Brilliant pub which I have been using for 13 years. Large late Victorian/Edwardian I believe. Staff are are very friendly and served quickly. Good selection of beers on hand pump and lagers, guiness and cider on gas delivery as is standard for these. Jim, the landlord is very efficient, friendly and easy to talk to. It's a dog friendly pub.

The lunch menu at Flavours is great value. I am an avid fan of this place and tried something new this time - it was delicious. The Dosa Masala is also a great starter and just enough to whet the appetite. Service is always excellent with friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Went to this restaurant for a pizza (firstly banging, so yummy) and the chef gave us a sample of his chicken tikka…delicious, I went home that night and woke up in the morning craving it again so went back for more. VERY impressed, I had the Dahl and chicken tikka masala, great value for money, chef was lovely and gave me a glass of his mango yogurt drink. I am very upset I don’t live locally, LOVE LOVE LOVE

Review: Disappointing Experience with Unfulfilled Promises I visited this Indian restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The food was underwhelming and tasted far from authentic Indian cuisine. It lacked the characteristic bold spices and flavors, instead tasting bland, overly buttery, and reminiscent of a British interpretation of Indian food. We tried one vegetarian dish and two meat dishes, but neither were satisfying. Even the rice tasted oddly sweet and buttery, which was unexpected and unpleasant. The food, however, wasn’t the biggest issue. Upon receiving our bill, we realized that our order had been mistakenly charged twice. While this was likely a misunderstanding, it was frustrating nonetheless. We addressed the matter with the staff, and they assured us that the error would be corrected. Despite following up in person the next day and being promised a refund, five months have now passed without any resolution. Communication has ceased entirely, and we are left without the refund we were assured. It’s truly unfortunate, as this could have been resolved with a simple gesture of accountability. The lack of follow-through reflects poorly on the management and their customer service standards. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this experience.

We turned up to get our pre-booked table and the staff were unwelcoming and didn’t smile. I ordered a Carlsberg and got a Cobra and when I queried it, I was told they didn’t have any even though it was on the menu. We ordered starters which turned up luke warm. The main course was ok but nothing to write home about. My wife had the lamb achari, which she said didn’t have much flavour. I had the lamb malayan and if it wasn’t for the pineapple in it, it would’ve been completely bland. The staff need to show they are bothered about their customers and perhaps smile a bit more. The restaurant was just over half full and there was very little atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this restaurant. The only plus side is that they forgot to charge us for the drink each we had. They never asked if we wanted another drink even though our glasses were empty half way through the starters.

Very disappointed. We ordered poppadoms and starter and was asked do you want this together we said yes but it came up with the main course apart from one starter which came up halfway through the meal. We were in and out in 45 mins

Streets was recommended to us because it's dog-friendly and we like eating whole foods not processed. We hadn't booked but were offered a choice of a couple of tables. Great music and nice "street food" vibe ie undecorated and basic. It's a "small plates" Tapas style menu but of Indian origin. There wasn't a great deal of choice but we're quite adventurous so we ordered all that we liked the look of on the menu. Limited Zero alcohol choices. Service was casual. Tasty food but small portions, which left us a little hungry and expensive for the amount of food on the plate. Overall, it was an interesting meal out and seemed popular and friendly.

A very authentic restaurant. My wife and I have been eating here for years. The food is brilliant. They are very good in their service. Highly recommended. Customers are treated like family. Every time my wife and I call to order a take away, we do not even need to use our names. They remember all of their customers.

Went to Masala gate this evening, it was a wonderful experience. Upon arrival the staff greeted us with big smiles and a warm welcome. The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated and clean. The food came quickly, starters were beautifully presented, generous portions and tasted amazing. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available which was very pleasing. All my family really enjoyed themselves and all said how gorgeous the food was. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful meal out. The only part of the evening that I found slightly confusing is that the takeaway menu had far more items on it than the eat in so it's worth checking both before ordering.

My mum and I really fancied a curry while we were in Margate and after doing some research we came across this restaurant! With it already having a high star rating we thought we would give it a try, and we are so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious! We decided to both go for the non-vegetable thali and it was lovely, it included chicken tikka, sheek kebab, meat (lamb) bhuna, chicken curry, rice and naan bread! It was so filling and we left feeling very happy and well fed! I would 100% recommend to anyone in Margate!
