Blue Tiger Restaurant Bramley in Leeds

Driver was very lost despite taking to him on the phone for 10 mins. We’ve ordered from here a few times recently with no issue.

Great traditional Indian & Bangladeshi Restaurant, excellent food, good quantity of food and good value for money, decor could do with an update, But their Thali nights (Indian Tapas) on a Wednesday is a great way to sample a few of their delicious dishes.

The onion bajis rock hard. The popodoms were stale and soft Certainly not to normal standard. Will have to find a new Indian takeaway.

Food took over an hour and arrived cold. Overall very average. Could have make a better curry myself with a supermarket jar sauce. Naan bread dry. Wouldn’t order again

We had an extremely enjoyable first visit and will certainly return! The service is excellent, the food is delicious and the value for money is truly impressive. There is an extensive and varied menu which should cater for most tastes and requirements. They were happy to make a keema biryani even though not on the menu and it was great food. If you want alcohol bring your own along and they will supply what you need to drink it. Very pleased with the whole experience.

Wanted to love this place but after finding a hair in my curry, items forgot from the order and everything being spicy even the rice and korma?! I can’t give the best rating and won’t be returning which is a shame as we’ve just moved nearby, A recommendation would also be to provide larger pickle tray containers and they are about 1/3 of normal size and ran out after 1 poppadom of which was also small in size

I ordered a curry and even called ahead to clarify my order, but they still managed to send the wrong dish. When I contacted them about the mistake, they had the audacity to tell me that I couldn't get a replacement. After the bad news I received today, I was really counting on this meal to lift my spirits, but they completely ruined it. Terribly disappointing experience.

Food was brilliant. Just Eat say 'spend £40 and get free onion bhajis'. We spent over double this (£97) and did not receive any - disappointing for a big order and 7 people to feed!

as always food is amazing from blue tiger!! mushroom pakoras seem to be a bit different from last time I ordered but still taste good 😊 the only Indian I order from!!

Plesently surprised, The outside of the restaurant is a bit outdated / unkept and i won't lie it was a bit worrying, however it was very busy and that's always a good sign. Entered the restaurant, a bit small but it is what it is, it was quite tidy, table was ready as pre-booked. Staff seemed friendly and attentive, One downside was no alcohol licence. Starters were large portions and tasted great, mains also no complaints, everyone seemed to enjoy there meal, wasn't a fan of my curry but that was a choice I made that I wouldn't normally have, I think it still tasted fresh and if I had another i'd have enjoyed it too. Prices a bit expensive for what it was but not outrageous. Overall it was good but nothing special, which is pretty much what several other reviews summed up.

Worst chicken Karahi I’ve ever had terrible

Feel like I’m having to write this review as getting a tad fed up ordering a takeaway , travelling all the way from Leeds 11, not just round the corner, get home to discover something missing. This is the 2nd time now in few weeks. No point ringing as we have to trail all the way back. Tonight my keema rice was missing, the few week back, onion bhajis. Very very annoying. Not sure we’ll be coming again, shame really as the food is lovely but your lack of attention in providing what we order and pay for is terrible.

Very disappointing not up to usual standard chicken Makani tasteless no mango not the same dish that have had previously pilau rice very bland onion bhaji burnt to a crisp husband enjoyed his meal mushroom pakoro chicken curry and mushroom rice

Given how quickly it was delivered, I doubt it was freshly cooked. More frozen and reheated. The keema korma was like soup, but the rest of the order was lovely, tasty and hot.

We have used this restaurant for a takeaway many times and have also eaten at the restaurant on a few occasions too. The service has always been great and so has the food tbh. We really enjoyed our meal once again especially after 2 weeks of horrible bland hotel food in Turkey, it is always hot and fresh, be it in eaten in the restaurant or as a takeaway. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be using it again.

Menu was not correct so i was missing a whole naan, called the place but they wouldn't/couldn't either send me one out or refund me any money. Was not able to pick naan up myself. Man i spoke to was polite and the food that I did receive tasted good.

Considering how close we were to the restaurant i do think the charges were a little high. It was very nice except for my puri that was not quite how i have had it in many indian restafurants but otherwise i very impressedC

This place continues to impress. We were given a treat by our daughter and son in law on Sunday, and we weren't disappointed. Prices had gone up of course, (everywhere has), but still very good value. The service is excellent, friendly and welcoming without being overwhelming. And the food up to the usual extremely high standard. Their onion bhaji is the best I've ever tasted. The others reported the chicken pakora to be excellent too. Why, even the poppadoms were tasty and still warm. Try this place out, it may not look much from the outside, but those in the know, they know just how good it is. We were hungry when we arrived, but I couldn't finish my chicken shaslik masala, but the waiter asked if I wanted to take it home, I did, and in seconds received a foil tray, complete with lid and a paper carrier bag (no charge).

