The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wokingham South East

The food is authentic and an”real Indian” cuisine. The owner has heart. The food seems to be better meat quality. No runny sauces and excess water and tender long cooked lamb.

Came on a Sunday lunch for the all you can eat menu. The food was really great, especially the tandoori chicken wings!

Not sure what has happened to this place, which used to be the best Indian restaurant in Wokingham. The food is average at best, and the service is not what it once was. Really sad and disappointing.

100% authentic Indian Bengali food. Lovely owners who have made it their mission to provide authentic Kolkata / Bangla cuisine. Must try dishes - Mutton Kosha Mutton chop Bengali Pulao Fish fry Koraishutir Kochuri Bhetki Paturi Bhapa Ilish Tomato Chutney Mishti Doi Can’t go wrong with any of these! All brilliant!!!

Was there as a large group in a business setting. We had the banquet which was all delicious would recommend. Good service and atmosphere

New Years Eve meal with friends, very disappointed, the food is normally really good. The chicken was dry and curry sauce like water, we asked for more sauce, this never arrived, no flavour and also not good customer service, will not return, I know it was busy but not an excuse, the food has gone downhill.

Seriously disappointed. After months having good takeaway we tried their “set menu”. Firstly, the price charged was different to the price shown on their menu, we ordered popadoms, they also brought out a pickle tray and charged £4 for it without saying anything. They charge us for 2 children, only 1 was eating (they did refund this when challenged) and the worst part, when we said we will take away what wasn’t eaten they said - oh no you can’t do that on a set menu, cleared the table and threw it away! Food, I have paid for, they refused the right to take it away. I will no longer order takeaways from here as a result of their attitude. Check you bill, you will be overcharged.

Viejo pollo cocido, popodoms rancios. Muy mala calidad. Nunca volveré a usar este restaurante. Fue genial hace unos años.

Went here for Valentine’s Day, it was decorated lovely, the food was incredible and the staff were lovely - we couldn’t have asked for more

Boshaki is an excellent Indian restaurant with equally good service. The food is very tasty and not only extremely good value, but served by very attentive and accommodating staff. Our preferred Indian cuisine in Wokingham.

We ordered a Keralan Fish Curry and a Rogan Josh. Bothe tasted much the same - bland. Not an experience we would wish to repeat.
