Sorry but I found the onion bhaji very oily, the biryani was lumpy & the curry sauce watery. I didn't eat much of it.

Walked in to a lovely warm restaurant, greeted straight and sat down. Big menu with loads of options so practically spoiled for choice Everyone here is really nice and just a good time.

The food was incredible, the curry I had was something new and delicious. The staff really is helpful and able to give the amazing suggestions on what to try next. Perfect for hungry travellers as is 15min away from the train station and open until 23h.

Love these guys and their food. Best vegetarian curry dishes around in the area, not just frozen veg in sauce like some places. Good value, good delivery, great menu.

I do not usually write reviews however I have received such poor service that im compelled to share my thoughts. I ordered chicken biryani and i received gosht biryani & this has happened to me twice now which is absolutely ridiculous. Can’t even rate the food as always end up receiving the wrong order with no compensation whatsoever. Highly disappointing.

Food was nice but not great. They did have a excellent list of options but everything did feel quite expensive, especially with a 10% service charge. Wish you'd either make it discretionary or just increase every item on the menu by 10% in price; this would be the exact same but you'd be able to more accurately see the cost of your meal then. Service was fine but nothing special. I do love supporting independants but with a 20% discount if you order online then it'd be better value to do this next time.

Been here before but not for a while, but as excellent as I remembered it. Food was so tasty and spiced just as I would have wanted/expected. Service excellent and reasonable prices.

Ganesha manager Dan was amazing - he took an order 3 days before, by email and delivered our dinner to our workplace in Bristol himself. Absolutely delicious food, great value, great service!

We must have eaten somewhere different to the 5* reviewers. For example, dried chillies (rather then fresh), slimy sliced mushrooms (maybe tinned?), rubbery chicken are not our definition of good cooking. The chicken tikka, served as a full portion not a starter, was the worst ever in both taste and appearance - it was served as a plate of spongey meat with a few shreds of lettuce and 3 small slices of cucumber. Tried other restaurants but couldn't get a table so we were surprised to be the only diners here. Not surprised now. Also, what is the justification for a 10% service charge - as it's not a self service restaurant there is no other option so it just adds 10% to the advertised prices.

Came here on a whim from other reviews and it did not disappoint! I went with the kozhi varutha curry...wot a dish. It has a slow build of heat and wonderful flavor. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Do not pass this place up...make it a stop!

We visited Ganesha last night the food was so delicious and test fresh . The restaurant is done very traditional way juts the way you would find in India very ladies back with vibrant colours. Service is super fast and very friendly as well . Lots of different option on the menu to choose from will definitely back for more

Just got a delivery directly from Ganesha. Quicker delivery than expected, with friendly service. Really good flavour, especially the lamb Sagwala- very succulent. Food came very hot. Naans were tasty and big. Looking forward to dine in in the future.

Lovely, family owned business that deserves more attention! Simply delicious, authentic, Indian cuisine. I have been a customer for nearly ten years now because I just think it’s there food is the best. There pashweri nan bread is out of this world good, along with any of there unique curry’s. 👌

One of the few Indian take aways in Bristol that I can trust anything in the menu... no added sugar in dishes to make them sweet and "desirable". Always on time or earlier with delivery. It worth ordering from their site, rather than usual common online services.

Siamo stati accolti dal gentilissimo oste che, dopo averci fatto accomodare, ci ha spiegato con grande pazienza le varie portate presenti nel menù. Era la prima volta che mangiavamo in un ristorante indiano e siamo rimasti molto positivamente colpiti dalla bontà del cibo e dalla cura nella preparazione e nell'impiattamento di ogni pietanza. Consiglio assolutamente questo ristorante anche per la simpatia del titolare, cordiale e sorridente.

So you are in Bristol and wondering what to do for a meal….go to Ganesha…best Indian meal I have had in ages, and I have had a lot.!! Service was great, was recommended a dish, went with it and my god….greatness has arrived. Stop pontificating and get down here now….you won’t regret it.

This restaurant was so lovely for date night with my partner, the food was delicious and the waiters were friendly and welcoming. The mango chutney was so good we needed to order another bowl and the chicken korma was my favourite dish of the night! Will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone in the area!

Came here for a birthday meal on bank holiday Monday and was very delighted with the food received. We all had starters and mains and all of which were very delicious, in particular the chilli chicken to start. There was something to suit all spice levels so everyone was accommodated for and for the amount of food we had the price was very reasonable!

I've only ever ordered takeaway from here. Always very good and portion size is not as small as some other more expensive eatablishments. My favourite dish is the Khozi verathu chicken. Lamb madras is also good. Delivery is always very fast.
