Red Chilli in Hambleton

Working late so decided to grab a lamb bunha and Nan on the way home It's the worst curry I've ever had from a takeaway/restaurant An Aldi microwave meal would have been better. At least I only did a small order and not a big family meal

Only 6 pieces of chicken rest sauce and for the vegetable korma had to hunt the vegetables maybe 7 peas and beans only definitely not vegetable just sauce again And have to but rice seperately so very expensive fir what you get

Diabolical service! I wish we could comment on the food but unfortunately we didn’t get chance as the service was near enough non existent. After booking a table we arrived and were greeted to a table for 2 in the middle of the near enough empty restaurant excluding 3 tables. A few minutes later we were then asked to move as this table was now reserved. 10 minutes in we were asked while he was looking around elsewhere what drinks we would like, we ordered and still were not given any menus. 15 minutes in we were asked again what we ordered to drink by the same person as he forgot a sparkling water and a Coke, getting a little impatient with a smile we ordered again. 20 minutes in still no drinks and no menus plus witnessed another table who were looking at their menus for over 20 minutes while we were there if they could now order. At 25 minutes still no one left the bar to come into the restaurant so we decided to leave and then all of a sudden to be told we’re busy and our drinks are ready. Well cancel them and good luck to you and your business if you can afford to let cash walk out your door because you won’t last much longer treating customers this way! We won’t be returning and suggest others save themselves the trouble.

Had to go and collect as and hour and a half late to be delivered. Was told it was on its way and a driver had left, called 20 mins later and wasn’t even ready. Waited 45 mins in the restaurant to collect. App showing as delivered at 18:40 which is extra incorrect. Eventually collected the order 2.5hrs after ordering. Will not be returning

Curry tasted good however could barely bite into the chicken it was dry and overcooked so couldn’t eat. Delivery driver was absolutely lovely though!

I attended Red Chilli to collect a telephone order. The service was efficient and very friendly and the food was amazing! I've had loads of lovely takeaways but never sat in yet - maybe next time

Arrived with no booking to a quiet restaurant on a Monday evening although busy with telephone orders. Service was great, attentive and the server was super helpful and smiley. Food arrived and on point re taste and quantity, we were so full that we ended up taking a fair bit home. No dreadful curry after taste the next morning which for me is always a sign of freshness. Will return

It was delicious because, luckily, I love tarka dall. I say luckily because I actually ordered dall sabzi (which is even more delicious). All is forgiven, I ordered very late, no doubt after a very busy day.

I was staying nearby for the night and decided to eat here . I turned up without booking on a Monday evening and although it was quite busy they found me a table. I ordered a few dishes and I must say all very good. Great service and a nice venue.

Always come here for brilliant curry experience with her ladyship I tend to have prawn biryani but new favourite is chingri palak and with a portion of saag aloo and a kingfisher beer really hits the spot ! Nice courteous service,food always nice and hot.we tend to go between 5-6pm to sit in the restaurant and park for free across the road.choc mint with the bill is always nice

Garlic Butter chicken and korma were exactly the same, once opened none of us could tell the difference. Chicken tikka masala tasted exactly the same as the other 2 but just coloured red. Garlic naans had little to no garlic on them and the vegetable rice was really oily. Very disappointing- 80% of it ended up in the bin.

Waste of your money and time they provide us with 2 days old food as the manager accepted this and zero taste and we paid 15 pound for a biryani of no taste

Always appreciate the fact that we are 20 mins drive away (I know the delivery charges suffice this fact) but the food is always hot and tastes delicious

It's okay, I wouldn't want anyone to think it's bad, it is certainly not. There was a place called Aroma here and it was far better but it's long gone now. This is the most authentic (such as it is) Bangladeshi/Indian place you'll find here. It's not bad but you'll only get the basic level of Indian flavours (don't expect anything as complex as amchoor, methi etc). Meat is way overcharged for what you get, especially mutton (lamb) and sometimes the salad portion is miniscule. But apparently most people don't bother with the salad anyway. It still offers a good, tasty Indian meal in this town (avoid the other self-proclaimed Indian, the LOA, it's dire). You won't find better than The Red Chilli in Northallerton and you will enjoy your dinner.

Our curry sounded amazing with fresh spinach, onions, cumin & fresh tomatoes. The chef must have forgotten to add the fresh tomatoes on this occasion and the chicken was incredibly tough and rubbery with little or no flavour. The starters were bang on and the naan great so we were left rather disappointed.

I have an irrational phobia of cheese. They read my note and followed it to the letter, bagging the spicy cheese (paneer) meatballs separately to everything else. It is a pretty special thing, to have a restaurateur on Just Eat actually pay attention to your note. Delicious food and great service.

Had the Sunday special banquet, and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Service was polite although a little slow due, we were told, to new staff. The room was a little lacking in character, but we were there to eat, and not for the scenery. We'd go back next time we visit the town.

£20 can buy what you can see in the picture and the food is OK, but not great. You hardly can taste anything in the curry, the gralic naan for almost £4 is just tastless. Could not find onions or mango or anything else for the poppadoms on the menu, assumed it would come with it, but had to eat it dry. Delivery is £3 from 1.1 miles. It was the first time I ordered from here, not sure if will again.

