When trying to order food the person I spoke to was unnecessarily rude at multiple points would expect a year 4 to have better manners.

The food tasted a little off. Popadoms were a littl soggy. No pickle, but loads of mint sauce?

Come here occasionally and the experience is nearly always a good one. The food was good. Nicely spiced and portions were good. Service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming.

Although slightly late delivery it wasn't an issue. Food was hot and very good.

We ordered a chicken pasanda and a korma both were tasteless and very watery the pasanda had 3 pieces of chicken in it the rice and nann bread were all cold, not a nice experience.

We ordered lamb makhani, a paneer curry and some other dishes. Totally lacking in flavour and taste and very disappointing. The makhani was certainly not a makhani, much more like korma. Too sweet and a poor experience.

As a regular customer delivery time & food quality is always excellent but today I didn’t enjoy my curry, the king prawns were so chewy and had no taste, the peppers tasted watery and I left all of my meal unfortunately.

really disappointed with this one, ordered many times before and was lovely but this time wasn't right. Tikka masala was packed with loads of coconut and spoiled the taste and texture. hopefully it was a one off

Have ordered from here many times but on this occasion it was not as tasty as before, sauce seemed a bit watery and lacking ingredients. Nan was a bit burnt.

Very polite delivery man, arrived on time. Unfortunately on the colder side of warm & naan burnt & missing the some bits due to this. Usually much better than this evenings.

It’s going to say I have 3 stars. I didn’t. I gave delivery 3 stars. I give the food 1 star…. I ordered here a few months back and was disappointed then. I gave it another shot thinking it might have been an off night. Nope, still bad. Such a shame as I used to love this place but the quality has gone to pot. My chicken Tikka “sauce” was abysmal… both times has been basically WATER! It’s SO WATERY!!!! Used to be so thick & tasteful. It’s now just water and doesn’t taste of anything!!!!

Driver was very rude and I could count the amount of chicken pieces I had on one hand. A real shame as usually it’s so lovely.

Food not very hot, lukewarm. It was an early order 6.00 p.m. so shouldn't have been sitting around. First time we've been disappointed with Bayleaf.

This restaurant is a really nice restaurant that serves great Indian food. It has a great buffet on a Sunday where you can try out a range of different curries and lots of other different Indian food to try. They also have a set menu for the rest of the week when you can get an Indian meal. The only reason why I am giving 4 stars and not 5 is because one of the staff was not very friendly, which was annoying as we enjoyed the rest of the meal so much. Overall though, this is a really nice Indian restaurant where you can get a range of different Indian food.

Ordered to the wrong place some glitch in your system nothing to do with the bayleaf

The tikka main was not good, burnt chicken and old reheated lamb. How do I request a refund?

Disappointing. We tried this place since our favourite Habib's kitchen closed and it was very expensive and the quality was poor. The tastes were not authentic and the sauces were watery. Not going to order again.

Very very poor Balti. This is not cooked in the traditional way. Which was confirmed by the restaurant when questioning the taste. It tasted heavily of Garam Masala and the customer service wasn't much better. I wouldn't order from here again. If your a traditional balti lover then I wouldn't recommend.

We have been using the bayleaf for several years now and i have to say the last few times we have had food from there, it has been disappointing. Very bland and tasteless. Especially as it's not cheap.

The delivery driver was so nice and friendly and the food came early and was lovely as usual. Woukd really recommend

Went one evening with family for a sit down meal , got greeted by 3 member of staff at the door , one whom was ready to seat us , one member of staff or glared at us disgustingly. Lived in this village for over 50 years and never got treated and looked down upon... probably not as upper class at they wanted, but they shouldn't be too fussy after only having one table sat down! After asking the guy if he was feeling OK due to his glares,words and manners we left and ate at ready steady spice in the village. Must yummiest food and even though we spent a lot was still cheaper than here, whom staff and mannerisms were delightful! Would never come back here, think management unless they were need to reconsider there customer skills- vile attitude ....

food arrived nice and quick but the food was terrible. the rice was soggy and not cooked properly and the chicken appeared to be slightly pink and not properly cooked.

3 prawns in a king prawn tikka masala for £15 is poor. Also a burnt spicy popadom is not really good enough when you only order 1!

Good quality food, fast delivery, friendly staff. Only thing I’m a little disappointed in tonight is they put in 5 tiny pieces of chicken in my chicken tikka meal. Usually they are very generous with the chicken, this time I was shocked. Chicken was gone so so quick. Maybe more chicken next time please. Thank you

Chicken was tough. Keema Nan was small (not for sharing) & hardly any filling. Samosas expensive seeing as it was 2 small ones. Very disappointed.

I’ve been going to the Bayleaf since I was around 8 years old maybe? (I’m almost 29 now!) and it’s my favourite Indian restaurant. I’ve never had a bad meal, I’ve always enjoyed the buffet too. Excellent value for money and lovely staff. We’ve ordered off just eat plenty of times and it’s always fresh and hot, the meat has always been tender and you get generous portions. Highly recommend this place always!!

Ordered a delivery in Yarnton for 4 last Tuesday evening. Have used the Bayleaf in the past and it was always excellent…..This time….Absolutely FANTASTIC!….I seriously can’t remember having a more enjoyable curry even in a restaurant. Onion bhajis were crunchy..yes,crunchy…other Indian restaurants say this cannot be achieved with a takeaway. Full marks to all at the Baytree…..you made our evening. 10/10

1 of the best curry’s I’ve ever had ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have been coming to the Bayleaf for years and I’ve never had a poor meal. In the knowledge that a properly cooked biryani is a labour of love and a work of art usually reserved because of its complexity for celebrations and special occasions I thought I would give it a try. This was a mistake consisting of lumps of lamb and tons of probably separately cooked rice with no complexity or nuance of herb or spice flavours and the vegetable curry that was served with it added nothing to the meal. In short not a biryani ;flavourless and disappointing

Food was beautiful there was loads the only downfall is I wish they did cold drinks but apart from that everything was perfect

I ordered two mango chutney and 1,mint sauce. They sent 1 mango chutney 2 mint sauce. It was delivered not in house.

By far the best Indian takeaway food in Oxfordshire, well worth a visit too.

The meat content was excellent. However, the meal itself was very bland and had no taste. Delivery on time.

They delivered the wrong order and had to come back and swap it over.

I chose collection in 20 minutes, but on placing the order this jumped to 50 minutes, meaning the order would take even longer to bring home than the 40 minutes if delivered. I rang the restaurant and the agreed to expedite my order to the original 20 minutes. Thank you for being accommodating, Bayleaf!

Took ages to arrive and wasn’t very warm

Chicken was tough, ordered 2 x mango chutney and only delivered 1, my daughter in law was walking down the drive so the delivery man said is this 86b and just left it on the slabs.

Here for the Sunday buffet, great selection (3 starters, chutneys; 4 mains; rice, naan and fruit salad. Great value, clean room and friendly staff. £11 pp!
