The best restaurants serving Indian food in Bristol, City of South West

They moved my table back half an hour a couple of days before our reservation, try when we arrived it wasn't available and we had to wait in a cramped reception space. Staff didn't seem to know what was going on. They were friendly enough but on a number of occasions when they asked how we were, they had already started moving on before we had a chance to speak. Food was good if a little on the small side for portions. They were clearly rammed and trying to squeeze as many people in as possible which does not make for a good experience, which is a shame and we didn't hang around. Just had a mains and left, in and out in less than an hour. Felt like we were a hassle for the staff otherwise we would have happily had three courses. Also, full or not, they have squeezed in as many tables as possible in there. Go for the food but not the experience or ambience

Simply superb food. Innovative take on many dishes that added a twist - this is definitely a restaurant and not a curry house.

I have now been here twice. Once for lunch and the second was for a large group dinner. The food is fantastic and the service has been amazing! You have to try the paneer. The only gripe I had was making the dinner booking. If they can just make it a little easier.

A wonderful family business with the best food in Bristol! Any request made is never ignored, dietary or spiceness!!

Top quality food, excellent range and great vegan/vegetarian options. Bring your own drinks and really vibrant enjoyable atmosphere. Staff were really friendly and helpful too, Would definitely recommend!

Precioso restaurante amable. . excelente comida y muy acogedor. Estaba fuera por trabajo por mi cuenta y estaba buscando algo para llevar de vuelta a mi hotel. Estaba mirando el menú fuera de uno de los colegas salió y me dio la bienvenida. Muy amable y logró hacerme sentir lo suficientemente cómodo consiguiendo una mesa para uno y sentada. Gran decoración y muy buen zumbido Tenía el entrante de pollo tikka y samosa chaat entrante con un naan y estaba relleno. La comida era increíble y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Sin duda recomendaría.

Wow! This Indian Restaurant is probably the best I’ve ever been to. The food was just magnificent and the service was exceptional!

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We had a lovely meal last night for my mothers birthday. Food was delicious and staff were lovely. They brought out a birthday cake and sang for my mother, and even offered her a free drink at the end. Parking, additionally, was free and right outside the restaurant. We will be back!

Really good food, but absolutely the worst customer service. They kept apologising for how bad it was then went to serve someone else, leaving me just sitting there. My main course arrived in three parts, in between them serving other people, so I was just sat there waiting for an actual complete meal. I asked for the bill FOUR times, it only arrived when I put o my coat and was going to walk out.

We had a great lunch here. Our group of six had a wide range of dishes from Idli Chat and Agni Wings to prawn Kura, chicken Thali, lamb Thali to Mysore Masala Disa (and much more). With glasses of wine, beer, sparkling water and coffee, the bill came to £146. Staff get an extra gold star for agreeably turning down the music when we asked them to.

Absolutely fantastic food and incredible staff. This has become our go-to curry house for a reason! Every visit is consistently delightful, and the warm, friendly atmosphere makes us feel right at home. The menu offers a wide variety of options, but the biryani is truly a standout dish. The rice is cooked to perfection—fluffy and fragrant, with just the right balance of spices. The flavors are rich and authentic, making it a memorable experience every time. Whether dining in or ordering takeout, the quality remains exceptional. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving a delicious, satisfying meal!

Out with friends. Easy to book. Lively atmosphere. Amazing food. Great service and value for money. What's not to like.
