Yet another gorgeous meal tonight. A lovely wee Chicken Jalfrezi with Pilua and 2 garlic Chapatis.. Absolutly mouth watering. Been going here for 20+ years and never had any issues... Lovely family who make you feel welcome.. 😍

I've been ordering from Zaika for 10+ years. The meal for two offers a fantastic variety of dishes, each bursting with flavors. My order is always ready in under 15 minutes. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Indian cuisine!

We had take away picked it up and said it was my birthday meal and nice chap gave us extras very nice and pleasant people and never had a bad experience first class food and service long may it continue 😊

I’ve been getting takeout from zaika every Saturday for years and it was always fabulous but they must have a different chef now as it’s been so disappointing for months! I complain and it’s better for a few weeks . Last Saturday though it was awful again the pakora tasted awful as if it had been cooked ages ago ,the popadoms were soggy and the curry sauce was nothing like it used to be! Also we always ask for a garlic Nan bread and they couldn’t even get that right and gave us a soggy plain one! Ive really had enough this time and am going to try another Indian takeout next week! So disappointing!

We have been getting takeaway from Zain’s for years and it was always excellent but these last few months they must be using a different chef on a Saturday as it’s been awful. Curry sauce is now so hot I can’t eat it the chicken is sometimes so burnt it’s disgusting and last night there weren’t even any onions in the dish! I have complained to them already and it did improve for a few weeks but last nights was worse than ever! Maybe it’s time to try somewhere else??

Best Indian carry out in West Lothian. Generous portions, exquisite flavours, freshly cooked and always leave you a 'wee extra'. ... Puri and Bhoona are our favourites.

It’s a great takeaway restaurant but will not be using again prices have gone up by over 10% 😱😱😱 It was not cheap prices prior to latest price increases but come on guys you are ripping it latest price for meal deal !!!!!! Are frankly ridiculous , You have lost a regular for many years now bye 👋

I just wanted to thank the staff at Zaika for the kindness they showed to my mum today. They went out of their way to help my elderly mum who had broken down and was in need of help. Not only did they let her use the toilet (where the Coop had not), but offered her complimentary drinks and food whilst she waited on a taxi that they also called for her. They couldn’t do enough to help her. My mum has eaten from here before and says the food is delicious but excellent service and genuine care are not as easy to come by so thank you again.

Food was just really awful. Flavourless, lots of food colouring. Don't understand who is giving all the good reviews. Not even bang average food.

meal delivery at 6pm when ordered for 7:15pm, added this requeste which was not read as meal delivered at 6pm sent it away and called them to say. Advised that it was a mistake and they would ensure it would be a new meal, unfortunately what we received was the same meal reheatedpakora was soggy when usually crispy. totally disappointed and will not use this service again. they ask for what you want and totally disregared your comets please be aware

Got the meal deal for 2, amazing! So fresh and taste amazing! Defo try this if you love Indian! We use to use the one in Broxburn but will 100% just use Zaika ! Fast delivery too

I am extremely unsatisfied with the meal ordered for delivery last night it arrived cold chicken tuff and not edible we are really disappointed even chips sent was reheated!!!The complete meal was a reheat and very poor from the usual standards of Zaika and spoiled the birthday celebrations of last night,Lamb Madras ordered chicken Madras sent !!!We asked for meal deal and charged £32 !!! Can you explain extra £10 cost

Thanks again for a delicious meal, had to cancel a restaurant due to restrictions for our special occasion so opted for the ever reliable Zaika. Great pakoras, the fish was amazing and perfectly spiced mains.

First time I have used this takeaway, I had a lamb rogan josh with boiled rice which was fantastic, there was also a chicken tikka masala, chicken chasni,vegetable rice, two different types of korma, cheese naan,peshwari naan, 3 portions of chips, 5 poppadoms with dips.Not a drop left on anyone's plate, first-class!!

Was very happy this takeaway opened first few meals fantastic don’t understand recent meal very disappointed looks like chef took the night off and cleaners cooked my meal & my garlic nan bread was a f*****g joke so cold butter not melted and inedible,The amount of grease in my curry was deplorable not happy wasting money like this but as it all went in the bucket and it was not cheap ,

Zika is the best indian take away in Livingston. Its reasonably priced standard portions but really nice

Ordered the mix pakora, spiced onions with popadoms, three chicken patias, plain naan and garlic, onion and coriander naan and two steamed rice.Spiced onions were incredible and the popadoms, that set the tone for the rest of the takeaway.Starters were excellent, curries excellent, garlic onion and corriander naan excellent.Have to say this is one of the best Indian takeaways I have had in years.Reminds me of a proper Glasgow indian.Will definitely be back, this is the new 'to-go place' for us.Lovely staff also.

We have waited a while but so glad that Zaikas is back, we ordered at takeaway and wasn't dissapointed. So meal for two. With a generous portion of mixed pakora, a chicken passanda (yes I know I'm a wimp) and a lamb bhoona, both plentiful and tasty. We have not had a bad meal from here. Definitely worth a try.

Magioc. I ordered for a delivery and the lady said it will take about an hour is that OK? AN HOUR. fine we have waited months, and we were not disappointed. Absolutely lovely food, same old chefs so same good taste. Back in heaven. Thanks guys

The simple chicken Korma was tasteless and bland. Things are getting worse at this place I have been going here for years .