There’s is no way the food that turned up at my door would have been served in there restaurant, it was disgusting/cold and swimming in oil, not to mention the missing items

essentially waited 45 minutes for food positioning , waiter incredibly inexsprenced , after waiting for 45minutes after our starter the waiter came over and asked if we was ready for our main when we had no food infront of us btw , ordered the tikka got korma , didn't bother asking them to change it because of how long it took bare in mind this was with 3 other tables they were not busy at all , 54 pound for two mains rediculous price for the crap food won't be going again awful

I always order from here weekly but after tonight I don't think I will be ordering again I was waiting for my food and said it was delivered when it wasn't I had to call the restaurant twice and said it was on it way when it wasn't and in the end the food turned up in the end over a hour late from the time I was given and the food was cold

Terrible! Requested an update and given a new time which wasn’t met, so called back. They told me the order wasn’t even yet cooked! 90 minutes after ordering. Was told the boss would call me. Still hasn’t done so and the staff didn’t know what to do to resolve the issue. Never again

Fantastic food again....this is our 4th time using Red Chilli having Recently moved here from Manchester. Really enjoying trying a different dish each time. The flavours and textures are authentic and extremely tasty. Always friendly and informative on the phone and delivered in there time frame. Highly recommended

Excellent food Good service: attentive but not over attentive. Clean and nice ambiance though it was very cold when we arrived. This was probably because it was very quiet when we went. It did warm up. Our second visit and will go again.

Ordered from here as we were told they were from Bradford. Being from Bradford myself I was expecting that standard of a good curry but it was mediocre, small portions, lots of sauce.

The food is lovely,but ever time I’ve been I have to contest the bill with who I believe is the main waiter as he tried to over charge by £20,please check your bill !!!

We have visited the restaurant on a few occasions and the food is great the only thing I have an issue with is one of waiters on all the times we have been there has always been a problem with the bill the last occasion we had been over charged by £20,because of this I have made a decision not to visit again as I don’t like being ripped off

Nearly £20 for a small meal for one (tikka masala and naan no rice) more sauce than chicken, felt like a starter portion. Not again for me

Nothing was fresh, obviously all frozen and reheated, rice was actually crispy under between the lid and container, not happy as it is meant to be a restaurant.... all items should be renamed to "corriander and...." literally every smothered in corriander, not a light sprinkle, even the naan bread..... shame as I only went here because Lion of Asia weren't delivering.... absolute waste of money, we threw 90% away

Called and asked for more money to deliver. Opted to collect instead. A 6 minute drive

I’ve eaten here a few times now and I can wholeheartedly say it’s the best Indian food I have ever tasted. Always ready on time. The only negative thing was they forgot one portion of rice however they were so apologetic on the phone offering to deliver it asap (but I live too far away) so I asked if I could just get the rice with my next order. I’m looking forward to that!

Me and my partner are local to the area and had just nipped across the road to B&M and drove past this restaurant. In the moment we decided to have dinner out and test our chances. It was very busy but we managed to get a table and were swiftly seated/drinks provided. The poppadoms came with a lovely pickle set, my favourite was the carrot and coriander mix. The little dishes it was presented in was lovely too. For mains me and my partner has chicken tikka korma and chicken tikka masala. Again very nicely presented on a platter in metal dishes. Portions were perfect for us and we just about managed to finish it all! Delicious! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even cleaning up some spilt onions on the table from our poppadoms bless them. The food came out fairly quickly even though they were serving a large group next to us at the time, which was really impressive! The decorations inside was lovely and all in all, a lovely evening. Warm hand wipes when we finished and a tasty mint chocolate with the bill, it was all super nice! Will be back again!

Very disappointed to receive a phone call from the Red Chilli, after placing and paying for my order, telling me that I had to pay an extra £5 CASH for delivery when the order arrived to the driver. Not what I expected of Just Eat and never had before!

The mixed grill was in a bag and full of grease usually yummy so disappointing

Came here for a meal, lovely and quiet for a Friday night. Food is perfect spot on with portion sizes. Would definitely recommend. Ordered - mixed starter, chicken bhuna, garlic rice, pilau rice, special jalfrezi, x2 naans and popadoms.

Probably won't order again. Curry was very oily & poppadoms missing. Disappointing.

What can I say, a quicker service than what you’d expect at a weatherspoons but delivered to your house. From ordering to delivering took just under 12 minutes, both Curries came like water, tasteless and cold, these curries definitely needed longer in the microwave, as least at weatherspoons the food comes warm, extremely disappointed

After waiting over 30 minutes for our starter, it was really dissapointing hardly any chicken and was certainly not worth the money at all, the waiter had a very serious problem with dandruff and scurf

Called in last night for a takeaway. The chicken was as tough as old boots very disappointed I've had better ready meals from m&s not worth the £15

Ordered a takeaway through just eat which was easy to do but given a 5.50 collection time which when I got there I had to wait 10 mins which wouldn't have being a problem had the food being hot. Got it home and it was just to say warm...poor really when your sat waiting 10 mins expecting hot food..very very disappointing

Starter (mixed kebab) was nice, salad was super fresh and the pickle tray was very tasty. Chichen tikka madras was spiced just right though it was a bit too sweet and watery for my preference. Good service, waiters were very polite and attentive. Would visit again.

As last meal for us whilst here on business trip, they catered for a party of 12. No issues with this from our side at all. Staff catered to our needs and requirements. Absolutely enjoyed our meals and coconut rice was to die for.... Would love to come back again next time we visit.
