Sorry, first time using them, and the last. Back to Zaika in Livingston who's food has always been great (yes, they do deliver to Bathgate). No spiced onions with the broken poppadom (set meal) and no chilli sauce with the pakora. Lamb dish was nice but chicken dish was average. Oh well, you live and learn.

Was a takeaway but found the food very spicy and had asked for it not to be too spicy.

This is a great restaurant very friendly staff , nice atmosphere, and the food is always excellent, my wife and I have been many times and always very enjoyable, my favourite dish is the Chicken Shakuti it is nice and spicy just as I like it

I’ve order here for delivery many times and tonight wasn’t great, put my order in 15.50 for asap arrived 17.30, I actually called to see where the meal was! Told it was on its way, no apology, the vindaloo was bland just like the last meal we had, I asked for it to be spicy I’m really disappointing tonight. Probably give it a rest for a while as I know they can do so much better. Cut back on the dips and spicy onions aswell really disappointed tonight after a long wait ILL NOT BE BACK ORDER THE SET MENU came without popadoms or dips no spices onions

We ordered food for collection. We used their online option to order. We created an account, compiled our order, and selected our preferred pick-up time. All of which was simple. The food was ready for collection when I turned up. The food was piping hot and most importantly, delicious. A must for Indian cuisine!!!

We had our lunch here on our return journey from Linlithgow to Liverpool. Very nice ambience & service. Polite staffs. We have tried Chicken biryani which is served in a pot and it tasted very good and is accompanied with raita & gravy. Pappadams were given as a free starter. We have used Mall road parking at the back of the restaurant which is free as well.

Couldn't fault our meal tonight. Ordered for delivery for the first time and was very pleased with the quick delivery and quality of food. Everything tasted amazing and you could tell it was freshly made down to the onion bhajis which were so good! Will definitely order from here again

Had a takeaway from here and it was excellent, I had chilli garlic chicken which Is my favourite,I've had this from a LOT of restaurants all over the country and this has to be the best I've had, top class keep it up chef 👍

Was advised delivery would be an hour but arrived in 40 mins. I had veg korma which can sometimes be a bit bland. This was not it was really lovely and spicy. Partner had lamb pathia which he also loved. Ordered nan but also got free popadums and spiced onions. Very impressed with everything...

Had takeaways from here before and always been good but we dined in this time and food was amazing! Service did take about 1 hour from ordering to get our food but it did taste great so the wait was worth it

I like this Indian a lot. The staff are very courteous and have often given us extra if there's been any misunderstanding or delays. Food is great too, love the naans from here!! Also accommodating for my partner who is celiac (gluten free).

This is my friend and I”s third visit here and we love it the food is always good and the service is very good too wish they would decent deserts and a buffet at the weekend too

I eat in Indian restaurants up and down the country with my work. I have visited this establishment on three occasions now and have to say it is very average.. nothing special at all.. i have tried different dishes on each visit to try to come up with a balanced view, and on each occasion something has disappointed. To name a few.... only two dips with the poppadoms, mango and onion. Where is the mint sauce..? What is the pastry on the samosas... it is so thick and hard, no thankyou.. and i wouldn't say the starters came with salad, more a garnish.. The mains were better, apart of the jalfrezi which was so sweet it was like eating a bag of sugar. To be fair, they did try to rectify as i really couldnt eat. Lastly no VAT receipt is available, which as a business traveller is a must have. Dont think a fourth visit will be taking place.

This place blows all competition out the water imo. We order from here regularly and the standard of food quality is as good as you will find. Every dish we have tried is beautiful. We have always had great customer service too.

The starter platter for 2 was not a pleasant sight & didn't give off a wow!! - I would skip it next time & felt the paswarie nan was a bit tough in places & I usually have it with an orange coloured filling inside it. The main course & the rice was piping hot 🔥 & so we're the plates 10/10 for that. The Beancross restaurant near Grangemouth & Polmont isn't an Indian or Chinese restaurant BUT they do a brilliant to share platter.

Amazing food. Very authentic Indian dishes. Sweet mango lassi is a must. One of my favourite places to eat.

Just been for a meal for 6 people and have to say it was amazing. From walking in the door to out we were treated like royalty. The food I was apprehensive about as been to the bay leaf in pumpherston but it was just as good if not even better. The reason for being better is the staff. They do everything for you wether it being drink or choice of food. I would recommend asking Ur waiter for the best choice.

My husband visited your resturant last night for the first time. We were both very impressed quality of food , service ,price all amazing. I noted very much the attention to detail in the presentation of the food , the little extra decor on the place , very nice indeed. Staff were very attentive polite well presented great service. Food was of a very high standard well cooked good portion size. We were both very impressed with the prices both of the food and drink. Resturant lovely decor warm cost well spaced out , clean throughout. Certainly be back and will definitely recommend to friends and family . Didn't book and we were seated within 5 minutes. 5 stars from us

Worst veg pakora ever came cooked in noodles chilli sauce was from B&M curry was like pepper lamb was full of fat and greasy to top that of a Microwaved Nan with garlic butter no be back and to add to your comment I did make the manager aware he wasn’t to happy grabbed our plates and gave me a dirty look. Not once did they say to replace it. The mints after dinner mints were a god send to remove the greasy taste.

Only downside was the pakora didn’t come with a sauce. That aside, everything was very very nice! Garlic Chili Chicken and Tikka were amazing, def returning! The complimentary onion bahji type thing was cracking too

Can’t fault the staff, very pleasant and attentive. I had the Kashmiri chicken Korma (gluten and dairy intolerant) with coconut rice but unfortunately the chicken was very bland. No seasoning on the the chicken what so ever, tasted as if it had been boiled, sauce was nice. Partner enjoyed his meal though. Won’t stop us from returning in the future.

Very friendly staff on arrival. I was made to feel extremely welcome. The food was very tasty, well presented but nothing more than expected from this restaurant. I have no doubts recommending the Bayleaf to anyone and encourage all to experience their food.

Had a takeaway last night (Fri 18th Nov) and it was fantastic. We collected and the restaurant was in absolute chaos but that is maybe to be expected on the first Friday they were open. We ordered a variety of starters, side dishes and mains along with different breads and rices. Everything was piping hot and tasted fantastic. One of our family is not keen on Indian food but even he enjoyed it and said it was the best he had ever tasted. We will certainly be back and wish you the best of luck with your new restaurant.
