Called in for a curry without making a reservation the front of house made me welcome seated me and the wife quickly and attended our requests for drinks. The waiter was really friendly and we struck up conversation about day to day. I have eaten at the Miraj in the past and all the time they seem to be changing the decorations and making improvements and adding to the ambiance and atmosphere, making it a pleasant place to dine. The waiter bought over the menus and we chose our dishes I made a special request for my Chicken Jalfrezi to be cooked in a certain way and the wife had a korma with sides, keema nan. I can honestly say top marks to the chef it was the nicest curry I have had in a while, all presented hot and tasty washed down with a refreshing pint of cobra. The staff were polite and attentive asking how the food was and offering complimentary drinks at the end of the meal. I will definitely be going back for a meal soon and recommend this restaurant for a nice setting and meal.

Monday night, friendly helpful welcome and food cooked to perfection, all made it seem like a weekend experience

The staff are the friendliest people on the planet! We stayed in the village for a few day's and popped in for a drink, they constantly bring you food to sample, lovely naan bread, samosas etc. We did have a takeaway one night and it was delicious.

I had a meat Balti which was lovely but the look on my wife’s face told me something was wrong she Three pices of chicken in a very watery soup which didn’t Taste of anything The Pilau Rice was lovely and the popudums . My Garlic Nan was red in colour and a bit burnt in places but was ok Taste . Unfortunately my wife’s meal Chicken Balti was awful . i would have complained if we weren’t in a bit of a hurry.

I have drove past here many times but today was the first time i came to eat, and i wish i had come sooner! Inside was really nicely decorated, the service was amazing, they were so friendly! Thank you to our servers! The food was tasty, it came quick despite the restaurant being full! You can also bring your own alcohol to drink, which is a huge bonus! I am already planning on coming back next week!

Been coming here since moving to Tamworth in 2015. Going tonight as well. Food has always been great, best Indian in Tamworth, but for us its the best takeaway as well. Consistently great quality, and the owner is a great guy. Moved about 4 miles away and still visit regularly.

Ripped us off. You order and don't get food. Avoid

I had done a job for the owner of the restaurant and as a thank you he offered me free curry for delivery. We had two curry’s where the chicken tikka just fell apart and was full of flavour. The sauce was unreal. The rice was absolutely perfect and the naans were probably the best I’ve had. Every thing warmed up to perfection which don’t normally with a takeaway. Unfortunately I’m from Sutton Coldfield so it’s a bit too far for delivery over here. I think they should consider opening one over here 😜 If ever I’m passing I’ll 100% pop in. We have a curry every week here and if he was local I’d have to use him on alternative weeks if not every week as it was that good.

The menu features a great variety of traditional Indian dishes, all bursting with flavor. The lamb curry was a standout—tender and rich, especially with fresh naan. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. Ayla exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
