Was in last Wednesday, I had the Lamb Rogan Josh, it was 1 of the best curries I have had, staff were great, was my first time here, wont be my last!!

I was really disappointed tbh.. we had chicken pakora.. it was more like kids popcorn chicken it was soft not crispy & only Luke warm despite me driving down to collect it?.. Never in my life have I had a garlic & coriander naan that has been painted bright orange on one side.. was chewy bland & also cold with no sign of either garlic or coriander?? At £4 each they were very small.. like the budget shop bought ones in a 4pack.. The tikka garamasala.. was very watery & not a creamy texture that one looks forward to.. I will not be returning.. & we are now having a sandwich for dinner instead.. if there was a zero star I’d have given that..

Wonderful pleasant staff. Quality food and no rushing because ' we need that table in 90 minutes'. It's just a really nice, quality restaurant. Recommended.

Ordered a takeaway. Normally the food and service is exceptional. Tonight however the food was cold. Not necessarily the restraunts fault , maybe delivery service? Won't let this opinionated future orders

Great food in a spacious and airy restaurant. Staff super-friendly too. What a great find. PS they have their own car park too, but finding parking on the main road was fine.

Best Indian food ever staff very welcoming and friendly

I ordered take away from here last night. Ordered at 5.30 and it arrived at 8.20 I understand this was because of a breakdown which happens. I called at 7 to chase up the order and was gruffly told someone would call me back. Nothing. Rang again at 7.25 and got the story about the delivery car breakdown. Apparently food was to be made fresh and sent out. Arrived at 8.20 and no was was it fresh. Was cold, chicken rubbery, rice hard, pakora soggy. Not even an apology, a complimentary item or drink or voucher or anything. Emailed to complain and no response. May aswell have taken £25 out of the cashline and set it on fire

Booked a table for my family. Food was first class.tika chasni was brilliant. Accomadated my daughters allergies brilliant. Dep and jag were on front of house. They were brilliant with kids . Highly recommend.

Celebrated birthday with family and friends and was a really enjoyable night out. Food was amazing and plenty to choose from the menu. I asked for a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised by a king prawn dish that was made for me too. There was another birthday party, as well as many other tables filled on a week day evening and didn’t deter from a great and friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant and worth booking a table. Enjoy.

Went for a big family dinner. The set menu was great & they were very accommodating to some of our unique requests that went a bit off the menu. The food was amazing & the service more than amazing. It's always been to a very high standard & in a comfortable, not overly formal setting. Everyone said how good the food is & what an amazing time we all had. I usually get a pick up for a chicken tikka meal & share it with my mum when I'm through visiting from miles away as its always the best. Definitely be booking future big family lunches there again as everyone was happy & it's excellent value for money :)

We called in on way home from Livingston on the hoof and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly and informal and the restaurant itself is clean and welcoming. The food was delicious, we had poppadoms with spiced onions, chicken pakora, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka rogan josh, rice and garlic nan as well as movenpick ice cream. The food quality is excellent and was piping hot. All positive and will definitely return but a set early evening menu would be a welcome addition.

Lovely restaurant with great food & welcoming atmosphere! We had a lovely meal on valentines night, we both ordered a curry each with pakora & chicken chaat to start. The serving staff were very knowledgable about the menu & attentitive to us throughout the evening. The food was the star of the show - everything was so delicious! Can’t recommend karma enough, we will definitely be back soon

Decent Indian food, midweek dinner so place was quiet, prices have gone up quite a bit since last visit, nice standard of decor and service

Great food, great service and reasonable price. It was very busy on a Saturday night and no one was waiting on food. They also offered us their daily special Paneer Tandoori. All in all a great night for a party of 7

My first time here and I can honestly say it was a fantastic experience and the food was excellent. The staff were extremely attentive, their knowledge of the menu and recommendations were on point. If you haven't been then definitely make a point to visit. There is a comprehensive menu that carers for all and did I mention the food was excellent.

Excellent. Was there on a quite Tuesday evening and was not disappointed. Quite the opposite. Servers were excellent, knowledgeable, unobtrusive and had a bit of sparkle about them. Food ? What can i say. Fantastically tasty and good portion sizes. Cannot rate highly enough.

I just had one of the most delicious lamb of my life! The best Indian I've ever had. What a treat. All the food was tremendous. Lovely staff and really good value for fantastic food and service.

Service was terrible. We waited 20 mins to order desert. But table next to us got 4 visits from staff. We finally got attention then asked for bill instead of desert. Great food but a special night ruined by poor service . Table next to us must be big tippers go get all attention . Ignore the other paying customers.

A proper dining experience for myself, big brother Robert and his partner Jan, who were not disappointed with the service, taste and portion. I happily recommend Karma and will definitely go again, both dine in and take away.

