I have been coming past this place for 2 years and always wanted to try it. So very glad we did. Food was excellent and the service was amazing. Well worth a visit!

Siamo stati accolti dal gentilissimo oste che, dopo averci fatto accomodare, ci ha spiegato con grande pazienza le varie portate presenti nel menù. Era la prima volta che mangiavamo in un ristorante indiano e siamo rimasti molto positivamente colpiti dalla bontà del cibo e dalla cura nella preparazione e nell'impiattamento di ogni pietanza. Consiglio assolutamente questo ristorante anche per la simpatia del titolare, cordiale e sorridente.

So you are in Bristol and wondering what to do for a meal….go to Ganesha…best Indian meal I have had in ages, and I have had a lot.!! Service was great, was recommended a dish, went with it and my god….greatness has arrived. Stop pontificating and get down here now….you won’t regret it.

This restaurant was so lovely for date night with my partner, the food was delicious and the waiters were friendly and welcoming. The mango chutney was so good we needed to order another bowl and the chicken korma was my favourite dish of the night! Will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone in the area!

Came here for a birthday meal on bank holiday Monday and was very delighted with the food received. We all had starters and mains and all of which were very delicious, in particular the chilli chicken to start. There was something to suit all spice levels so everyone was accommodated for and for the amount of food we had the price was very reasonable!

I've only ever ordered takeaway from here. Always very good and portion size is not as small as some other more expensive eatablishments. My favourite dish is the Khozi verathu chicken. Lamb madras is also good. Delivery is always very fast.

Went for dinner for 1st time on Friday, really enjoyed it, been looking for a good local curry place for a while and I will definitely go to Ganesha again. Very friendly staff and good service, recommend the biryani’s!

Sadly with decent reviews, we came away disappointed. The Cobra was flat and not child at all. We sent it back. Then to replace we had a couple of Coronas - but that was it, the entire stock of Corona was two bottles. Two between three. When you're mate is fresh of a plane from New Zealand and your catching up over a beer and curry it would have been nice to have one each. We chose badly on the food front as we all had Jalfrezis. Normally a reasonably spicy dish, but but here only has two chillies out of a possible four on the menu, so accurate on that front, but we should have chosen something else with a bit more kick. Sadly we won't be returning.

We tried accidentally for out baby believe me for next 3 days we ordered our lunch and dinner from this restaurant only Must try and thanks to Dhananjay he’s really good person to meet at there.

Very friendly server who did his best. Good was ok, but nothing to write home about. All in all an enjoyable experience, but the food as mentioned was just ok. Also, we ordered the spiciest dish, which was not spicy at all.

This was by far the most delicious Indian food in Bristol I have had! The staff are so lovely and helpful with suggestions on what to order! The food was outstanding! YUM my partner had lamb and said it was succulent and perfectly cooked. I had a veggie pannier tikka masala and was so so happy with it! We will be regulars for sure!

Ganesha serves excellent range of indian food with authentic flavours. I was impressed with the quick service. We had Chicken samosa, Andhra chilli murg, Navratan korma, masala chips and Garlic naan. The chicken curry reminded us of home- lovely experience overall.

I’ve had food at countless Indian restaurants across the country, including Michelin starred Indian restaurants, but the food at this restaurant was hands down the best Indian food I have tasted outside of my mum’s home made Indian food.

The biriani is first rate. I came on a quiet Thursday night, before an early start business trip in the morning, I was last here two or three years ago. Still unpretentious, nice service, nice people, food that is well prepared. I came back. I will come back again.

Really lovely evening at Ganesha. I had the okra masala which was delicious! The peshwari naan was particularly yummy - thin and crispy 😋 Would definitely recommend!

I did not get the food I ordered. I ordered 2 lamb dishes and got 2 chicken dishes instead. This is the second time this has happened. I don't know if they're too busy to get the basics right on a Friday night, but I will be thinking twice about which curry restaurant to choose next time.

Having lived in the area for a while, I’ve tried most of the Indian restaurants in BS3. Ganesha is definitely my favourite! Went there again last Thursday with a group of 7 of us and yet again… it didn’t disappoint! Food is delicious and fresh, arrives promptly and steaming hot! Staff are attentive and really friendly. It’s never super busy which always surprises me as it’s one of our go-to places to eat in BS3!

had a table of 12 booked which I understand is a large party. service was quite quick and drinks were out very quickly. but in regards to the food. they must up a bhuna and served a vindaloo. most curries came out luke warm and some were waiting for there rice for over 5 mins after the curries were brought out already under appropriate temperature. chips were ok but over all I'd give it a 5/10 experience. baring in mind we go for a curry on a regular basis.