Ordered the Briyani and it wasn't Briyani. Looked like a last minute rice and left over chicken from a different curry not to mention it came with a very spicy sauce which i've never had before so I'm guessing I just got left overs. Just a waste as I couldn't even eat it and Briyani is one of my favourite dishes.

I was not impressed with the food from Zaika. The food was very bland. I ordered items that should not be too spicy, but there was very little taste to the food. Collection time was very fast.

I'm giving the meal a 1 as the pompadoms were ok we all had korma bland doesn't really describe how bad these meal's were really disappointed as this was my wife's first Indian in 3 year's not one of us could finish their meals personally I have been eating Kormas for years and this was as bad as they come I've pushed to get this takeaway ( Indian ) so so sorry I did now, i have read a few reviews and most were really good so was was surprised how bad this was

First time order. Food was bland and disappointing. Expensive for the quality and the free popadoms and spicy onions didn’t make up for the sadness we felt after half eating our long awaited dinner and binning the rest.

Not a traditional Indian meal Mann bread was a pizza and the curry was never a South Indian chill I have ever seen or tasted before very poor never again

Especially requested 19.00 as this is when my friend was arriving and the order was delivered at 17.40. What's the point of giving the customer this option when they are clearly going to disregard the instruction. I have ordered from this restaurant often but will think again next time due to being bitterly disappointed at having to keep the food warm and not serving it to my friend fresh.

Bland biryani. White rice with peas and meat, no or very little spice. Sauce really watery, just tasted of tomatoes and garlic. Big portion of pakora

The delivery driver was amazing, something was short and she sorted it there and then and the food was fantastic. Only thing is we always order 3 poppadoms and they only ever send 2 but food is great

It's ok. It wouldn't be my top pick in Livingston for takeaway. It was cold and soggy nan bread. Would maybe try restaurant as it looked nice.

Fabulous flavours- best Indian in West Lothian

We came here a while ago when it was in eliburn. Staff very nice and the decor was lovely but out of 12 of us 3 of us were ill afterwards, I wouldn't visit again, not a big fan of Indian food .the rest of the family enjoyed it though

The chasni was way to spicy, phoned to complain and got attitude from the manager. He did send a diffrent meal but it was bland. Cant comment on the restraunt service as it was a delivery.

Oddly, I was overcharged by the delivery guy. Will keep an eye on this in future.

From sight you couldn’t tell which dish was which - both red. Tikka was just tomato and a whole lot of chili. Whole lot went in the bin. Sorry guys but that was not an authentic Indian.

All staff are so lovely. They forgot to give me a magno chutney so I had to go back but they were very apologetic and even gave me extra poppadoms and a free rice!! Food is amazing as well love this Indian.

First time Customer. I didn't get any rice with my Tandoori mixed tikka! totally spoiled the meal. My garlic nan was just a normal nan with a big dollop of garlic butter in the middle which was still there! The nan was slightly soggy :( Real pitty as the chicken and curry sauce was actually nice.

I ordered the chicken passanda which is supposed to be a mild option and it was fairly spicy. the chicken was very chewy/crunchy and not a lot of it compared to the sauce ratio. the garlic nan was also quite bland. fair to say I will not be ordering from here again.

The Pasanda is delicious! I have had many from many restaurants through the years and I can honestly say I haven’t tasted better. It’s just perfect! The mushroom rice again delicious...just rice with mushroom...Perfect! The portion size is generous too! And always piping hot... I will be back! Of that there is no doubt...

My husband wanted something diffrent for his 50th birthday buffet , from start to finish the staff food and delivery was excellent the guests loved the food and i would highly recommend to family and friends .

Without my permission I was added to there automatic text message service. If I want to opt out (which I do) it will cost me £1. I complained to the driver about this and nothing happened. I would avoid using this place for this very reason!!

Quick delivery which was fantastic. It's a shame the food quality wasn't good. The coconut rice was just pilau with some sprinkled desiccated coconut on the top which was a bit bizarre, and the passanda sauce was bland and watery. I won't be ordering again from Zaika.

Ordered a vegetable korma. Received a Korma with meat in it. Pork I think. As a vegetarian I couln't eat it. Delevery driver had left by the time I checked. Went straight in the bin.

Thought of giving it a go after reading all the reviews and I am glad we gave it a try. Zaika has become my favourite and its just perfect for my taste. Must try are the Chicken Juipuri, Lamb Karahi and specially the garlic naan which are the best I have ever had. We decided to order for party catering and was impressed with the quality and service, food was delivered hot with high standards and within the time agreed. Top marks Zaika...

We use to go to the restaurant the food was always amazing in Eliburn. Since they have moved to the takeaway the food is still amazing and consistent.

Lovely food, arrived quickly. Could have done with perhaps 25% more chicken in the sauce - plenty of sauce just not enough chicken.

Three different chicken based curries, three sick people. How it is possible to give food poisoning to three people who did no share their meals as each has specific tastes (and the food was bland on 1/3) is mind boggling. Save yourself the money and go elsewhere. Or make sure there is a bathroom near by with enough capacity.
