Esta fue una gran recomendación de un compañero de huéspedes en mi hotel. Fue un corto paseo desde el Holiday Inn. Llegué tarde por mi cuenta, pero me senté muy rápido y me hizo sentir muy bienvenido por Sadny y el equipo. La comida era excelente. Había un menú extenso. Me encantan los mariscos y había ocho buenas opciones. También tuve un excelente vino de rosa. Es un restaurante acogedor y bellamente decorado con un ambiente encantador.

Every meal very platable best in Scotland by a country mile I’d climb a Munro mountain for a curry club meal, the garlic and coriander elephant ears ( nan bread) are amazingly orgasmic❤️

Faltaba una de nuestras comidas. El conductor llamó dos veces sin respuesta antes de que le pidiera el dinero de vuelta. La mitad de las comidas eran frías y los popadomas eran suaves como unos días de edad. El curry estaba delicioso, pero no valió la pena esperar.

Incredible food. Best Indian I have had since I moved to Edinburgh. Delivery time very reasonable for a Friday night with the wintry conditions and the food was still piping hot on arrival. Will be back!

Still not here - say they’re leaving now so 20 mins an estimate - despite being a scheduled delivery and not as soon as possible. Also, app showed as Delivered even though it hadn’t left yet!

Ordenó un curry de la calle John’s para la cena de Navidad el día de Navidad. Pedí que se entregara a las 16. 30 si es posible. La campana de la puerta sonó exactamente a las 16. 30 con nuestra orden. Toda la comida que pedimos fue entregada, estaba caliente y desde nuestros entrantes hasta los platos principales la comida era deliciosa. Además, el restaurante ofrece una botella de vino tinto de cortesía. En general, fue una gran experiencia y no dudaría en recomendar Street John’s Curry Club a todos los que querían un gran lugar para comer fuera de donde pedir una comida para llevar. Food was cold by the time it arrived. Suspect it had been in delivery car for a long time before the driver got to us. Had to reheat the food but it’s never the same when you do that.

New Years Eve so delayed delivery time not too much of an issue. Meat in the Chicken Madras was extremely chewy and had to reheat side dishes, chips and naan bread. Disappointing as previous deliveries/food have been extremely good.

Food arrived lukewarm & the curry gravy had a burnt tatse. Vwey disappointing, won't be ordering again.

food took awhile to arrive and when it did it was all freezing cold and my nan bread was burnt with a huge hole in it?.. Not the service I normally get. food was tasty when I reheated it.. No free extras which was also disappointing.

absolutely top class restaurant, the best indian food we've ever had, everything is delicious and cooked to perfection. we got a beautiful bottle of wine and chocolates as a christmas gift which was a lovely thougtful and generous surprise, even more so since its my birthday today! our favourite place hands down, cant recommend it enough. merry christmas to all at st john's! 🎅

Our food was ordered at 17.20 for delivery at 18.40. The order was marked as Delivered at 18.40 but still hadn't arrived 15 mins later. When I called, I was told the driver was "busy". It finally arrived at 19.25. Delays happen but why mark as delivered and cause confusion especially when it takes another 35 mins to deliver? The food was lukewarm and all had to be reheated, no easy task with a meal for 5 people. Disappointing, despite the bottle of wine and Christmas chocolates.

Food came early as opposed to the estimated time of delivery, however the rice was cold and chips completely undercooked. Really disappointing in food quality on this occassion, food should not be cold on arrival when we stay less than 5 minutes away

I've ordered from here a few times. The food is generally good but is very inconsistent. Between orders the food will taste very differently. It would be nice if they followed a recipe instead of making things up. It's still good but you never know what you'll get.

Requested delivery for 7.30 pm. Eventually arrived between 5 and 10 past 8. Unfortunately, with exception of mushroom rice, all food had to be reheated in microwave. Disappointed, not usual standard of service.

Our go-to Curry house for many years now and we are yet to have a bad experience. Think we've tried almost all of their menu and again never been let down. Great food, good portion sizes, prompt delivery and a wide range of curries to choose from.

On a mini city break in Edinburgh and we wanted an easy, local dinner so decided on a curry with St John’s Cur dry Club literally right outside our hotel. We were welcomed straight away by one of the staff who was accommodating and attentive throughout. We went for a chicken tikka masalam and lamb madras and they were delightful alongside a deliciously buttery paratha. We also decided to try a chicken roti boti from the starter menu which was genuinely one of the nicest dishes I’ve had at any restaurant - Indian or otherwise - served with a perfect mango/ yoghurt/ mint dip. Thoroughly recommend to all.

We received food that was cold. And we could not reheat it as it says on the container. Roast pot were brick hard over cooked. Yorkshire pudding was so greasy. Im looking for a refund. I did phone to complain but they said i had to get a refund

North Indian garlic chicken was ok had better but everything else was decent

We ordered 5 mains and a few side dishes. Vindaloo. butter chicken and a tikka lamb dish were borderline inedible. Overloaded with sugar in the latter 2 cases and vindaloo seemed to have missed key ingredients (vinegar?). Naan bread was unusually sweet. Definitely could not recommend eating here unless sickly sweet food is your thing. Maybe we were just unlucky with the choices we made.

Saturday and we hadn’t booked and restaurant busy but they did best to fit the 4 of us in within an hours - went next door to the pub. Was worth the wait the food was lovely and staff attentive. Will definitely return.

Despite an initial address error, they made a second delivery attempt to get the food to me. The dishes were not only delicious but also arrived hot and fresh. The food was delicious. We ordered peshwari naan, Tikka, Biriyani, poppadoms & pickle tray. Fragrant, fresh ingredients and all recognisable as authentic Indian food.

Absolutely freezing meal delivery. Over 2 hours. Should have went to Iceland it would have been warmer. I ate it because I was starving. Food quality still fantastic cold. But I did not pay for a freezing meal. I want a hot meal. Phoned several times always on it way. But did not turn up. Sort out your delivery service. speak to Manor House along the road. Super hot food with ridiculous fast delivery.

Got to be the best Indian meal we've had in a long time, every dish was full of tasty spices, without being too hot. The King Prawn Biryani was great, packed full of prawns and nicely presented. Chicken Dupiaza was delicious. Enjoyed so much we returned for a second meal during our visit to Edinburgh.

The nicest people, the best food. And whenever anything goes wrong , they more than make up for it. A delivery order went missing and they brought me a complimentary bottle with my meal. Thank you 🙏😊

Great tasty food as always! Unlike some other places, each curry has its own unique taste. Portions are really good! Enough to share for sure! Food took an hour (which was advised when we ordered) and sadly wasn’t piping hot, otherwise I’d have marked up but always tasty so wouldn’t complain.

Wanna buy food that sits where rats crawl around? Wouldn’t eat here, save your money for somewhere that doesn’t keep your food sitting on a disgusting floor !!
