Worst takeaway curry I have tasted. FULL of salt, greasy and tasteless. The potatoes in the sagaloo were old and soggy. After a few mouthfuls I threw it all in the bin were it belongs. What a waste of money! 😡

Honestly the worst curry I’ve ever had. Truly awful. Tasteless, literally no flavour, potatoes were horrible, naans awful, sauce bland.

Ordered based on a text sent for 30% off and they didnt deliver still chasing them ring doorbell too

Be careful of your providing your mobile number. Since going I get texts from them offering deals etc and no way of an opt out. Pretty sure this isn’t in line with my rights under the DPA! Wouldn’t ever order again

Very disappointing. The food is luke warm. The onion baji's are inedible. Cold, chewy and tasteless. The Naans are thin, limp and cold. Not good considering it cost nearly twice as much as we usually pay from our favourite Chinese takeaway in the town. Last time we ever order from here.

We found this restaurant purely by chance. The food is delicious, the staff are friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is very pleasant. We will be going again, after the lockdown.

The restaurant is very good on safety in the current times. Sanitiser available , all staff wore masks . Service very good.food delicious.came on Eat out to help out , busy but because of 2 floors , plenty of space. and felt safe. Very good value. And will definitely come again.

This is the second time we have used Mumbai Brasserie and again we were extremely disappointed. The first time was a take-away which took 2 hours 45 minutes to get to us even though we live 5 minutes away from the restaurant... then to make matters worse we had to put everything in the oven before we could eat it as it was all cold. We put this experience down to a busy night etc and thought we would try dining in next time. This evening we booked a table in the restaurant to give them another shot, we arrived 5 minutes early and they told us our table would be ready in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later we were still stood in the doorway without a table. Nobody offered us a seat while we waited or a drink. We then noticed that two other tables were waiting to be seated before us and had themselves been waiting 35 minutes for a table they had pre-booked! Then to top it all off one of the waiters from upstairs came down and asked where the food was for his tables as they had now been waiting 40 minutes which is when we decided to throw in the towel and asked to just cancel our booking so we could leave.Will not be giving them another chance - very poor service and time structure.

Our visit started off well, our drinks orders were taken within a few minutes of arriving, which was nice. Unfortunately that's where the good service stopped, after finishing our drinks and poppadoms, we waited over an hour and a half, and our table still hadn't been cleared of the poppadom trays and dips, nor had we even been given a menu. During this time we had been ignore several times by the waitress. After waiting so long we decided to leave, so we paid for the drinks and poppadoms only to not be given the "eat out to help out" discount either.TLDR: terrible service, ignored several times, charged double the price we expected.

I was surprised when this place said they could fit us in, as everywhere else was fully booked. As soon as we walked in the door, we realised why. Every single table in use, so very tightly packed. Staff wearing masks but almost all of them below the nose. If you are worried about social distancing, probably best to avoid as the situation would make you anxious. Other than that, service was very slow, the whole experience, two courses (no time for desert) took about four hours. The food was good when it arrived, but the time we had to sit there kinda took the edge off, and we just ate as quick as we could and left, as it was getting on for 10pm. Would return for the food if the service was better and there were no social distancing issues. Maybe will give it another go in a few months when the covid heat is off.

Booked a table to "help out" a local business but what a shambles?! If ever there's a time to impress customers and save a restaurant business now is it. I am very tolerant and understanding but when I book a table for 7pm I don't expect to be waiting for my main at 9.30! No apology or explanation. My observation was one of greed. Cramming too many people into restaurant, not enough time to for staff to observe social distancing or for thorough cleans between customers. I felt on edge throughout and left before main arrived. I saw waiting staff leaning across tables to lay cutlery without masks on. I am not sure how this place has been classed covid safe. Such a shame. Maybe time for owners to take a step back and consider what is important. I have had much more positive experiences else where.

Had a takeaway delivered. Came within an hour which was advised and it turned up hot. But that’s where the positives stopped sadly. Chicken bhuna was tough as old boots, Bombay aloo potato’s tasted a day old as did the poppadoms, chewy! The chicken tikka still had a thick paste on it that hadn’t been cooked off & the the naan breads were thin and tough. First and last time using this place. Such a shame as we used them on a recommendation. But defo not worth the £40 we spent.

Previous review says it all. This was exactly how my husband and myself felt. There is no social distancing being adhered to at all. We actually stopped a family coming to sit on the next table when the waitress was showing them to the table, my husband spoke up and said that it was too close. Can't understand they have an upstairs restaurant as well but just still kept packing people into the ground floor. If you are still freaking about social distancing then this is not the place to go to.

