Best Indian restaurant I’ve been! Lovely people, great atmosphere and delicious food! Chefs and waiter are great, definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful evening at Spiceland! The two gentlemen that served us were fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious and everyone commented how lovely their dishes were. The gentleman who took our order clearly knew the menu well and was able to advise us and help us pick what we would like. The restaurant itself is lushly fitted out and very modern but with a twist, it was a brilliant environment and I would happily return. Thank you so much for looking after us, and I look forward to coming back soon!

I love Indian food for the flavour, the spice but my order had neither. Talk about bland, bland is an understatement. The lamb tasted like it was a few days old, there was nothing good about my order. First and last time I order from here.

This was not our first visit to Spiceland and it most certainly will not be our last! As usual the food was excellent as was the service. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, as is the norm for this restaurant. The Vegan menu is possibly THE BEST we've seen as there are multiple choices in all courses. Thank you for a wonderful meal and a friendly experience. We'll see you again soon.

Had a takeaway from here. First time and recommended. Lovely staff and order ready on arrival. Restaurant busy which is a good sign. Food impeccable. Highly recommend.

Oh my goodness! I'm blown away! First time using this restaurant and won't be the last. Had Tandoori King Prawns and believe me, they were huge! Fresh, tasty and hot on collection. Bombay Aloo also and Keema Naan and 2 free onion bhajis which was a nice gesture. If you're not keen on too much spice, I recommend the standard tick box. Collected at 6pm and was ready on arrival. Restaurant was busy too and a very pleasant owner and staff. 5 stars from me. Thank you. 😊 😊 delicious!!!

Had dinner tonight. 2 adults and a toddler. Food was great. Everything tasted fresh and had good flavour. Management was also very friendly

They have a separate fully vegan menu with a huge amount of choice. We had a fantastic meal, staff were very attentive, good sized portions. Resturant interior was very plush and immaculately clean. Will be our indian resturant of choice in future. Update As we are a little too far (Madeley) for a takeaway we made the mistake tonight of trying to order a takeaway more locally. Abysmal experience with two local resturants that did nothing to instill any confidence in us that the meal we got, would be fully vegan. In future I will drive to Spicelands if we want a takeaway or eat in their resturant as we know we will get what we ask for.

So where do I start ! Asked for butter chicken and it’s nothing like any butter chicken Iv had before tastes absolutely disgusting ! I asked for garlic narn and literally just got bits of raw garlic on top of a plain narn also never in my life had this :/ Not to mention it costing £25:00 worst food and service Iv ever experienced Phone service rude and not very helpful wouldn’t change our curry as we asked kindly the food was also cold and I. Will never advise to eat from this place all food got put in the bin complete waste of money and I’m now still hungry !!!!

We have been monthly patrons for about two years and have always enjoyed good service and excellent meals. However, in mid March we (four of us) came away very disappointed with the lack lustre service (the boss wasn’t in that night) and very poor curries. We all chose a different meal and the overpowering flavour in each was lemon. We didn’t say anything at the time as it was just young lads holding the fort and chalked it up to an off night. However, last night returned hoping that things had returned back to their high standards of pre March. It wasn’t to be. My Goan chicken curry written up as tamarind, coconut and showing two chilli’s arrived as six pieces of chicken and two dried chilli’s languishing in a flavour reminiscent of Campbell’s condensed tomato soup. I spoke to the boss, who on all other occasions has been friendly and efficient decided that my palette was off. When I questioned the total lack of any flavour whatsoever he stated that this was how Goan curry tasted. In regard to the two chilli rating he said I had got my two chilli’s - whether or not these were capable of passing any flavour into the food was not of interest to him. I agreed to a replacement chicken dansak, hot and sour you would expect, well it was more reminiscent of lentil soup without the bacon. I didn’t eat it and after their two strikes we will not be returning with friends and/or family again.

What a load of rubbish, food was bland keema man looked like a think pizza, £2.50 for 1 poppadom £4 for 1 roti €13 for a standard curry complete rip of. So many better places to go where the food is nice and the price is adequate,

If your after a curry house that offers good food at a reasonable price then look no further than this place. Was highly impressed on first visit last year and a second visit didn't disappoint. Booked in for a third visit in the near future.

Visited here for a birthday meal and catch up with friend. Both the service and food was amazing and can’t be faulted in any ways. Staff were super friendly. Think this is gonna be our new Indian 😁

Ordered a takeaway as heard it’s good and thought I’d try somewhere new. I had ordered chicken tikka masala and husband had lamb tikka masala. I know it’s not spicy as don’t like it hence why I order this dish every time, well to say it was bland is an understatement, I can honestly say I couldn’t taste anything, I thought I’d phone them up and say I wasn’t happy( something I wouldn’t normally do) I wasn’t funny with them or argumentative and was not even after a refund but was answered with ‘well it’s probably just not to your taste’ we’ve done over 100 masalas tonight without complaint’ . I guess I must be wrong then! No apology, nothing. Just very dismissive. I will not be giving them a second chance, not that they will care if the attitude in the phone is anything to go by.

