Excellent evening at Indian Ocean staff are friendly and welcomed us had a great atmosphere and relaxed everyone enjoyed there meals portion size good well cooked and tasty I will definitely be returning in the near future

No estoy seguro del nombre de un chico encantador que nos cuidó por la noche, pero él fue muy útil en aconsejarnos qué probar cuando algunos de nuestro grupo estaban tratando de ser aventureros y probar cosas nuevas. Para aquellos que no lo eran, estaba feliz de ofrecer su regular probado y probado cuando dijeron que no estaba en el menú (que se ofreció en lugar de preguntar). Normalmente no soy de los que sienten que el servicio es un gran problema (en realidad no estoy interesado en ser servido en absoluto), pero me di cuenta de que esto se sentía como un servicio realmente bueno, así que quería decirlo. Sin duda recomendaría.

The food and service is utterly disgusting. We booked in for the 30th September. However, when we arrived we were told that our table was given to someone else and that we'd have to wait another 10 mins. 10 minutes passed and we were told another 15 minutes. If it wasn't a birthday meal we would've left and gone to the Shaan Restaurant. When we sat down, we asked questions about some dishes on the menu only to be responded back with, "you're white, stick to the mild dishes". I was gob smacked with the waiter. I requested for the manger but the waiter had already stormed off muttering "honky" under his breathe. Disgusting and racist. I got up and immediately left with my family. Never again.

Me and my partner came here to celebrate her 30th birthday, we were staying at the hotel down the road, honestly can not fault this place at all! We had a starter, 2 mains, 2 rices and a side and we couldn’t fault the food at all! Very tasty, cooked very well and the staff were amazing and were very friendly! Definitely going to come back! Thanks to Ju who was very welcoming and made the meal a pleasure

I visit the restaurant very often, I’m a regular because the staff are always friendly and the food is excellent. I’ve never had a bad experience. My last visit I had a chef special prepared by Ahmed and it was amazing. Brilliant service from Alfie and Jewel and the the rest of the team

Reviewed this place before..thought maybe it would ov slacked if by now...but no.. was so nice. I ordered chicken tikka masalla, vindaloo hot... And ongoing was not disappointed. Full of flavor and heat.. But so much flavor.. Definitely back again

I know this is the best Bangladeshi restaurant within miles. Every time we come we are welcomed and the food is excellent. Highly recommended.

We had a takeaway yesterday for the first time. Ordered a whole chicken tandoori and plain paratha. With all the good reviews I was really looking forward to try it. After a long wait which was more than 40 mins (one of the guys even asked me if I ordered) sitting in the shop we had our takeaway ready. I assumed it does take time for chicken tandoori but was disappointed with the chicken. It was not freshly cooked was dry and tasted like a day old. After all the wait and to find the food not fresh really put me off. I gave 2 stars for the paratha which was delicious and freshly made. I’m sure their others dishes are good.

I have been going to New Sunar Gow for many years, with my husband and now with friends - always lovely food. I went last Saturday with my bestie and her husband, and while the food was excellent, we realised the next day we had been overcharged. The total charged was £92, when calculating ourselves we got it to £61.50, plus 2 Cobras and 2 OJs, which I doubt are £7.50 each!!!

Went for a monthly curry club with some mates. Absolutely amazing food and the owner is a great bloke. Would recommend to anyone

Good food & service overall served by palak mainly. I ordered Peshawari nan sadly not authentic (almonds, sultanas, apple puree, diced coconut) just mushed apple puree. Dal banjara house speciality was nice but very spicy, didn't like fish as basa ( river cobbler) served on variety platter. Wish they offer alternative e.g., cod or haddock in future.

We have been going to Nishad's for many years and the management has recently changed. Thankfully, the quality of service continues to be excellent. Last night we tried one of the new dishes which they have introduced onto the menu. It was glorious. We had a great night. Thank you boys. Steve & Pat