Reasonably priced, the food was above average takeaway. We have had several meals incorrectly given as we noticed when we got home. We have ordered from Blue Tiger many times before and after and hope the 2 occasions are not be repeated.

Best takeaway of the year. And it's 29th December. Ate in here a few years ago and it was good, this takeaway tonight though even exceeded that. So impressed.

Not my first review for Blue Tiger, but, I have just had their lamb shank in a Bhuna sauce, as a take away, (you have to ask), absolutely amazing. The flavours sing, if you want it hotter ask for a hotter sauce, but, Bhuna is aromatic and gentle. Try it. Paul, Farsley.

Went in Saturday night (18:11:23)there was 6 of us we all enjoyed our meals the only thing that let the meal down was the oil that cooked the poperdoms needed changing but will definitely b going back

We ordered takeaway from here the night before moving house. They didn’t deliver all the main dishes we ordered and paid for and made a point of taking the receipt away on delivery. Make sure you check your orders carefully to make sure it’s all there. We didn’t realise on the night until it was too late so didn’t get our dish or a refund. The food itself was nice - just check carefully!

The place is full of rats can see them running about at night from behind the restaurant myself and other residents are trying to get the council to investigate but to no avail. Do yourself a favor stay away you'll get poorly.

Was taken to dinner today at The Blue Tiger.. I really enjoyed the meal. However it will never be the best Curry House in the world but then it doesn’t try to be in all fairness. The Staff are brilliant though, friendly attentive and always seemed to have a smile. The Butter chicken curry with cheese on the top was a little odd and didn’t really work for me but the rest of the party I was with loved it. All round if you eat here you won’t be disappointed. There is no alcohol on offer but you can bring your own if you want. I think I will go back, the Bhuna I had was fantastic. Well worth a visit to a hidden little gem.

Ordered a takeaway took 2 hours to arrive even though told out for delivery after an hour... clap cold when arrived contacted them 5 times no apology rubbish customer service... refused to believe us until we took the food back quicker than they delivered it before giving us money back will not return

Hands down the best takeaway in Leeds! My husband drives here from Far Headingley to collect our fix every week, because it far surpasses all of our local delivery options (quite a feat, as we are spoiled for choice in Headingley!) Our only criticism over 50+ deliveries is that the naans don't travel well and are often cold and hardened by the time we get them home. No matter; it's the perfect excuse to add samosas and bhajis instead! ;) Service is spot on too. We once accidentally ordered from the wrong branch, but didn't realise until collection. The restaurant made us our order quickly and at no extra charge (even though the mistake was ours.) Also, my daughter once 'helped' my husband to collect an order, so now the restaurant always pops a lollipop in the bag for her!

Ordered for delivery and was really disappointed. The chips were cold and brittle, the curries were watery and the dips tray didn't come with poppadoms. To say I spent over £25, It was absolutely not worth it. Having eaten in the restaurant several times, and really enjoyed it, I expected much more.

Waited nearly two hours for food to be delivered. Said if was on it’s way for over a hour. Wouldn’t order again.

One of the real hidden gems of Leeds. Top quality curry at reasonable prices. A great range of veggie and vegan dishes, all cooked expertly with real depth of flavour. My girlfriend and I aim to be regulars.

We ordered online quoted 35 mins , arrived in 35 min food ready . The food was Gorgeous , we had Lamb chops Chicken madras Mushroom rise Garlic Nan Ghapati Nice chunky chicken breast plenty enough for 2 , nice and spicy

1st time trying based on a recommendation. Loved it! It's standard curries, not trying to be something it's not, and the food is excellent. Great value for money. It's a BYO if you like a beer with your curry. You will need to book as there aresn't many tables. We'll be going back very soon.

Wasn't blown away with the food. Onion bhaji basically shredded onion deep fried in bits. Curry bland but others enjoyed theirs so maybe I'm picky.

A little gem tucked away in the middle of a Bramley estate. Their simple focus on good food clearly shows; no need to travel into Leeds or Bradford for a good curry!

The food here is absolutely amazing. Every dish we had was perfect. Great value as well.

The best curry in Yorkshire. Been to a few and blue tiger always comes out the top, reasonable priced too to other places. You won't be disappointed.
