Delivery was estimated at 50mins so opted for collection in 20mins. Didn't leave until the app said it was ready to collect. Arrived and was asked to take a seat. After 30 minutes I was given a free beer and after another 30 minutes I finally got my order. I basically sat in the drafty entryway to the restaurant for an hour and watched 5 or 6 other customers come in after me and leave with their order. Food wasn't even that hot. A baffling and frustrating experience not to be repeated.

We've visited Miah's various times over the years. Every time the owner and the staff have been exceptionally kind and welcoming. They are attentive without making you feel rushed, and are pleasant and helpful with recommendations. The menu is extensive, one of the only places with veg korma listed which I love, and the onion bhaji and peshwari naan were super tasty. The korma is one of my favourites I've found in 20 years.

It took over an hour and a half to be delivered and we’re less than 2 miles away.. I also got a notification 1hr 25 mins before that to say it was out for delivery… (I hope it wasn’t) just annoying really! Food was ok but it feels like it would be quite good if it didn’t take so long

Wow. Ash answered the phone and was amazing. So friendly and offered brilliant service. I have had take away a few times and never disappoint. Meat or prawns ordered are fresh ample not stingy and good quality which I appreciate as only eat top quality produce myself. Hubby came here with colleagues a couple of weeks back & suggested a family night out here. Food was very good, tasty & seemingly cooked to order. We really enjoyed the poppadoms & chutneys as they had something different on offer than every other Indian restaurant. All in all, albeit a very quiet night, a lovely meal!

Lamb Biryani was good. Chilli chicken Tikka masala was exceptionally hot with far too much chilli. I can cope with very hot but this was incredibly hot for those of us used to chilli.

i called the restaurant twice once as no food but just eat said it was here! at finally at 8.45 the driver came

Arrived on time to collect our takeaway only to be told that the chief had just got in and that the food wouldn’t be ready. Food was finally ready, wasn’t offered anything for the delay. Got home to find we were missing food and one of the Naan’s hadn’t been cooked properly.

Ordered at 5.10pm was given a delivery slot of 6.10-6.30 and it eventually arrived at 7pm. Food was hot and tasty but let down by being late.

Excellent quality food, hot curry really packed some heat, great side dishes. Would highly recommend!

Order took 2 hours to arrive from time of order and when the food finally arrived it wasn't hot

Food came and wasn't even edible, the containers the food came in was squashed so all mixed into 1. Poppadoms all crushed. Rang to complain and they sent another order put an hour later and we had exactly the same again. No refund and wasn't able to eat the food!

Food came on time but was still over an hour for delivery and was lukewarm at best. Flavour wise food tasted very nice but the chicken korma only had 3 chuncks of chicken in it and the lamb buna had very small pieces of diced lamb and the container was only half full. Ordered a few other items bhaji, rice, poppadom ect but didnt receive any free mint yoghurt or extra poppadom. Considering this was a 30 pound order all other indian resteraunts in our area would at least give you a free salad to accompany your meal. All in all i do not think we will order from Miahs again.

Even though our food was late, the restaurant were extremely helpful, apologetic and even gave us a free drink to apologise. We have dined in this restaurant before but never take away. It was just as nice and piping hot! Definitely be using again

Where do I start, ok let's start with food it was ok. What was not ok was being insulted when I was collecting my food. So when I arrived which was 5mins earlier than collection time there was a group of 2 Asian ladies and a man they where both offered complimentary drinks which he voiced loud enough so I could hear. He then offered them a seat in rhe empty restaurant. He then asked me to sit with no complimentary drink to which I thought ok fair enough maybe they are familiar with the previous group. Then another gentleman came in waiting for his order to which they insisted this gentleman took a complimentary drink which then I thought ok a bit strange but could maybe be another friend. Then I heard the gentleman say I'm not from here just heard about this place from friends so thought I would place an order. When the gentleman's order came round I kinda understood the complimentary drink as was rather a large order. Anyway 20mins later so 15mins after the collection time 2 bags of food where placed on the counter he called the again group up ro which he handed them chocolates and all sorts of complimentary stuff as a thank you and talked to them for several moments while my food on rhe side was getting cold. He then gave me my food and bluntly said sorry foe the wait. Now I ordered more than the Asian group so why everyone was offered complimentary stuff and I wasn't is purely down to me arriving in shorts and a jumper and didn't look particularly smart. I'm sorry I came for a takeaway in my relaxed house clothes. Now I wouldn't have thought to much about this but as I know I'm part of a shift team who often comes to get food from here and rhe ladies often get gifted with bottles of wines etc bur we are generally smart so I basically got stereotyped due to my clothing. Thays ok cauaw the next time our night shift teams suggest this place know I will be suggesting other takeaways after the way I was treated tonight.

