coke and Diet Irn Bru, I got a Diet Coke!! I called them stating I don’t eat lamb and the juices are wrong too, they said they don’t do replacement meat and they weren’t going to replace my order!! I’ve been a customer for 10 years, I’ve never once had any problems, but I was told that they are now under new management so they have just lost my custom, terrible attitude from the female boss, won’t be ordering again!

EDIT. Ordered again after the review below and it was brilliant and back to its best on size and quality! Yhese guys used to be brilliant. Can't fault the quality of the food but just got the smallest kebab yet. Noticed a few months ago they were getting smaller but thankfully the one last week was back to its best. Just picked up an identical order and it's far smaller. Far too much inconsistency in portions now. It's even in a smaller box. I pay for the large size and extras to get a large with extras. Food is really great but the inconsistent portions are frustrating

Don’t take any notice of the comments section so ended up with stuff I didn’t ask for. Rude on the phone when ringing in to complain. Won’t order here ever again

Food is amazing. New staff member in charge with deep voice very stubborn says no delivery drivers available try another day?? Pardon. Turning away customers that have had no faults in over 10 years of custom. Ridiculous. Poor show.

Customer service is awful, paid £2.50 for delivery which was over 45mins late? Paid for items I didn’t receive and when we phoned we were lied to about the status of the food/order. Woeful

ordered hoagie paid for sauce it didn't come with meal took them 35min for them to turn up with sauce meal was ruined and ended up in bin won't use again .called at 21.44 was told they would send down called again 10pm was told 2min he be there turned up at 22.25 absolute joke *update if you read the message correctly I nvr said I called you at 22.25 I said he turned up at 22.25 I called at 21.44 was told he would be back down . I called at 22.01 was told he was on way be 2 min .I called at 22.15 and said don't bother sending sauce meal was cold and ruined . just refund . I nvr asked for full refund my wife ate hers and enjoyed hers . fact is it took 35 min for you to get missing part of meal out meal was ruined

Tried to charge me for using a card, cancelled my order

The food was amazing bu t we found a piece of plastic with sharp edges in the rice. We checked and it wasnt off any of our tubs. Could have caused an injury to the throat if ingested!

Absolute joke of a shop to order from our last 2 orders have been shocking food was terrible and way below par. Seems like that a simple order seems to be a huge task that can't be followed. If you have taken the time to look at the reviews I'd look for another takeaway.

Ordered from Uber Eats and after 2 hours I phoned asking about my order and the man was very rude and said the driver couldn't be bothered driving 10 minutes so he cancelled the order. Ridiculous.

I ordered tonight through Uber Eats and was really impressed with the quality of the food and the delivery. They gave us free popadoms and sauces and after mistakenly forgetting one of the curries came back promptly without any issues. All the curries and starters were delicious and our favourite was the okra. Well done we will definitely be coming back.

First time ordering from here and would definitely recommend, food was amazing and good value for money. Only downside was few of us ordered similar dishes and we struggled to figure out who's was who. Maybe mark on the tubs the name of the dishes. Would not deter me from reordering.

Delivered an order that was not correct. Not very helpful on the phone. Delivery driver who was to bring our refund was very aggressive even tried to enter our home!! Spoke again to restaurant who told us never to contact them again!! Spent the night with horrendous stomach pains!!do not waste your money!!

Phoned up to add a bottle of coke 20 mins after ordering, told it has left, which I was surprised by, very quick which can’t complain. Still arrived as expected, which isn’t a good sign because obviously the food was in the car for a long time. Guy handed over the food warning me to watch the pizza box as it was soggy, realised when I opened the box why it was soggy, under cooked and all the cheese and falling off out the box hole into the bag! Looked like a dog spewed it up! Also kebab was ordered and wrote in comments about spicy onions but no salad....... yup no spicy onions either! Had a few issues in the past with here....... time to stop going!

I put the order in at 17.30pm and was told it would arrive around 18.30 but I asked around 18.45 how long it would be and was told it would be 19.00. I called again at 19.50 and was told it was on it’s way. It arrived 20.12. I am disappointed with the service. The food was warm but not hot.

Hi unfortunately seems to have changed staff and the food quality has dropped significantly. The curry sauces were very similar - hard to tell what was what. The chicken pakora was dry and clearly reheated. The peshwari Nan was not like a normal one ... It seemed to be filled with marmalade. Have used this place for years but will be looking for alternatives now.

Our meal was by no stretch of the imagination up to your usual standard, lamb was disgusting and all went in the bin. Have used your takeaway for all the years I can remember and this is the first time I have ever complained!

The food was absolutely delicious (kebabs all round) and very reasonably priced. Spicy doner meat, juicy chicken and fresh crisp salad. Lovely. But..... When I placed the order on Just Eat I was advised the delivery time was 30 - 35 minutes. When I then paid for the order the delivery time then changed to 50 minutes. We ended up waiting 1 hour and 5 minutes. This would have been fine if this was the original advised time, so my problem is with Just Eat and certainly not with the quality of the food.

I received a text message to alert me my food was out for delivery then 40 minutes later it arrived freezing cold. Waste of money will definitely never order from here again

The order was delivered quickly, driver very polite, I had a lamb dansak with rice and garlic naan, best I have ever tasted, my soon had a 16" pizza with pepperoni, it was so scrumptious, doe was really tasty!! My daughter had the chicken burger with chips and she didn't leave a crumb!! I have now been back several times and it is always perfect!!! Thank you to everyone there :) xxx

Love spice of India and we’re regulars but tonight wasn’t the best meal we’ve had. Could tell the driver had other delivery’s first as our chips and pizza had gone soggy and the calzone was Luke warm. Was also a garlic dip missing that we paid for. Not the end of the world but totally changes the calzone without. Would still be back cause it’s normally class

Having ordered from the last 20 years this is the ultimate home comfort food for me. Best pakora and pizza I am never disappointed. From ordering similar orders at other establishments this always comes in at almost £20 less expensive and is always the best quality tasting food I remember.

Starters were fine but soft poppadoms, doughy naan and curries that were bland, watery and looked like baby food will not entice us to order again. Poor quality - hubby didn’t realised I’d ordered in food and said that this wasn’t as good as my normal cooking!

Clearly nobody reads at this place. Asked to get dropped at back door. Gets dumped at front door. So now i have to go get dressed to pic it up. Requested donner meat on both pizzas. Both pizzas arrive with no donner meat. Get offered the donner meat after phoning. But whats the point. Pizzas would be cold then. Dont like microwaved pizzas. Lost a customer tonight. Utter Useless

First time we have ordered a delivery from Spice of India. Food arrived on time and hot and very tasty. When I ordered online I could not find the Peshwari Nan (it turned out it was under Tandoori Sundries), and so i called about 20 mins before food was due to be delivered. The guy chucked a nan in the next drivers car and he dropped it off! Great service.

King kebab box came basically empty compared to how I've seen it before. You get more meat and salad in a small kebab! Cheese burger meal was nice but again, there wasnt much food in the box. Absolutely shocking considering the price we paid for our food!!! Complete and utter rip off!

Love the food here, great variety too. I recommend the pathia chicken it’s delicious.
