Attended the restaurant for our wedding anniversary, the decor is nice and the service is friendly. Popadoms for starter was nice, then we ordered starters & main courses. The portion sizes are small and the prices are quite high. My main course prawn curry only had 5 medium sized prawns in it with minimal amount of sauce. The dishes had nice flavours but expensive for the size of the portions. We paid £76 for two starters, two mains with one rice & one naan bread & two small drinks.

Along with friends who live locally we visited this establishment for the second time last weekend. Our visit confirmed for us that lunch at the George is a real treat. The food is first class as was the service. Set in the middle of Easingwold, a lovely little town, this hotel is an example of how a restaurant should be run. Despite visiting on a busy Saturday lunchtime we felt that we were made very welcome and given ample time and attention. The restaurant area is well presented, relaxed and comfortable. The lunchtime menu suited our party, offering a good choice for us all. Perhaps most importantly the food was first class. Based on our experience I would be happy to recommend the George to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic!! The food is amazing, full of flavour and good size portions. As with everything price is so important and value for money is 10/10. We sat in to eat although you can tell they do very well with takeaway orders. Atmosphere, as you would expect on a Late October Tuesday night however the staff, Nick and Ravi made this a truly fantastic experience. Ravi was on hand for everything we needed, polite and respectful but also very open to questions, complimented by Nick who was very knowledgeable about the best alcohol drinks and how to have them. Both a huge asset to the Jaipur Spice team. Massive thank you for a great evening.

Stumbled across this little takeaway house in Great ayton, lovely service from the front desk, in my option the food was expensive, considering typical restaurants such as Jolsha for the same meals ordered and with a sit in clean accommodation is about £15 cheaper, but thank you.

Website says offers takeaway: no menu can be found online (so we ordered what we assumed they'd have) and they don't offer delivery. What was reslly disappointing is you could only pay with cash- they did not inform us of this on the phone when ordering, so we had to go to the nearest cash point (3 miles away). The food was fine, but a bit more information online would have led to a much better experience.

I was staying nearby for the night and decided to eat here . I turned up without booking on a Monday evening and although it was quite busy they found me a table. I ordered a few dishes and I must say all very good. Great service and a nice venue.

Shockingly bad service, filthy pub with tables loaded with crockery remember to wipe your feet on the way out. Won't be back. Sack the manager