This was one of my fav restaurants but service really let it down tonight, no social distances between tables at all, we waiting over 30mins for our order to be taken and another hr for our starters to arrive at the table, no apology for delay or wait from any member of staff, we then waited another 40 mins for our mains to arrive and the funny thing is clearly they weren't coping well with how busy it was yet told the table next to us (less than a metre away) 30mins wait on food the food saved this place as usual very tasty and hot but the wait and lack of covid restrictions really let it down, staff not wearing maks when setting and clearing tables leaning over customers! Not the mumbai i know and will not be going back for sometime

This place is amazing! We recently came across it and now it’s our Indian takeaway of choice! Delivery is super quick and the food is very tasty and fresh!

We regularly order food from Mumbai brasserie . The food is always delicious . Very friendly service plenty of choice highly recommended.

Over the time I've been to many Indian restaurants in UK and in various cities in India, I know what authentic Indian food should taste like, I was invited to Mumbai Brasserie restaurant on business meeting with other delegates, but this restaurant completely exceeded my expectations, the food is of top quality and taste amazing, every dish we ordered was beautifully cooked and presented including my side of Bombay Aloo Gobi just like in India. Only thing is I live miles away.

Vistied this restautant last saturday with my husband, place was busy with diners and people collecting take aways, we were seated promptly drink and crispy papadoms, the tamarind chutney was lovely, my husband had mumbai platter selection for starter and I had samosa chatt was beautiful, Makhanwala Murg with zafrani pilau rice again delicious, generous portions with friendly service, this Indian comes highly recommended, we wish we lived closer, but whenever we visit Andover we will make this a special treat!

Ordered the vinadloo my god talk about bland that does not describe it. Phoned up they delivered another just as bland rang up apparently they follow a recipe,, Any good chef does not need a recipe what recipe was it I'd love to know definitely not Indian more like tescos cheaper range off the shelf.. The waitress had her young daughter at work which for me is a No Go. Obviously eating free food and drink.. First time here definitely the last.. Thank you for ruining my Saturday night with my husband obviously you need to get a chef who knows what they are doing.. I've been in catering all my life belive me No Good chef follows a recipe sheet..

We visited Mumbai Brasserie after my friend recommended and glad we did, I love Indian curries and tandoori dishes, I ordered tandoori lamb chops bombay aloo and garlic naan, all of which i throughly enjoyed, service friendly , beautiful setting and large restaurant over two floors, I have now booked for mothers day. Keep up the good work Mumbai

Visited this restaurant for my husbands 50th birthday, Booked party of 42 guests in their upstairs restaurant, last weekend, on arrival the restaurant was buzzing with diners, we were greeted and taken to private upstairs seatings, drinks and papadoms served swiftly the two ladies serving were brilliant, we all ordered various starters and main courses, I always go for the chilli paneer for starter and Rajasthani lamb shank curried with tadka dal and egg fried rice, as always food is amazingly good and consistent here, our guests and friends were impress with the taste and flavours as compared to their local usual curry houses.Once again great experience at Mumbai Brassesrie, well done.

Warm welcome by friendly people, my starter Goan pork chilli fry was out of this world! Kernels Murg curry with mushroom fried rice with peshwari naan amazing flavours, every one really enjoyed the food and friendly service, over all we had a fantastic evening we will be back, thank you

Andover has a choice of many Indian/Bangladesh restaurants and from our experience the standard is pretty high. This was our first visit to the Mumbai Brasserie and I have to say the bar for that standard has been raised. Right from the very first moment we walked in the level of service was just outstanding. We barely had to think about ordering drinks and the essential poppadoms when they arrived almost by magic. Both the waitresses that served us were really helpful and attentive throughout the whole evening. We didn't order a started and went straight to chicken shashlik for me and the lamb methi gosht nizami for my partner. Both were excellent the lamb in particular was very succulent. After chatting with Tito (the boss) he gave us a sample of the paneer starter. This is paneer cheese tossed in a chilli sauce with garlic and Bell peppers and is absolutely fantastic.We will be back to what I think has just become our new favourite Indian restaurant in Andover very soon. Visited on a Thursday the day before Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was empty, however I assume the night before a day like that would be quiet. I had a chicken satay starter that was very good with freshly cooked chicken...not lumps of processed meat on sticks! We also sampled a complementary starter that was excellent...but I can’t remember what it was????I finished with a Lamb Bhuna, rice and a plain naan. The whole meal was excellent and the service so friendly, personally I cannot fault anything! My other diners just had positive comments about their dinner. We will return.

They delivered a leaflet yesterday so we thought we would take advantage and order a takeaway. What a mistake, an hour late from the time they promised, items missing, food cold. We were told manager would call us back with a full refund but no such call has happened. But worst of all the delivery driver turned up with a very small child in the car with no seatbelt climbing between the seat, how stupid is that and how irresponsible of the driver and so called restaurant to allow such reckless behaviour.

