The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Avoid at all costs. Very overpriced food. Ordered a wrap which came with a nan. Small amount inside and was very dry. Portions are tiny and very overpriced. Sauces come in a tiny tub prob about a tablespoon amount if u are lucky. This meal cost a fortune and I ended up puting a pizza in the oven out the freezer and it was a million times better. Do not waste ur money.

Lured in by the outside stall, we received a warm welcome. Our server was happy to describe dishes and make recommendations. We enjoyed everything. The manager and staff made sure that we felt at home. We'll Done Shaqar and everyone.

This place used to be amazing. Unfortunately it is now a run down poor excuse of its former self. We pulled into the car park almost sure that the restaurant had closed down. The place looked in a state of disrepair with paint falling of the walls and window frames. We were just about to leave when a member of staff came out and assured us they were open. Dubiously we went in, remembering how great it used to be. Inside, the decor was not much better, it was very tired, in need of some TLC and investment but as we were the only people in the place I guess that investment won't be coming any time soon as this place cannot possibly be trading very much longer unless it survives on take-away trade. Upon taking our drinks order, we were disappointed to be informed that they had no beer (draught or bottled) so had soft drinks. Unfortunately the disappointment didn't stop there as when our main courses came out, one was inedible and the other extremely salty to the point where it was only just edible. To be fair, the staff did offer to replace both of our meals, but we felt that the damage was done and just wanted to leave. I would strongly recommend you avoid this place, it is certainly not what it used to be. Such a huge shame.

£12.95 for 1 bottle of cobra, make your own decision if it’s a rip off :) we only had one drink and was not itemised like food items.

Very good food, very polite . Very typical Indian food. Reasonable price. Price quality very good score. If possible more typical choice of desserts needed.

Never ever tasted curry this good anywhere.

I had the fortunate chance of a night out with a few friends. The decision was unanimous to go to the Burj and nobody was disappointed. The staff are fantastic and the food is definitely the best Indian cuisine by far. Don't take my word for it try for yourself. Bilisimo

Great food, actually cooked in the sauce, and hot...

If you like curry, go somewhere else. A restaurant that provides everything but specialises in nothing. Ended up throwing my curry and raw flour tasting nan bread in the bin.

Stay away!!! Very poor food quality. worst Indian food we had. We ordered take-away and the person who served us realised that we were not locals as we’re just visiting, hence served us poor food. Definitely waste of money. Never again.

I had hosted a B'Day Party for my Son. While I wasn't happy with the arrangements done and what restaurant had promised me to deliver but what was more frustrating that I was over-billed. At the time of payment, the cashier told me that their till-machine is not working and hence just did the total on the calculator, which was incorrect. Since, I didn't had the receipt, I didn't realize that I ended-up paying about 15% - 20% extra money and realized only after I came back home. Since, then I have called hotel may times and sent them an e-mail as well but no response from their end. It's not a matter of 40 pounds that I paid extra but the intent and the courtesy demonstrated by the restaurant manager & staff. Disappointing when have a feeling that someone has tried to cheat you...may be unintentional but not correcting their mistake

Terrible service Ordered takeaway via the telephone repeated 3 times what we wanted delivered:- 2x Chicken BYIRIANY 2 XONION BHAJI 2 xBOMBAY POTATOES 3X POPADOMS AND 1 KEEMA NAN. FOOD arrived LUKE WARM order was wrong no popadoms rung up to complain sent a man out that came to the door with a bottle of coke!! Told him to go back and tell them that I wasn't happy and then he came back again with some popadoms. We had guests so we plated the food up and had to heat up each individual plate up as it was cold. Costed it up via the Menu on the website and it should have been ££41.80 including delivery not what we were charged which was £49.25 (we paid cash). NO APOLOGY!

Had a takeaway, really easy to order online and was ready at the arranged time. Delicious food, plenty of meat free choices.

Excellent service and food. 3 of us chose from the chef's specials and each was delicious. Will certainly visit again when in Ludlow.
