Had the best Indian meal ever the quality was to die for could not fault any of it, staff were very friendly and the owner was brilliant and the restaurant was spotless we were there for a wedding can only say a very big thank you to all the staff there

Been coming here for years and the food & service throughout has been incredible! I have coeliac disease so can’t have any trace of gluten, and staff have always been very understanding and reassuring. When ordering to take out, they will label the dishes as specifically gluten free which is really helpful and reassuring! It’s great to see them take allergies so seriously- and the food is absolutely delicious! All my family and I would agree it’s the best Indian food, it’s our go-to take out and I can’t imagine this changing! It makes such a difference to be able to eat out and know that they’ve put effort into keeping it gluten free. Staff have always been exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the restaurant itself is lovely! Thank you 😊

Food was ready for collection at the predicted time given on the Just Eat app. Everything was delicious and the staff were friendly. We'll be back!

What a gem! Superb food brought to us by a delightful team. Couldn't fault it! Well done. We discovered the place (hidden by ivy) because of the coffee cat outside in the morning - and the coffee was also excellent.

Ok Indian restaurant in Eynsham. Nice location. Fairly typical menu choices, pick your curry then pick your meat/fish/veg. Onion baji starter was disappointing, probably bought in in bulk rather than made in the small kitchen. Nice poppadoms but disappointing selection of pickles and small quantity too share between the group of us. Doesn't anywhere do lime pickle any more? And is it always mango jam rather than mango pickle now? Main courses were satisfying but not electrifying. If I lived locally I might go again. With a bit of attention to the details it could attract me back.

First visit, but definately NOT the last! Friendly welcome, polite and helpful staff. Ordered takeaway for Mums 80th Birthday treat, enjoyed a drink whilst waiting, extremely clean and a relaxing zone. Biryiani’s were full of tender lamb and chicken, Jalfrezi was nice and hot. This Eynsham restaurant is a win win - beautiful food whilst supporting a local business. Amazing 😀

The food is awesome. Salmon tandoori, chicken tikka, and a simple aloo cauliflower and potato - the flavours were delicious. I don’t often leave reviews but it impressed me a lot. I’m definitely coming back. Again and again (and again!) !

Enjoyed our meal here. Bring your own booze which makes drinking cheaper! The service is good and there are a lot of different curries to choose from. Would recommend.

Had a surprise birthday meal here today. I could not fault the food or service in any way. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was amazing as were the staff. There were several children in the group and they were happy to accommodate their needs. Definitely recommend 👌

Absolutely best curry in Oxfordshire !! We attended for a birthday dinner and we could not have been looked after any better. From start to finish, service was prompt and always with a smile. We had an array of starters & mains, including madras which was just so full of flavour, spicy but not so much it’s burns your mouth ! I can’t fault anything, value for money is incredible and cannot be overlooked. we cannot wait to come back. The children also demolished everything so that says alot! Thanks so much for your fantastic customer service and excellent food.

Great takeaway. Very fresh, good portion size and quick to deliver. I have had lots of takeways from curry houses around west oxford and this is by far my favourite in the aea.

Food tasted ok. Curry dish mains were all just about warm....all sides arrived cold. No raita or salad provided with the order of samosas which is given with every restaurant usually.

It was so good and worth the drive. Too busy enjoying the food to take photos. Defo worth a visit.

Really nice authentic Indian food , went with a party of 16 and we all very much enjoyed the food and impeccable service , very nice setting and spotlessly clean . Will definitely be eating there again . As a bit of an Indian food fan I would say its one of the best indian meals I've had for a long time .

This was our first time here recommended highly by my son and daughter in law. We booked a table for 9 for a family meal. The staff were so lovely and really attentive. The food was delicious and plenty of it would definitely visit again. Only criticism is it was a bit cold in there but that didn’t have an impact on the evening. Great coffee, smooth and well made with a good variety of drinks and baked treats. Excellent street food as well, the samosas and byriani are delicious! A friendly, laid back place with a good local vibe.

Went with a group of friends after receiving a recommendation from a colleague. Very extensive menu with some items which were new to me. Attentive friendly service which allowed us to request individual heat/chilli levels as enjoyed by each diner. Very generous portions all of which came as we had requested from the mild to the obscenely hot as enjoyed by the wife and 2 friends. Well worth a visit.

Placed an order and paid. The food never came. We even called the restaurant multiple times with no success and waited almost 2 hours. Staff was unfriendly with no solutions offered. Had to discuss with Uber for the refund. Never again.

Arranged for a takeaway to be delivered to the caravan park area at Babcock Hythe. Driver Karin is an asset to the business and I can’t thank him enough for going out of his way to help me out. Looking forward to dining in when we make our way back from Lechlade

Was a Sunday evening and the place was not crowded, the service was super fast and the food really good, also they have a parking for the restaurant. recommended

We dined at this restaurant and found it to be a very nice eatery offering a good choice of meals. More than just a typical Indian restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and welcoming. The meals were great, well cooked and exactly what we were expecting. My only criticism would be that they did not offer any draft beers. Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes Would I eat there again? Yes.

