Our new FAVOURITE Indian in Wakefield Home cooked food, fresh, tasty and definitely worth a visit. This is our third visit and we don’t usually book and have being lucky with getting a table, but as it’s starting to be on the radar of home cooked Indians I’d suggest booking first. I keep forgetting to take pictures of the food and when it lands we soon consume it haha but managed to get a picture tonight of the Dahl and the butter chicken. My favourite is lentil Dahl, my husbands is the butter chicken, both dishes are delicious. We love the bhaji, we prefer the smaller portion for just two of us, just right. Another favourite is pickle tray delicious raita and lime pickle. I would 100% give this place a BIG THUMBS UP!! We used to go to Leeds for our regular Indian nights but now we don’t need to, sorry cats pjamas Leeds.

We booked a Saturday brunch. The menu was set with an optional starter, and the food was amazing. However, the drinks were slow and lacking. We were sat for a good 10mins each time with empty glasses before we could grab a waiter to order an other. I think next time I would order off the normal menu and buy drinks separately.

Went here for bottomless brunch just over a week ago with a group of 7 friends. The food was amazing and there was lots of it. The drinks were lovely the cocktails were really nice and the staff were very very attentive we ne er had an empty glass. This is one of the best bottomless brunches I have been to. I would highly recommend this place .

Please try this fabulous, authentic street food restaurant and don’t be put off by some reviews. Simply understand that this is a small ‘street food’ restaurant serving freshly cooked and prepared food; so yes sometimes things might run out or be substituted but undoubtably you will still find an incredible meal to eat. Our experience was SUPERB. From the cosy ambience, great subtle music to the incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly staff (thank you all you were amazing) & of course the food. We tried lamb samosas, the famous onion bhajees, butter chicken, lamb madras, chicken burger plus extra accompaniments. Each dish was freshly prepared and cooked on site to order, not sauces sitting there waiting for meat to be chucked in, so food arrives at differing times, which we liked, however all mains arrived together as they should. Everything, without exception, was hot, tasty and utterly delicious. Also we thought excellent value for money. Recommend you book as on our visit the restaurant was full and it’s only small. Honestly we could not fault a single thing. Fantastic evening. Thank you all hardworking staff. We will be back as soon as possible but live on Isle of Man so could be a little while.

This is a little gem of a place. Great atmosphere, delightful service and really good food. This was our first visit and we will definitely be going back. One of our waiters was Teji who was delightful and took time to describe the amazing sweets that the adjoining premises had to offer! Highly recommended.

The food was fabulous. Particularly enjoyed the pork chops, but everything was great! I fully recommend coming here!
