What a friendly place. Called for a delivery today and the order was taken with great care. Just had the food which was amazing. Tasty, well cooked and ample portions. Absolutely love the saag aloo and bhaji which in my opinion are the best around. Well done all. We have used you many times and you never let us down. Always a 1st class meal.

Tried this Take Away on a recommendation, but was totally disappointed. Both chicken meals were dry with very little taste. When you pay nearly £40 for two meals you expect far better.Tesco can produce better curries at a fraction of the price. Not impressed Bengal Andover, won't be using you again im afraid.

Have the portion sizes got smaller? I'm sure we used to get a large container of vegetable rice. This time it was small with a tiny bit of salad with the chicken shashlick. Guys don't change a winning formula. I have been recommending you to all my friends

We have used The New Bengal a few times after being recommended by friends and have always had a lovely meal. This weekend I wanted to try something different so contacted New Bengal via Facebook with my flavour preferences to ask for recommendations! Tried the Lawtola and have found my new favourite curry! The lamb chop starters are always incredible too!

Asked Facebook for the best Indian in Andover everyone recommended this and they were right. Customer service top notch recommended me to try the lawtola and just wow. 🤩 My daughter had the korma and she usually doesn’t like Indian food but she loved this. Definitely coming back well done!

The New Bengal - Alright if you’ll eat anything We’ve tried the New Bengal in Andover several times over the last couple of years. Whilst the menu is exciting and varied, the only thing the kitchen consistently delivers is jippy tummies. We can’t figure out if it is poor management of allergens and intolerances or poor hygiene. Despite clearly communicating dietary needs with our orders (the menu doesn’t include any information on allergens or dietary preferences), we’ve had the wrong dishes delivered twice and three times had what we ordered delivered with a note from the delivery driver to say we shouldn’t eat it because it contains something we said we can’t/won’t/mustn’t consume. There are better restaurants and takeaways; gastrointestinal issues need not be part of the experience.

The ice cream was the wrong flavour. The Keema nan was cold and not great. One of the pompadoms was still soft. The vindaloo wasn’t great either.

I have been to The New Bengal multiple times and each time has been phenomenal. I have ordered different dishes which have all been piping hot, fresh and delicious, even when it has been delivered ! Would not go anywhere else for an Indian takeaway. Customer service is always spot on, all the staff are helpful and friendly 😁 I have attached a photo of garlic butter chicken, special fried rice and naan bread (halved with my husband as portions are big!)

Visiting Andover on a business trip and decided to order takeaway from the New Bengal. Best decision I made. The food was amazing, I had the Chicken Tikka Phall as I like very spicy food where the flavour isn’t compromised by the heat and this hit the mark perfectly. The tandoori chicken starter was full of flavour and cooked well and the garlic naan dipped in that Phall gravy was amazing. There is no doubt that the next time I’m in Andover this is the only place I’ll be ordering food from. Thank you everyone at The New Bengal!

ABSOLUTE 10/10 I have tried many Indians over the year and me and my family always always come back to the new bengal! There is nowhere like it, the attention to detail in the packaging, menus, containers and most importantly the flavour! The food was delivered piping hot and within the time frame given, no spillages or leaks. We opted for a lamb bhuna and a chicken tikka masala and these are just what we needed during these cold evenings. The lamb melted in my mouth like butter, the flavours were immense and the garlic naan was cooked to perfection. The chips were perfectly salted and the rice was super fresh. I couldn’t recommend this place more if I tried, The new bengal … I don’t know what id do without you! Thankyou😊

Decided to try this place as spotted some different dishes as well as the usual Indian menu. I had the Hariyali curry as you don't normally see it lsewhere. It was very tasty. 5 stars. Staff friendly, nice waiting area. Good portions too. Thanks

The food itself was very tasty; however, there were no condiments for the popadoms and considering this is a set meal for four people, there was only 1 small piece of chicken and 2 small bits of lamb in the mix starter. Also thought the rice would be large containers, not enough for 4 people for what you pay, doesn’t feel like good value

for the price poor quality yes it was delivered quick and hot but the quality of food was poor for example chicken tika byranni is not meant to blow Yr head off far to much hot spice the amount of food colouring is unreal the veg curry swimming in oil probably explains why so much food colouring.nice gesture with free poppadoms but sadly they were stale and to serve side salad in plastic white bags is horrible Just my opinion but very disappointed to spendso much for poor quality

The New Bengal: The Takeaway That Outsourced My Appetite So, I tried The New Bengal tonight, and I think I’ve found the perfect excuse to retire my pots and pans. The Chicken curry was so good it made me question why I ever attempted to cook in the first place. I’m pretty sure it is made with a secret ingredient called “can’t-stop-eating.” Portion sizes? 1 curry, 1 rice, 1 naan, chips and 2 poppadoms was enough to feed me and my greedy husband. Bottom line: The New Bengal has officially put my kitchen out of business. If you’re ready to break up with cooking, this is the place to do it. Five stars, and I’ll be back—probably tomorrow.

Have eaten from here several times. The food arrives hot, is well proportioned, and has lots of flavour. Definitely recommend 👌

Ordered a takeaway 5.8.24 and it was delivered by a nice delivery driver. The food was below par again however. The rice had water in the container, the popadoms were cooked in old oil and tasted bitter. The Korma was tasteless and the nan bread was crispy. Not good at all and this has been the case the last few times we've ordered. Keep giving benefit of the doubt but was poor. I may not give the new Bengal another chance. That's a shame.

Ordered from here today, we forgot things from our order, so rang up, and with no hassle, they added them. The food arrived hot and very quickly. The delivery guy was very polite, and we would highly recommend this takeaway.

Relatively new to this restaurant so this is our 4/5th order. Apart from the rogan josh always being too spicy everything has always been really good. However it fell short this time and more than likely wont be back. Lamb tikka on the starter and the massala was very very chewy. Chicken tikka was slightly funky. Had asked for the veg curry that went with the veg biryani to be madras hot and it always has been but today for some reason the extra spice went into the rice and not the veg curry! Even though it was put in the notes for the curry to be spicy. Such a shame as i thought we had finally found the best restaurant in Andover.

The food here is amazing. It’s restaurant quality in a takeaway. You need to get their Bombay potatoes in your life. I can also recommend lots of their other dishes. Don’t delay visit and try yourself

absolutely SPOT ON! We use this establishment quite a lot, every week. It just seems to get better and better, this time we ordered online via their own website which is so fantastic and easy to use. We ordered as usual loads of dishes and again it was awsome. The naan breads were fluffy like the clouds and soft. The curries were gorgeous! very reasonably price and so worth it. The delivery driver was exceptional and very polite. Thank you again.