Very flavoursome and generous serves. We had chicken balti, lamb menthi and vegetable saag. Very filling after a heaped bowl of pappadoms with chutneys. Even though the staff are non-drinkers, they have a good wine list. Complementary chocolate at the end.

I went to Ready Steady Spice in Eynsham with a group of friends and my goodness what a lovely little find. We were greeted and taken to our table, the owner came over and introduced himself and gave us a brief history of the building and the business which was both interesting and very welcoming. His daughter, I forget her name, was a fantastic hostess and went through the menu and recommended dishes according to our tastes. The food was very good. well presented and absolutely delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this divine restaurant and you can take your own alcohol. 100% FAB-U-LOUS

Very disappointed of the lack of professionalism.. ordered online and only after you pay they tell you the delivery times.. called immediately to cancel as it was going to be too late for the children and they convinced us the food will be with us at the agreed time.. it obviously didn't arrive for another 1/2 hr after the agreed time.

Great flavoursome food. Taking your own drinks is good idea and they supply the glasses. Had a fairly hot prawn madras.

Amazing food, ordered a takeaway which was ready on time, hot, fresh and delicious. Prawns were so juicy and madras sauce spicy and zingy. Highly recommended!

We were on holiday in this village and had to have take out as little ones in bed. Everyone agreed what they ordered was very tasty. They were ready with our order when we asked for it to be, the staff were very friendly and everything was still hot. It was a big order and nothing was missing. Shame we didn't get to eat in it looked nice inside and the food wasn't as "spicy hot" as we have at home, but exceedingly nice

OMG - Just ordered from this place for the first time and all 4 of us over the moon. The food is delicious - and I would personally recommend the Nimbu from the specials - best dish I have ever had from an Indian take away. Will be booking a table to eat in soon

We had a very good meal at RSS in Eynsham. A class above! Friendly service and comfortable environment. We noticed that all the extras were better than usual, like the relish, the lemon rice, etc. The dishes were superb and the salmon tandoori was a highlight.

Wow... My usual takeaway was closed for some reason? So thought I'd try something new. Everything was perfect even arrived super fast. Only problem was my own fault as I ordered too much. Didn't realize portions were so generous. Highly recommend flavors amazing and pudding I got earlier will have to wait till tomorrow.

We're staying just outside Eynsham and thought we'd try the local Indian Restaurant.The young woman who welcomed us and took our order was very friendly.Our food was delicious, it tasted fresh, the plates were nice and hot. The best korahi I've ever had.There was a mix up on the order and they quickly rectified it at no extra charge.If we ever stay locally again we will definitely re-visit

First time ordering from this place, currently fishing at linear and they brought it directly to the nearest car park for me. We ordered a takeaway at a busy time, and it was delicious. We had a jalfrezi, a dhal, sag aloo, a mixed starter and a couple of others. All tasty and full of flavour.

Arrived bashed up with the lid off main. Zero flavour to the main dish. I don't understand how an Indian can be flavourless?! Even bread has more flavour. Wouldnt use again. Wish I'd seen the previous reviews.

We chose this restaurant on a whim due to the numerous good reviews and also being hungry after a long walk. Unfortunately it was mediocre food and had zero atmosphere. The poppodums they offer when you first arrive are £1.50 per person - something they forget to mention. We ordered 2 vegetarian side dishes, a biriani, rice, garlic naan and a lamb curry. We specifically asked the waiter if the lamb curry was spicy hot as we didn’t want a hot curry. The waiter confirmed it wasn’t hot at all - the lamb curry arrived extremely hot. The lamb was tough and dry. The vegetarian dishes were disappointing, the daal overcooked with a thick skin and the aloo gobi with vegetables such as courgette, carrot, broccoli and pumpkin.. the biriani was dry and lacking flavour. The garlic naan we ordered was burnt and had no garlic. Not sure if the standards are extremely low in this area but this restaurant was not worthy of 4.5 stars as others have rated it. We’ve had tastier curries from Waitrose.

We have had take-away from Ready Steady Spice for the past 2 weekends and both were excellent. Food quality left nothing to be desired, and we would not hesitate to recommend them as one of the best !

Chicken tikka masala very bland and didn’t taste of anything. Pilau rice was a little hard and cold. This is the second bad meal, we won’t be trying again.

These guys aren't licensed for alcohol and so you simply take your own, which of course saves you lots of money!! They have a really good menu, lots of what you'd expect and some great specials. Nice family atmosphere from the staff too.

Ordered online and were pleasantly surprised by our meal. King prawn puri was spicy but not hot, enjoyed by my wife. The jalfrezi had a real heat to it, great, too many restaurants seem to pull their punches.

Fantastic great tasting food, had a traditional taste rather than the commercial you get from most restaurants. The staff made us feel very welcomed and we recieved great service. To top it of the children loved it also as their empty plates showed. Will definatley be visiting again. Thank You
