Ordered via deliveroo. Probably the most authentic Indian food I've had in a really long time. My heart was happy after the first bite. I cannot recommend them enough!! ❤️❤️ Thank you for keeping the authentic taste and not making everything sweet like other so called authentic Indian restaurants. The best part, garlic & chilli naan actually tasted like how it's supposed to! I cannot thank you enough. I was missing home and your food brought me so much joy. Thank you♡

The communication was a bit difficult as I have food intolerances I had to advise about but great food.

I love Peppercorn! The onion bhajis are the best I have ever tasted (I think star anïse could be the secret ingredient?), and the Chilli Garlic lamb is a real favourite! At worst, couple of curries have been solidly very good (the vindaloo a little mild), but amid a sea of wonderful treats, I think that's great! Fast service, and utter gentlemen to deal with upon collection. A real gem in the neighbourhood :)

Really good!! Fluffy rice, delicious naan, we had a korma & a butter chicken so not adventurous at all but it was tastyyyy. First time we tried and will definitely return. So sorry to the driver; we had no cash for tips but will make it up next time. Fast & friendly, too! Brilliant.

Takeaway from Peppercorn - food is great been before actually 5th time- had fish pakora not greasy …. then Lamb Xacuti lamb was very tender and tasty had a wee nip to it pilau rice and a roti bread washed down with some vino

A wide selection to choose from, I’m excited to work my way through the menu. The Chatt was really good, exactly what I’d expect. Everything arrived hot and well packaged. I had the honey garlic fries, but next time I’ll try masala for more flavour.

The worst customer service, unprofessional. Not even one star deserved ;) There is no option to respond your answer so I edit review. I did order by deliveroo, and my address and phone number ( not international ) is saved there, other drivers never had problem before or after, there was just problem with your restaurant. About being responsive - I was calling couple times but no one answered. And I was not refunded.

The Lamb Bhuna was salty, to the point where it was uneatable - so avoid that. The rest of the food was nice but I have no idea where they thought it was appropriate to put than much salt in the Bhuna.

The food was okay, the korma wasn’t the nicest I’ve had as it was a bit bland the main flavour was just of onion, needed to taste more of coconut. The peshwari naan was nice though but not sure I’ll be back.

The food quality was excellent. Great customer service too, I called the restaurant they missed my call and the guy called back and was really helpful. Also the delivery driver was friendly. Will order again from here.

The food arrived late , I called the restaurant to ask about the order and was told it was on its way. I asked I don’t mind waiting as long as it’s hot! It was not hot at all - rough temperature was 30 on the food probe. The food was nice once I reheated it but the fact still stands late and cold on arrival. I would order again and can only hope that it arrives on time last time.

Amazing vindaloo and mushoom rice. The saag aloo could use a bit more cumin and garlic and was closer to panaak than saag, but overall brilliant food!

This has to be my all time favourite Indian restaurant, the food is fresh and packed with flavour. Personal favourite is the lamb Makhanwala, you can taste the herbs and the meat melts in your mouth. Highly recommended if you enjoy a rich, smooth but mild flavour.

Ordered the couples meal deal, The portions were amazing and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed! We ordered 2 pulao rice, veg haggis pakora and chicken pakora which was delicious. For mains we had lamb saag, and chicken tikka masala. Full of flavour and a good choice if you want a medium spicy dish. Food was delivered piping hot and on time! Would definitely recommend!

Food was reasonably tasty but there seemed to be more bone than chicken in the dish which ruined the eating experience as you constantly were biting down on bone and having to pick it out. Despite good reviews, I’d be reluctant to order again unless it was a vegetarian dish.