We ordered our food for delivery at 6.30pm and didn't arrive until 9.00pm. We were told our order would be 50mins not over 2 hours!! They also didn't answer the phone when trying to find where my order was. Then when the food arrived it was cold and rubbish. Extremely disappointed!!

Visited on Sunday evening with my wife and children. Was made to feel instantly welcome by the friendly staff. Buffet food was absolutely delicious, plenty of choice and variety in the dishes.They were happy to accommodate extra dishes for the fussy children we have. Will absolutely be returning, best Indian restaurant I have visited.

Booked a table for 9pm , advised table is nearly ready asked 6 times over the next 40 mins and each time we were advised table nearly ready. Finally gave up only to be advised table is now ready at 10 !! . Why did you not advise us that it was going to be a long wait when we arrived !! Unsure how good the food is but won’t be going back . Shocking service

I wouldn't bother ordering.Placed order via Just Eat and had to wait over an hour for food to arrive. When it did arrive, the order was wrong and had a chicken dish included.I phoned and told them that they had sent the wrong order and that we are vegetarian .A replacement was sent but was wrong again.Total waste of time and money.

Went here when it changed hands and wasn't very impressed so have been going elsewhere, thought it would be good to try again last night. Booked a table for 7.45. Ordered starters and mains and then waited..had 2 rounds of drinks whilst waiting..starters finally arrived and were good.. but then the long wait again for the main course. Cold plates so not a good start... then the food was brought out. The wrong rice came out and we were told this would be changed, difficult to eat a curry without rice but as we waited needed to try something then the same rice was brought out "instead of throwing it away, you can have this while we get the right one for you, but we won't charge you"... tasted the rice and it just seemed to be mushroom rice with loads of chilli powder, awful. Tried to eat my main course but it had so much salt I couldn't eat it. The other main was supposed to be a spicy jalfrezi , but it had no chilie.s at all and appeared to be pre cooked chicken with onion sauce. We had also ordered a naan bread which was forgotten. Although the bill was adjusted and some things taken off, it was still expensive considering we were there nearly 2 hours and left hungry... will definitely not be going here again ..BIG DISAPPOINTMENT .. back to Light of Asia for us.

After giving the resteraunt 4 stars last year when eating in unfortunately after trying the takeaway delivery for the first time recently...... well let's say it's the 1st and last takeaway I will be getting from them. Undercooked onion bhaji, bland lamb bhuna and overcooked Bombay potato! A bit pricey too! Heard similar stories about the takeaway from others! Should be the same food you serve at the tables!

Ordered a Jalfrezi takeaway.. not a single chilli and was to light in colour to be one. Called thinking there was a mistake was told there wasn’t. If this is the genuine quality of food I won’t be ordering from them again. What ever I got was okay but just okay and not what I ordered.

I ate here as part of a group and therefore was able to try quite a few options on the menu. The flavours were very safe and although traditional by name, were actually adapted slightly.

My favourite Indian ever. If I fancy Indian food I won’t even bother finding a different place. From all the Indian restaurants I’ve been this one is by far the best one.

Terrific food and service at this lovely restaurant. Staff were very willing to suggest dishes which would accompany our main meals. They were really friendly and ensured we wanted for nothing. This will be the only Indian we use from now on.

We recently discovered this gem of an Indian restaurant and I'm really sorry we took so long to come here - we'll definitely be back. The food was delicious, and there was plenty of it so it really felt like we were getting value for money. I will come back another time and try out the Sunday buffet, but on our visit it was a Thursday evening, exhausted after packing up boxes ready to move house, the staff here couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The poppadoms were freshly made, which is lovely, I hate it when you get stale poppadoms. Lots of different chutneys to try. I am so sorry I forgot my purse and couldn't leave a tip, we didn't seem to be able to pay the tip on the card, as the staff really deserved a tip. When we go back I shall leave a double one to make up. Can't recommend this curry house enough - if you've not been yet, give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

We visited this restaurant this evening for a birthday meal for a family member. The service was excellent and the staff amazing. We absolutely loved the food and will definitely come again.

We had heard a lot about Mumbai Brasserie, so thought of celebrating one of our friends birthday around 24 of us, honestly we all love the place, the food was awesome, good choice of drinks, still feel the taste, lovely staff very friendly felt as if we were at home, some of had our kids with us, the kids loved it and were well looked after, they had us tables set with birthday decorations, and after everything a birthday song by the staff , it was full house, I saw other costumer also having a good time, nice interior, top restaurant in Andover town we will be booking for for one of our friends birthday soon, and Christmas party. This is our favourite Indian restaurant, Ive tried many dishes from Mumbai menu, the curries are full of flavours, this time I was recommended Tandoori grilled lamb chops, simply heavenly! Traditional Dal makani beautifully cooked, crispy roti all made our dining experience very special.I am keen Indian food lover and can tell the difference being a chef my self.Highly recommend.

