Brilliant pub which I have been using for 13 years. Large late Victorian/Edwardian I believe. Staff are are very friendly and served quickly. Good selection of beers on hand pump and lagers, guiness and cider on gas delivery as is standard for these. Jim, the landlord is very efficient, friendly and easy to talk to. It's a dog friendly pub.

Went to this restaurant for a pizza (firstly banging, so yummy) and the chef gave us a sample of his chicken tikka…delicious, I went home that night and woke up in the morning craving it again so went back for more. VERY impressed, I had the Dahl and chicken tikka masala, great value for money, chef was lovely and gave me a glass of his mango yogurt drink. I am very upset I don’t live locally, LOVE LOVE LOVE

My wife had Chicken Passanda. They used sliced frozen chicken. I had Chicken Dupiaza and my chicken had been cooked multiple times and wasn’t far off being dust and could easily be crushed with a fork. Neither sauce had seen the chicken until being plated up. The Passanda sauce was watery and not thick as it should have been. Both sauces were completely tasteless. Neither had seen a chilli and spices were lacking to the point that they could have been any sauce. I will never return here.

We turned up to get our pre-booked table and the staff were unwelcoming and didn’t smile. I ordered a Carlsberg and got a Cobra and when I queried it, I was told they didn’t have any even though it was on the menu. We ordered starters which turned up luke warm. The main course was ok but nothing to write home about. My wife had the lamb achari, which she said didn’t have much flavour. I had the lamb malayan and if it wasn’t for the pineapple in it, it would’ve been completely bland. The staff need to show they are bothered about their customers and perhaps smile a bit more. The restaurant was just over half full and there was very little atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend visiting this restaurant. The only plus side is that they forgot to charge us for the drink each we had. They never asked if we wanted another drink even though our glasses were empty half way through the starters.

Very disappointed. We ordered poppadoms and starter and was asked do you want this together we said yes but it came up with the main course apart from one starter which came up halfway through the meal. We were in and out in 45 mins

Streets was recommended to us because it's dog-friendly and we like eating whole foods not processed. We hadn't booked but were offered a choice of a couple of tables. Great music and nice "street food" vibe ie undecorated and basic. It's a "small plates" Tapas style menu but of Indian origin. There wasn't a great deal of choice but we're quite adventurous so we ordered all that we liked the look of on the menu. Limited Zero alcohol choices. Service was casual. Tasty food but small portions, which left us a little hungry and expensive for the amount of food on the plate. Overall, it was an interesting meal out and seemed popular and friendly.

Went to Masala gate this evening, it was a wonderful experience. Upon arrival the staff greeted us with big smiles and a warm welcome. The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated and clean. The food came quickly, starters were beautifully presented, generous portions and tasted amazing. There were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available which was very pleasing. All my family really enjoyed themselves and all said how gorgeous the food was. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful meal out. The only part of the evening that I found slightly confusing is that the takeaway menu had far more items on it than the eat in so it's worth checking both before ordering.

My mum and I really fancied a curry while we were in Margate and after doing some research we came across this restaurant! With it already having a high star rating we thought we would give it a try, and we are so glad we did. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious! We decided to both go for the non-vegetable thali and it was lovely, it included chicken tikka, sheek kebab, meat (lamb) bhuna, chicken curry, rice and naan bread! It was so filling and we left feeling very happy and well fed! I would 100% recommend to anyone in Margate!