We were very disappointed with both the quantity and the quality of the food that was recieved and would like to request a refund as the food was most definitley for the amount recieved worth the price that was paid

1st time trying the food from this newest outlet. The food was good for the price altg6the set meal for 1 is very expensive compared to mint @ Portobello but nonetheless I enjoyed my meal very much that I'd definitely consider ordering again. Excellent delivery service & very polite and friendly driver. Not any extras like other outlets like spicy onions ect. I highly recommend this outlet. Thank you all very much for a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Food was meant to come between 20:00-20:20. Came at 20:50 and was ice cold! We had to re-heat our food ourselves. Ordered two curries, paneer, bhajis, rice and Nan bread. The only thing warm was the curry, however both were vile. Korma was disgustingly sweet and the chicken in both curries was tougher than old boots. Late, cold and disguising. The number to call the restaurant doesn’t even work either. Worst Indian experience and won’t be ordering again! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Absolutely amazing food and great service. We ordered Paneer Makhani which came in a very delicious creamy sauce with generous amount of paneer and Chana Masala which was super flavoursome and perfect level of spicy. Will definitely order again soon. Highly recommended!

Prawn starter was very good. Lamb in biryani was tender but too much rice to meat. Gravy was ok would order again but something else.

Amazing food! Newer to Indian food and decided to try something new based on the reviews and menu and was super glad I did. We were blown away by the flavorful Chicken vindaloo, the vegetable pakora, and also the peshawari Naan. Great prices for the serving amount. We had a mishap with delivery as well and had to have them deliver twice, which we felt terrible about, but they were still very nice and understanding about it and the food was still hot and delicious

Definitely my favourite indian takeout in Edinburgh. The lamb chops are to die for.

Do NOT order from this restaurant, after recieving NO phonecalls from the (restaurant employed) driver, he arrived and was extremely aggressive and rude towards me. He then went on to try and refuse to give me the food, shouting at me on the street as I had to follow him out. When I eventually got the food from the driver, it was all terrible. The chicken tandoori had clearly been sitting in a manky tray in the window, and the chicken in the curry was poorly cooked and shaped extremely questionably. The Naan may as well have been a ball of dough due to how undercooked it was. Don't usually like leaving bad reviews but this place has had to be one of the WORST takeout experiences ever! Horrible customer service and food to match it, the driver also purposefully didn't mark the order as "delivered" for hours after he had been, so that we could not complain. Don't waste your time.

Never disappoints on quality or delivery

I’m not normally a huge fan of Indian food; I’ve ordered from my local takeaway a few times but haven’t enjoyed it much. That has completely changed since finding out about Peppercorn, though! The food is really really really good. It’s very tasty, very fresh, extremely healthy, and cooked very well. The food does take an hour to arrive, but it’s absolutely worth the wait, as it comes freshly-cooked and not just reheated. If anything, my one complaint would be that they’ve made it impossible to eat from anywhere else - the difference in quality really is that much! Oh, and if you wear contacts, it’s best to take them out before enjoying the chile garlic naan. Ow.

Exceptional!! From the delicious flavoursome Lamb Chilli Garlic and the Peshwari Naan to the crispy Poppadoms, but the star of the show was the Vegetable Pakora fresh and melted in the mouth... Stunning.. 9 months since this review and Still going to Peppercorn Regularly,( maybe too Regularly 😅) but they're still serving exquisite food that never let's you down who can't resist😋 head and shoulders above any other Indian takeaway in town

This was fantastic food. I order quite a lot of Indian food as it's my favourite restaurant cuisine and I was really delighted with my meal. I ordered from the single person meal deal which was good value and had a great choice of items unlike most deals like that. I had tandoori chicken starter which was rich and spicy - almost like a spiced lamb chop for depth of flavour, lamb Madras which was just exhilarating enough with a lovely thick tomatoey sauce and garlic naan which was just right. My kids had some chips which were also good (the best type of Indian restaurant chips, thin and tasty). I would not hesitate to order from here again, a great meal and a great deal :) cheers

The rice was fridge cold. The rest of the food was good. I will try it again, but it was weird they didn’t have fresh warm rice.

Everything was really tasty and arrived hot. I would say the onion bahjis are a bit thick and pasty, but everything else was spot on. A new favourite!

Order 4 meals, only 3 arrived and had to wait 50 mins on it being delivered! Not good when having people over for dinner and someone having to eat on their own!

I was expecting some salad with the pakora, most places give you a little . The curry sauce tasted burnt . I had to pick the chicken out to eat and throw rest in bin. What a total waste of money.