Absolutely GORGEOUS FOOD! Having recently moved from Ascot to Burghfield Common, I was spoilt for choice in Ascot and was apprehensive about alternative Asian restaurants. This place might be my replacement go-to restaurant.

Great food but only two points: 1. You delivered it half an hour early before the whole family was home, had to keep food in the oven to keep it warm. 2. We got meat samosas when we ordered veggie.

Really disappointed, used to be regulars years ago in the restaurant so thought I would try a delivery and a totally waste of money , the lamb was chewy and I got good strong teeth the food was all cold , the chicken had like black stuff in the middle of it the Bombay aloo was bland the only thing I ate was the salad , definitely would not order from here again sadly .

As a regular, the food is consistently great but its disappointing how late my order arrived tonight and it wasn't piping hot either. Such a shame.

Food was ordered at 6pm. Delivery stated 19:00-19:20. Food arrived at 19:45. An hour and 45 mins is unacceptable. The food was freezing cold and the mint yoghurt was congealed and smelled off. Extremely unhappy! Won’t be ordering again.

Naan was good, korma was OK but cold. Biriyani was not Biriyani it was just plain rice with turmeric in it. The complimentary veg had more flavours than the rest of the food.Overall ok.

Terrible service, don't waste your time and money with these jokers. Accepted order said would take 1 hour, marked as delivered after 1 hour, didn't answer phone then turned up 3.5 hours later.

Currently sat in the restaurant after having waited just under hours with no show. They’ve taken the phone off the hook which is why i ended up driving down. Every other person collecting food is moaning about waiting around two hours. The restaurants only half full as well. Such a shame because their food is usually good. The offer a free cobra don’t make up for a spoilt night! Will try elsewhere next time…. Glad i waited u till posting just got home and the orders wrong. You cant make this up.

My ordered has been changed to delivered at 19.05 after me calling the restaurant they asked me for another 20mins when already 1hr late and still no delivery what is happening

My order was due between 18.55 and 19.15 I called the restaurant at 19.45 to be told we are busy it will be with you shortly rang again at 20.15 to be told again we are busy Rang again at 20.45 and finally they rang there driver who was 2 mins away. When he arrived he said they had messed up at the shop. The food was Luke warm and best. All in all a terrible service that I believe should be refunded due to a serious lack of service from the restaurant and the food having to be reheated. Also the driving clearly stating they had messed up.

The food has arrived cold, 45 minutes late, called miahs who told us it’s not their fault and to call just eat what a joke, it’s now 9pm and we’ve no decent takeaway 🤬 won’t be ordering from just eat or miahs again 🤬🤬

Must of had a western when we ordered as the person on the phone asked me to bear with him as ‘everyone was calling and kicking off over late deliveries’ Once delivered (2 hours late at 2130) 10 mins later someone else’s order came to our house to from the same restaurant! Food was good but shocking service

When I say 20mins I mean after I ordered at 1845 and got it 2015 and I'm 0.3 miles away, this would not bother me, I can appreciate its a Friday however the rudeness I was met with when I called to enquire and the luke warm food I eventually received was about as frosty as the reception when calling in.

Balti was ok not up to the usual standards Indian bread was so greasy. It’s usually our favourite place but today was disappointing I normally give the two strike rule so will try again ( everyone can have a bad day) but if the standard doesn’t improve I won’t order from them again Come on Miahs your better than this

Food was late by just over 1hr , tried to call restaurant with no joy so drove there to see where food was and owner had taken phones off hook. No offer of anything to compensate for bad service. Informed this is regular for them

Received confirmation that the order was ready for collection. When I arrived I was told they would check in the kitchen. They then started to cook the food while I waited, for 25 minutes! Why did they tell me it was ready when I could have happily stayed at home until it was actually ready?

What an awful experience. My order took 2 1/4 hours to arrive. I initially rang at 60 minutes to be told “I’ve spoken to the driver and it will be 6-8 minutes”. I rang again 40 minutes later to be told exactly the same thing and that they only had 1 driver and we’re really busy… Food arrived at the 2 1/2 hour mark. This wasn’t the end if the unfortunate saga. Had missing items and the food had been so poorly packed that not 1 but BOTH the curry dishes had burst open and gotten everything covered in Chicken Tikka Masala. The rice was also cold (didn’t want to reheat that as it’s dangerous). Not sure much else could have gone wrong! I have eaten there before and had an ok meal, but this time unfortunately it’s a 1/10.
