Great service from them, we've ordered several times now. They're also super nice on the phone and in person, and more than happy to accommodate our needs (veggie/vegan so no ghee for instance) Food feels fresh, and when we need it to be spicy, they do it well. It's going to become a regular takeaway for us! Thank you!

We have ate here multiple times. Never been an issue. The last time we ordered I order one of what is their best dishes. 'Genghis chicken'. What turned up was half the amount of what they should and did serve. This was my first issue. We also eat in the restaurant regularly, so they were always a favourite. Last night, we ordered in with them again. I ordered a butter chicken and my husband ordered a biriyani meat. With chops and naan bread. The naan bread was very burnt. The biryani was not meat and only vegetables and the 'butter chicken' was not butter chicken at all. It was a concoction of whatever they decided to throw together as they was closing. It was absolutely awful and tasted of just grainy coconut milk. I've never been so dossapointed for a takeaway at £35. I couldn't even call to complain as we were clearly last orders and they then closed up. They should have rejected our order if they couldn't fulfil it. Instead they rushed food which wasn't of order. I wont be eating here anymore. And I will be leaving all our friends a bad review who also go here

The restaurant is not accommodating for large groups. The food was excellent, and the service was satisfactory during the meal, although the main courses took a bit too long to arrive. The issue arose when it was time to pay the bill. Despite informing the staff beforehand that our group of 15 would be paying separately, the manager insisted on providing a single bill for us to sort out amongst ourselves. This is challenging when some are paying by card, and it's not practical to expect customers to carry change. The correct approach would have been to allow each person to pay for their own order. Although they eventually permitted this, the hassle significantly detracted from the overall experience. It seems the staff are not focused on customer support. I recall a similar situation last year when an additional fee was charged for card payments. I had hoped for an improved experience this year, but it appears a different choice will be necessary in the future.

Overpriced and underwhelming! First time since the refurbishment and zero food hygiene rating, so disappointed. Food was average, lacking flavour and seasoning. The waiters were more concerned about selling us drinks rather than the food. Admittedly the interior decor is a massive improvement though this can't hide the fact the standard of the cooking is not the best.

Delicious food, eaten here every night this week, the chicken harali was the best dish I had recommended by the chef.lovely staff, lovely food, great prices I will come back as much as I can! (Photo is not of Harali it’s from another night but only one I had, also tried to do Facebook and google but it wouldn’t let me do another as I had already done it last time I stayed down here!)

Visited here on Thursday evening. Always given a warm welcome. Ordered chicken tikka pathia with Pilar rice and garlic and cheese naan bread. All was absolutely superb Please be aware they do not possess a drinks licence but offer soft drinks. You are allowed to take your own alcohol A place not to be missed.

Another delicious meal at The Pavillion. We usually dine-in as we like to make an occasion of eating such delicious food. I particularly appreciate the table linen, it makes the whole dining experience so special. Last evening we ordered Chicken Tikka, Vegetale Curry, Plain Boiled Rice, Jeera Gost, Pilau Rice, Garlic and Corriander Naan and Popodoms with dips to start, all freshly cooked and couteously served. We have been dining at The Pavillion since it opened in this location after moving from above The Old Neighbourhood Inn. Relatives of ours who have travelled the world and lived and worked in many eastern countries say it is one of the best places for a curry that they have experienced. Brimscombe, Stroud is so fortunate to have such a good Indian Restaurant and Takeaway.

Be careful if you park your car in the restaurant's car park behind the building. It was the first time I had been to the restaurant and the food was ok but 5 days later I got a parking fine through the post for £100 or £60 if I paid within 14 days. Of course I protested to the company who operate the car park for Amans and sent a copy of my credit card statement to proove that I had eaten in the restaurant but they said that it was entirely my fault for not seeing the sign, even though it was a dark night and pouring with rain. But they said in the circumstances they would reduce the fine to £20. I phoned Amans and spoke to the Manager but he was unsympathetic. Needless to say, I won't be going back.

With the economic climate the way it is, you'd think that everyone would up their game so they can survive and prosper. Not this place. 4th rate Indian food that is bland, poorly made and not authentic in any way. Coupled with the staggeringly rude staff that stare at you as if you're somehow interrupting their evening. Put these two things together and you get 'Aroma'. Appalling, simply appalling.

This place was an amazing place for a quiet relaxing Indian, where nothing was too much trouble. The food was perfect usually I can eat a whole meal but the portions here were large and delicious and they let us all have takeaway tubs. We were a bit of a pain but the server didn't complain or moan he was very polite and understanding. I would definitely recommend cinnamons to anyone.