Best Indian restaurant outside of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Fantastic menu with all you would expect from a great restaurant. My favourites are lamb Rogan Josh and Cabli Chana (chickpeas) What sets Karma ahead of all others is food quality and the service, the team at Karma are fantastic and make every visit a great experience

The wife and I travel from Newmains to eat here, the food is excellent it's a family owned business with a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Staff are always helpful and the service is excellent.

Lovely food staff & surroundings very nice. Only thing food was a bit overpriced. Waiter asked if we would like some pompodoms & spiced onions which we said yes got 2 pompodoms & a small dish of onions it was 5.00 Most restaurants give you them complimentary

The best curry around can't find any better, even in Glasgow and Edinburgh. DONT let outside the building put you off. Very clean, well decorated in side

Always visit this restaurant when I am in Scotland. The food is always tasty. I sometimes ask to change some dishes and sometimes ask the chef to create a surprise dish for me too. Nothing is too difficult. The portions are great and plenty of meat/fish given. The service is always greeted with a smile and very helpful when needed. To dine out is very comfortable and also provides takeaway service too. Highly recommend and enjoy.

Superb food and friendly welcome. Can definitely recommend the South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken. A sweeter than usual sauce, but delicious. Wide menu.

I enjoyed the meal, but the main reason I gave it a three out of five, is because i’m pretty sure my meal was incorrect. I chose the South Indian Chilli and Garlic and it was sweet. This is my go to curry and i’ve never had it sweet before. Nothing really stood out for me and I had high hopes for this place.

Madras sauce was burnt tasting went in bin. Korma had 5 small pieces of chicken. Vegetable pakora was hard nearly had a tooth out no joke. Set meal£27 stay clear is my opinion

Waited an hour and a half on delivery. Had to phone to chase. This has happened multiple times when ordering delivery.

Went for Valentine’s Day dinner. Service was impeccable and food was absolutely delicious. One of the best Indians I have ever had. Made the special night even more special by tailoring to our needs amazingly. Even gave my partner and I a rose each at the end of our meal and called us both pretty, I was happy to receive this compliment as I’m normally looked over in that regard haha. 100/10 , will be back. Been coming to Karma for a number of years and over the past couple months we have noticed that the portion sizes are in free fall. We had an order a couple of nights ago and noticed the naan bread is now half the size, the pakora is the size of my thumb and the chicken tikka portion has been cut and the sauce is full of water. When your charging these prices it’s really not on!

Visited here for dinner for my son’s birthday. Everyone had a beautiful meal and I even had alcohol free cobra lager which was lush! Highly recommended and will definitely be back. All staff were also very knowledgeable regarding food and drink

I work in the area and I was told that the restaurant was good. We visited today after shopping in Livingston. The food was served quickly and efficiently by friendly helpful staff. Our meals were delicious, my only negative point would be the portion size of the Chicken Pakora at £5.50 compared to the carry out portion(which I’ve purchased previously) during my working week. Lovely atmosphere, pleasant decor. Worth travelling to.

We are locals, and regular Karma visitors. Sitting in or takeaway, the food is always first class. The staff are great, always friendly and helpful. Had many curries around the UK, but none beat the Karma. Always bring far-off work colleagues here, if they are in the vicinity, and every one has been more than impressed, also.

Got takeaway value for money food great

I was visiting friends in Bathgate and wanted to treat them to a takeaway. Ordered over £70 worth of food which we were looking forward to as Karma had been highly recommended. The food arrived and it was almost cold. The starters were all soggy, the Nan Bread was hard, the Chicken Tikka Sherabi is described as not sauce based but it came in a sauce. It is against food hygiene regulations to sell food that is not at the correct temperature as this could cause food poisoning!!! I have contacted Karma but have not had a reply which is very poor service indeed!!!!

The Chicken masaladar was amazing but the Lamb tandoori was dry, the sauce that came with it tasted like spicy lentil soup and the naan was average. Very disappointed

Been once before and will visit again and again. Realised walkable from our house, added bonus. Service is spot on from the very moment you arrive. Food is hot, fresh and mega tasty! Great value for money, although don’t think it’s a cheap night as food is too tasty to walk away with one course. Definitely be back

Fantastic tasty food, my sons love there authentic recipes. Service with a smile and can't do enough for you. Very clean restaurant. Will be back there korma and butter chicken are one if the best I've tasted.

Polite and helpful staff. I wasn’t sure what to order as I don’t enjoy a lot of spice and the waiter recommended the Masaledar, it was delicious! My partner had the bhoona and really enjoyed his too. The Chicken is so tender, we will definitely be back.

Very tasty & fresh food! Staff very friendly & attentive constantly asking if we needed anything! As a party of 6 I would say we all had a great experience! Drinks were reasonably priced compared to some places! For all 6 of us bill was not too bad & we had quite a few drinks 🥂

Food was out of this world and service second to none they take such good care of you so courtius and welcoming I have been coming here for years and each time the sercive is phenomenal if you love Indian food do not go elsewhere this is the place for you reasonably priced and good atmosphere. 10/10
