Great Indian takeaway, simple phone ordering service, 25minute turn round very good for a saturday night, efficient at collection(easy parking right outside as well), food ready bang on time, very reasonable prices and very pleased with food quality (lamb passanda a top choice!) and good portion sizes. Definitely will be using again

Bland. Gutted. Spent £120 on various curries and they were all bland. Very disappointed. Won’t be back.

Food is totally amazing. Freshly cooked, with quality ingredients. Good potion sizes. Great use of spices for a tasty dinner. We are gluten and dairy free. They are just so caring and accommodating.

Had a take away for 6 people, freshly cooked and the food was really tasty. Good portion sizes. First take away from there but we will be going back. Sadly they dont deliver to the village that we live in but not far for us to pick up.

We had a takeaway for 3 people, we had a biryani, a bhuna and a rojoti. All three were very tasty indeed and the quality of the meat (chicken and lamb) was very good. Portion sizes were generous too. Looking forward to trying more of the menu in future.

Tried our first Dawat takeaway last week and regret to say it will also be our last. Curries were bland and contained mainly sauce & veg' - with very little meat. Side dishes also poorly seasoned and even the poppadums were tasteless. We're always prepared to try somewhere new but this was very disappointing.

Dawat is a very good Indian takeaway, one of the best I've been to and certainly the best in Romsey. Sadly I'm moving soon so no more dawat for me

Tried to order another website and then got a notification saying that they are closed. It was only 21:00. So looked on Uber eats and it appeared to be open so I placed an order. I don't know if occasion at 22:00 saying that the food is en route but there's a couple of stops before me. Food arrived at 22:45. I knew at this point there's no way he could stay hot for that long. When I served it the chips were hardly cooked and not even lukewarm. It's like they've been fried for a couple of seconds and then chucked in the box. PopaDom's Was chewy. I don't think it will let me a post a video but the curry sauce was watery and tasteless, It was as if it was the scrap from the bottom of the barrel and they've just watered it down. Chicken was so dry I had to use all of the yoghurt dip and couldn't even manage to eat the rest of it because it was too dry. Really disappointed I've used Andover tandoori in the past and it's been fantastic. But this must have been the worst I've ever tasted a microwave meal from Tesco's would have tasted a lot nicer and at least it would have been hot.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about! I’ve been coming here for years now, as well as receiving takeaways, and have always had a positive experience. The food is great, especially the £9.95 all-you-can eat buffet option, they have a 5* hygiene rating and are always spotlessly-clean, and the service is always fast and very polite. I have brought my Meetup group here more than once with no concerns. Everyone talks about Jeera at other events and says how good it is there.

Honestly the worst curry I’ve ever had. Truly awful. Tasteless, literally no flavour, potatoes were horrible, naans awful, sauce bland.

Sadly this was not a great experience. Quality ingredients but for us the curries were too bland. Service was slow and the bill when it finally came, wrong and although corrected, there was no apology.
