Went to Swaad for the first time last night and already looking forward to going back! Whilst all the familiar favourites are on the menu, there's also plenty of different choices that you don't see on your normal Indian restaurant menu. Some great sounding veggie curries and meat and fish dishes. The service was excellent and all the staff were so friendly and a really good laugh! The atmosphere in the restaurant with other customers was spot on. The food was also delicious, perfectly cooked rice and beautiful sauce with the curries we ordered, and plenty of it too! The chilli and garlic naan was a bit crispy but still tasty with a good amount of heat. Might just be my new favourite Indian restaurant in Fleet...

Order ahead as it takes them at least 30 - 40 minutes as they have a thriving take away business - the food is zero frills and 100% on the taste and far too cheap for what you get - if it's food alone that you are after, then go there - if it is atmosphere, service and no compromise quality then my favourite has to be Rajdoot in George St, Birmingham - the food there will knock your socks off and impeccable decor and atmosphere - but it comes at a price - but if quality equals price then not an issue - if you want a Patek Philippe then you have to pay the price

Sat nav diversion led to us filling up at the Morrisons next door a d tou could smell these delicious wafts of curry. Quick detour and we went here for dinner. It is incredible. The fried aubergine was amazing. Had the lamb keema and the medium spice level was just right. My partner seriously enjoyed the okra curry too. Would 100% come back here again.

I cannot praise Massala Room enough, they are consistent from the food to the friendly service. Whilst we do not have to travel far, we would be more than willing to travel for our favorite curry house. No other lamb has ever melted so easily, no other sauce has ever had such a smooth flavour. This evening maps told us you shut at 10:30 but it was actually 10 so our call at 9:50 was more than justified to be turned away or ignored but not only did you answer and whip up a beautiful takeaway, your decor and restaurant atmosphere made our valentines more special. Thank you to everyone at Masala Room.

Splendid lunch with my colleagues at Dishoom in Shoreditch. Attention to detail across the board from the excellent service, lovely veranda, and of course the amazing nosh. Dishes are meant to be shared - we tried the okra fries, lamb samosas, special prawn dish (incredible flavor), special lamb daal, and the ruby chicken. Accompaniments included cheese naan bread, rice, and three different styles of side sauce (spicy, fresh/herbal, and sweet). Highly recommend!
