This is an amazing restaurant of authentic southern Indian cuisine. Each dish is carefully prepared using a wonderful array of varied spices. I'm a foodie and I find many Indian restaurant dishes jaded and lack lustre. This restaurant is an utterly wonderful experience. You will be wowed by the freshly cooked delicious fare, very different to the average. Thank you to all the team at Spice Route.

Lived in village 10 plus years. First visit to Pipasa. Wonât be going back. It was ok but there is much much better Indian meals to be had and much better quality. The open kitchen allowed me to view rice being moved from pot to pot by hand which isnât great. In this day n age we should not be getting reheated chicken breast either. They need to sharpen up at Pipasa.

Wonderful food, shame about the awful service, waited a long time to give our orders in, waiter did not smile once, other waiters seem to not care about the customers, saw them leaning on the bar doing nothing, do not think we will be going back there, would not recommend this place to my friends, such a shame because the food was so tasty.

I can't complain about the food, which is standard Indian Restaurant fare. The service was ok, if a bit slow. So why am I leaving a 2 star review? When the bill came it had a 15% service charge. I understand this for a large group. But for 3 people?! and 15%?! It's very awkward to say please remove the service charge from the bill, and I would rarely give a 15% tip. This is basically a scammy surcharge. I won't be returning until they stop this practice. In any case there is a better restaurant just around the corner.

Possibly the worst restaurant in Romsey. Interior dilapidated and filthy. Starter of âcrispy potatoâ anyone? Two frozen potato croquettes boiled in oil and chucked on plate with a pile of old iceberg lettuce đ the rest although just about edible were not the best flavors, generally lots of different colored sauces with lumps in and the Raita sauce was so thin it barely held on to the poppadoms. There was a lot more that could added - but All in all definitely not worth your time nor your dosh!!

One of the best Indian we've ever had. Had a chicken with peanut sauce, so good. A mind blowingly spicy flavourful Lamb dish - but so moreish. Could definitely taste the tamarind and almost imli chutney flavours. The stand out for me and all because of nostalgia is the coconut rice. Definitely reminded me of home -- rice grains separate, fresh finely grated coconut flesh -- couldn't stop eating it as is. Mexican Chicken Tinga was also a nice surprise - slightly salty but all in all better than some of the other Mexican chains that only serve Mexican food. New favourite takeaway!

Great Indian takeaway, simple phone ordering service, 25minute turn round very good for a saturday night, efficient at collection(easy parking right outside as well), food ready bang on time, very reasonable prices and very pleased with food quality (lamb passanda a top choice!) and good portion sizes. Definitely will be using again
