I made a mistake and ordered the wrong dish, but the server quickly noticed and offered to swap it out for me. Both options looked so tempting, I ended up trying both! The staff were incredibly thoughtful, which made the experience even better.

Had a chicken biriani takeaway, I eat Indian food quite often all around the country while working away. This was probably the worst I’ve ever had. It was very dry and the sauce that came with it was such a small amount and pretty bland. Very disappointing. My opinion is give this place a miss

Great place to get a takeaway from. Recently got dal makhni and palak paneer with a higher level of spice which the chef kindly customised on my request. Both the dishes were very well done. Definitely worth a try!

We had a meal deal for 2 inc 2 X 2 course meals plus a drink. Staff appeared friendly but when we said we preferred puppadoms and chutneys to other starters the waiter insisted we had both. We had the poppadoms and chutneys and paid £6.50 for the priveledge. It was the smallest portion of pickles ever. We both had chicken based starters which were completely tasteless. We also had chicken mains and they also despite being heavily spiced tasteless. I believe all of the chicken pieces are compressed chicken fragments and not breasts. We paid £3.50 also for a bowl of rice. Our meal deal was £29. When my wife paid the out of courtesy as much as anything she gave £5 extra not realising that a 10% service charge is included in menu prices. The total bill came to £72 for a meal deal starting at £29. At this point the waiter insisted that only 1 main course was included in the deal. This was blatantly wrong. I have contacted Ganesha since and complained and my wife has been credited back£14.95

The food was perfectly warm and the delivery driver was very kind and polite. The food is great for what you pay for and it was cooked very fresh even at a late time of ordering.

Unfortunately I wasn’t very pleased with my food. I was given a lime pickle rather than mango chutney, and no mint sauce came with the onion Bhaji’s which is usually standard from curry houses. The bhaji’s were not crispy and very oily. The Dansak I ordered was average. Not very spicy at all. Quite disappointed overall.

We ordered takeaway and got a generous discount for collecting it. The restaurant itself was really nicely decorated and smelt amazing as soon as I walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, good portion sizes and not too oily. The staff were really welcoming when I picked the order up, and by the time we got back home and served out the food it was still piping hot! Would strongly recommend!

no order delivered, as usual with restaurant deliveries that aren't tracked, driver is the owner of the restaurant and stopped for 15 seconds 100m from the address. proceeded to argue with me about the address being incorrect and waiting for "45 minutes". £70 down the drain.

Sorry but I found the onion bhaji very oily, the biryani was lumpy & the curry sauce watery. I didn't eat much of it.

The food was incredible, the curry I had was something new and delicious. The staff really is helpful and able to give the amazing suggestions on what to try next. Perfect for hungry travellers as is 15min away from the train station and open until 23h.

Walked in to a lovely warm restaurant, greeted straight and sat down. Big menu with loads of options so practically spoiled for choice Everyone here is really nice and just a good time.

I do not usually write reviews however I have received such poor service that im compelled to share my thoughts. I ordered chicken biryani and i received gosht biryani & this has happened to me twice now which is absolutely ridiculous. Can’t even rate the food as always end up receiving the wrong order with no compensation whatsoever. Highly disappointing.

Food was nice but not great. They did have a excellent list of options but everything did feel quite expensive, especially with a 10% service charge. Wish you'd either make it discretionary or just increase every item on the menu by 10% in price; this would be the exact same but you'd be able to more accurately see the cost of your meal then. Service was fine but nothing special. I do love supporting independants but with a 20% discount if you order online then it'd be better value to do this next time.

Ganesha manager Dan was amazing - he took an order 3 days before, by email and delivered our dinner to our workplace in Bristol himself. Absolutely delicious food, great value, great service!

We must have eaten somewhere different to the 5* reviewers. For example, dried chillies (rather then fresh), slimy sliced mushrooms (maybe tinned?), rubbery chicken are not our definition of good cooking. The chicken tikka, served as a full portion not a starter, was the worst ever in both taste and appearance - it was served as a plate of spongey meat with a few shreds of lettuce and 3 small slices of cucumber. Tried other restaurants but couldn't get a table so we were surprised to be the only diners here. Not surprised now. Also, what is the justification for a 10% service charge - as it's not a self service restaurant there is no other option so it just adds 10% to the advertised prices.

We visited Ganesha last night the food was so delicious and test fresh . The restaurant is done very traditional way juts the way you would find in India very ladies back with vibrant colours. Service is super fast and very friendly as well . Lots of different option on the menu to choose from will definitely back for more

Came here on a whim from other reviews and it did not disappoint! I went with the kozhi varutha curry...wot a dish. It has a slow build of heat and wonderful flavor. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Do not pass this place up...make it a stop!

Just got a delivery directly from Ganesha. Quicker delivery than expected, with friendly service. Really good flavour, especially the lamb Sagwala- very succulent. Food came very hot. Naans were tasty and big. Looking forward to dine in in the future.

Lovely, family owned business that deserves more attention! Simply delicious, authentic, Indian cuisine. I have been a customer for nearly ten years now because I just think it’s there food is the best. There pashweri nan bread is out of this world good, along with any of there unique curry’s. 👌

One of the few Indian take aways in Bristol that I can trust anything in the menu... no added sugar in dishes to make them sweet and "desirable". Always on time or earlier with delivery. It worth ordering from their site, rather than usual common online services.
