Whilst this business is new and developing our dinner was a huge success. There were 19 of us and spirits were high. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We were waited on beautifully, no one was left without food or drink. There is a very high chance of a return visit. I believe they plan to decorate to give the place a bit more atmosphere which will be good. Nice to be treated so well.

Habibs was amazing; it is such a shame it's closed down now. They should be proud of the food they were making.

We booked a table on a Sunday evening, wanting to do the ‘Sunday Banquet’. When shown to our table we were told this offer wasn’t on due to the festive period meaning they were short staffed. Weren’t told this on booking and didn’t believe the excuse - just profiteering at Xmas. We were very annoyed at the service, it felt like an instruction had been given to rush diners so the table could be reallocated - profiteering again. We were seated and given a drinks menu. We had just opened them when another staff member came for our drinks order. We asked for 5 mins, during that time 2 other staff members asked again. So much for being short staffed! Then, as soon as we had ordered our drinks we were being pestered for our food order. We ordered poppadom and firmly explained we would order our mains after those. 3 other people asked us for our order while we were eating those. Then there were many attempts at upselling. The food was hot, tasty and arrived quickly. Didn’t really like the asterisk on many mains - with its explanation hidden on another page - contains E food colourings. Not the relaxing meal we had hoped for and won’t be back.

The food and service is utterly disgusting. We booked in for the 30th September. However, when we arrived we were told that our table was given to someone else and that we'd have to wait another 10 mins. 10 minutes passed and we were told another 15 minutes. If it wasn't a birthday meal we would've left and gone to the Shaan Restaurant. When we sat down, we asked questions about some dishes on the menu only to be responded back with, "you're white, stick to the mild dishes". I was gob smacked with the waiter. I requested for the manger but the waiter had already stormed off muttering "honky" under his breathe. Disgusting and racist. I got up and immediately left with my family. Never again.

Visited Chipping Norton for the weekend, ordered a collection an hour before, arrived and still had to wait another half hour. Got back to our accommodation and they had forgotten a dish. Food was watery and not good. Poor service and poor food quality. Do not use.

Visited the newly opened buffet. Wasn’t very appealing, like a cheap cafe with poorly laid out buffet section at front of restaurant. Selection of starters bland and not very appealing. Curries were okay, nothing really very flavoursome. Desserts hidden at back, icecream we were told, didn’t try them. Can BYO drink, with soft drinks included in price of buffet. Music playing was too loud and quite irritating, couldn’t hear each other speak. Fine if you want to gorge on curry cheaply.

Never again! Our starters were average, the ‘butterfly prawn’ was mostly bread crumb and very little prawn and extremely dry. The chicken Shashlick was cooked to almost sawdust, dry and tough and inedible. Why do you get a punnet of salad? It is neither in keeping or in this case edible.
