The best restaurants serving Indian food in Leeds Yorkshire and The Humber

Our daughter recently moved to Leeds and immediately went on the hunt for good vegetarian restaurants. She couldn’t stop singing the praises of this place and insisted the next time we visited that we ate here. A table was booked for 7:30 because this place is very popular. We were greeted and seated quickly and the waitress was very polite and professional. We ordered the combo for four with a few extras. This place also serves a wonderful selection of craft beers which compliment the food beautifully. Our food arrived in good time and was absolutely delicious. I must say, being a carnivore, on this night I did not miss the meat. I can see why my daughter raves about this place and today it has won two more fans. This place is a must visit and I will definitely be coming back.

Mi primera vez aquí y todo lo que puedo decir es que fue increíble, el personal era muy atento y la comida era excepcional fue una noche tan relajada y volveré.

Nunca hemos tenido menos de una gran comida aquí. La comida siempre es deliciosa y el personal es fantástico. En esta ocasión visitamos por un cumpleaños familiar y tomamos las tapas, que fue sobresaliente. El personal fue muy cálido y atento, lo que transformó una deliciosa comida en un gran recuerdo familiar

Simplemente lo mejor en el mercado de alimentos de Bridlington. Nos las arreglamos para encontrar este puesto precioso y así compramos algunos para llevar a casa, chuleta de cordero al curry y garbanzo al curry, sabía increíble. Espero volver a verte, desearíamos vivir más cerca de Leeds.

Decent service but the food leaves a little to be desired. Supposedly authentic Punjabi, but the food just lacked in complex flavour. It's as if they don't put love into making it properly. So many restaurants these days just don't cook with love and it shows in the food they put out. Chicken breast in the curry was dry, the masala lacked oomph and the paneer tikka was hardly seasoned well. And the cheekiness to charge 4.49 for a bit of salad is ludicrous. The restaurant is situated outside the city centre in a more industrial area and is decorated in a no frill relaxed sort of way implying cheap and cheerful but tasty street food but actually does neither.

Ordered off foodhub said food on its way ,never turned up absolutely shambolic never order from these again ,took my money by the way but no delivery!

Salir con amigos. Entrada mixta seguida de Pollo Lahore. La comida era increíble y el servicio era bueno. noche terminó con una charla rápida con el propietario que era amable. Tuvimos una noche encantadora.

NAWAZ! Nos gustaba un indio, El que excede, Se llama Nawaz, En Crossgates en Leeds, No puedes comprar una cerveza, Pero puedes tomar el tuyo, Es más barato de esa manera, Así que no hay necesidad de gemir, Poppadom para empezar, Con una selección de chapuzones, Todo muy sabroso, Tan bien vale la pena el viaje, Luego vino la comida principal, Ambos tuvimos la bhuna, Era la primera vez que estábamos, Ojalá hubiéramos venido antes, Todo el personal es servicial, El servicio es de primera, Así que si estás en Leeds, Vale la pena parar! Junto a la bhuna, Pedimos una abuela, Eso nos llenó a los dos, ¡Nos dirigimos a casa en la furgoneta!

Comemos aquí recientemente un par de veces. La comida era muy buena, recién preparado y cada plato delicioso. Servicio amable y ahora mi restaurante indio preferido. Recomiendo tomar un tak.

We were highly impressed with the service and food. Really recommend for those who want to try an authentic experience. The atmosphere was perfect and really set the mood for our daughters birthday. We also received a delicious cake that put a smile on her face. Thank you so much! Especially to our server Maryam!

Sin embargo, estaba un poco decepcionado de probar el Vadu Pav (bola de patata especiada con masa ligera y chutney verde servido en un bollo), ya que sabía bastante soso. La textura era de solo puré de patatas con una capa suave , sin una capa crujiente a ella, y no muy especiado en absoluto . El bollo sabía como un pastel de pan de supermercado. No hay evidencia de chutney verde y la ofrenda de ensalada fue unos trozos de zanahorias ralladas y col blanca. ¡Todo sabía un poco mal! Por su descripción esperaba que fuera similar al petisse pero lamentablemente no. El servicio fue rápido y el personal encantador, así que puede probar algo diferente la próxima vez.

Quite a disappointing meal considering the rating and reviews... as mentioned, this is now called Indian Pakwaan. We opted for our usual bottle of prosecco, poppadoms/pickles and a main. Plus points are prompt and courteous attention, but some knowledge of the drinks variable would be beneficial. Also the prices seem quite reasonable. Poppadoms tasted burned and the pickles weren't nice, everything laced with caraway seed. My main was a chicken madras, it was OK, far from up there with the best but it wasn't bad... not much meat in it though. My wife's chicken tikka masala on the otherhand was awful. Oddly hotter than my madras, tasted quite acrid wasn't the red colour with hinted sweetness the dish is supposed to be. Not enjoyable at all.

Amazing local curry house. A lovely cheap meal and also BYOB is very handy. Can accommodate large groups with short notice. Large dining are with lots of space between tables. Food quality never falters and delivery is often very quick.