We randomly stopped off here on the search for a curry, really glad we did. Food was really good - and the staff made our little one feel special with his own meal which was perfect.

Our favourite Indian restaurant in the area. Comprehensive menu and an excellent separate vegan menu offering excellent choices. Food finest ingredients, carefully spiced and well presented. Staff knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Excellent restaurant

Order chicken balti and it tasted like a pataks jar curry from super market with abit of fresh coriander sprinkled ontop, can’t understand why???

Overall it’s a great Indian restaurant in Telford and my only criticism, and this could be my pallete, all the dishes we tried lack a little depth of flavour. Good enough quality food and quantities just had that little taste sparkle missing

The 'mother-sauce' is prominent in all of the curries we ordered, not a great deal of distinction between them, and my Dhansak was way too hot, spice-wise. But, it was pleasant and generally the food was decent. Quite expensive.

Came her for dinner and was astounded by the great quality of food and the service that was given from all employees! Highly recommend this restaurant for people who live in Telford or visiting, suitable and caters for all!

Ordered a takeaway at 5pm and it didn’t arrive until 6:50. We called up at 6:25 and they told us ‘it is on it way, perfect timing just like we said 75 minutes’. On the email it said due to covid delivery may take up to 70 minutes. All items were cold on arrival and it took 110 minutes to arrive.

Well if you are an Indian don't expect the taste of an Indian food ..this is fully customized to satisfy the taste buds of uk ppl and not indians. Other than chilly I couldn't taste any other spices .

Fantastic experience and I say experience… the food, the customer service, the atmosphere. Made to feel welcome and cared for. Myself and Fiancé enjoyed the vegan menu, I look forward to vegan deserts being added. I would love to see some non-alcoholic beer or cider but I understand the demand may not be there.

Always use this Indian restaurant as I haven’t enjoyed others as much as here. Food is always tasty, well presented and fresh. Nas served us this evening and as always was attentive and friendly, this place is well worth a visit.

Last minute booking on a Sunday night. Great variety on the menu and when the food arrived it didn’t disappoint. We were mainly served by Nas who was attentive and courteous. Overall an excellent meal with excellent service, we will definitely be coming back.

Goan curry a delightful experience.

Had high hopes for our meal - especially as there were some decent sounding vegan options for my wife. However, the food wasn’t great. I love a biryani and sad to say the lamb was really dry.

This was the best Indian meal I've ever had! - the restaurant is clean and stylish, seating is comfortable, toilets clean and spacious, the service friendly and attentive and the (reasonably priced) food.... fresh ingredients in the home made breads, beautiful rice and thick delicious 'curry' bases with generous portion sizes - they serve a pretty good cocktail too! Been here a few times. Last visit was by far the best. Food was spot on for flavour, spice and portion size. Good attentive staff. Went early evening 6.00pm and not busy. Would recommend.

If you want great food in a really pleasant atmosphere Spiceland is the place to visit. The waiters always go that extra bit to make your visit special.

Amazing food and amazing service. The only thing I would say is parking is limited unless you wish to walk about 5 minutes away to park - didn’t both us though. Absolutely amazing balti and jalfrazi. Be back soon

Booked a table for 9 here a few weeks ago for my husbands birthday and the food was amazing as always. The staff were very helpful and friendly and helped us decorate the table for his birthday. They brought out the cake for him and even sang happy birthday which my husband hated of course. They even gave the table complimentary drinks after the meal. As always I cannot fault the food and the staff as usual were great. This is our go to curry house for takeaway and eating in and it never fails would not use anyone else the quality is always the same….amazing!! Highly recommend

Excellent, tasty food, well presented and served by friendly efficient staff. I only just managed to finish the generous portions. The lamb balti was a bit hotter than I expected but I had been asked how I wanted it - one man's medium is another chef's hot! A perennial problem. So glad that the few less good reviews didn't put me off. I would certainly go again.

First visit to dine in at the restaurant after using them previously for takeaway deliveries. We found the food to be top quality and the staff were very polite, friendly and attentive. We will certainly be visiting again.

Food always delivered promptly, and the taste of this food is sooo good. Usually tikka or tandoori chicken biryani is what we order and the flavours and fragrances that come out of these boxes are amazing. Such good value for money.

Food was fine but nothing special. Restaurant really lacked atmosphere and the music they played just bought down the mood. Service lacked personality too. Peppers in Trench literally treat you like their best friends when you dine there but this place just seemed like they wanted their table back so they could go home. Was midweek. Maybe it's better at weekends.

Probably the best Indian takeaway I've ever had. Absolutely outstanding food. Will most definitely be back!