Last night we went for a curry for My mother in-laws birthday. In short, the food was excellent and the service friendly & prompt. I’d recommend the tandoori grilled chicken shashlic and the garlic naan, full of flavour. At the time of eating I would have also recommended the pork starter I enjoyed, were it not for the dire repercussions that would emerge a few hours later. We finished the meal around 21:30 and made our way home, fast forward a few hours and my insides begun to rumble. My wife instantly knew the approaching danger from the concerned look on my face. It only took a few minutes, but after farting like a trooper the entire room stank! I changed the atmospheric makeup of our house! Approximately 3am my wife makes the mistake of trying to turn over in her sleep and in the process, fans the duvet - boom, 100% methane cloud hits us both square in the face. She starts retching, I jump out of bed to get some distance to the smell. She asks me to grab the bin and then she vomits! Silence.Another fart escapes.And thus, we shall always remember the windy night of 19th October 2019. Great food, I would recommend, just stock up on fabreze.

The food is amazing.We eat either in the restaurant or takeaway many times. Staff all very friendly,and very accommodating. Sunday buffet is great value. The food is top class.lovely decor, lovely atmosphere and delicious food..... Would highly recommended.

Back home from our university trip to England at last but I must mention the day driving along the south coast starting at Brighton and ending at Southampton. On our way back to Reading uni, we stopped in a town called Andover to have dinner and thought we would try an Indian meal.Well, we found a restaurant call Mumbai Brasserie and were so well greeted. We learned that this was one of the only Indian restaurants that had an Indian chief. (I thought they all did but apparently the chefs are normally from Bangladesh)The food was amazing. Marmin couldn’t eat anything hot so they suggested a tikka dish I tried the chicken Jalfrezi with rice and bread called ‘Naan’. The plate ended up so full but I finished it and can still remember the taste.I’ll let the others do their own reviews but felt I just had to write this before I forgot.

Although I tagged this as business it was really with business friends. I retired yesterday and my company took me out for a meal at this restaurant.Service excellent, food was excellent, surroundings excellent couldn't want for more. Thoroughly recommend that you try this establishment.

My partner and I went here for the first time recently. The service was fantastic, a lady took the time to explain the dishes to us and was able to make recommendations once we explained the sort of spice we like. The food was very tasty. The manager came and spoke to us at the end to ask how everything was and was very friendly. We can’t wait to visit again.

We have eaten at the Mumbai several times now and every time they never fail to make us very welcome and valued. Even if they are very busy the seem to be able to produce a really good curry and all the extras and still have the time to make us feel welcome. The food is very good and they have a good selection of drinks. We are always offered a complimentary liqueur and the is coffee is good. It also has a nice atmosphere and a pleasant decor. Would highly recommend.

Beautifully cooked Goan pork chilli fry, beautiful onion bhaji, always a great stopover on the way back to London, food and service at Mumbai Brasserie are excellent and second to none. If you are lucky enough to live near this restaurant make sure you give it a try, we promise you that you will be pleased, highly recommend.

Visited this Saturday, warm welcome on arrival, the restaurant was buzzing full house with diners.Impresive food menu, differend to all local Indians ive been over the years around Andover. Goan Xacuti chicken was top notch for me, kerela chicken and sizzling lamb chops on our table were delightful, now officially our favourite Indian in Andover, comes highly recommended.

Finally a truly good Indian restaurant in Andover!All Friendly people in there, had my husbands 50th Birthday party this weekend, beautifully spiced curries and the tandoori sizzlers served are full of delicate flavours, top quality lamb here just melts in mouth! we were total of 74 dinners and the food selection was truly amazing, we had booked the entire top floor of restaurant with its own full bar and toilets , guests and family really enjoyed mingling and catching up, they were obviously very busy with the ground floor full of other parties, I think this restaurant can cater for over 150 people at any one time. Thank you Mumbai for making our 50th Birthday celebration very special and see you soon .

Myself and my partner visited last night on a spare of the moment curry meal.... I have to say the food was great, and the service was amazing, the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough to make our evening special. The price of the food was good and they even offered us a free baileys after our meal. We will definitely be visiting again.

It was our third visit to the restaurant since it opened.The restaurant is nicely appointed and the staff very pleasant.On this occasion we went for two different main chicken dishes, along with pilau rice and a wholemeal nan.The taste and consistency of both dishes were excellent.We will definitely return.

The curries were absolutely delicious and the service, as expected, was impeccable. We were very well looked after and our guests were very impressed. By far the best curry I have had for a very long time. The only problem - we over ordered but, then again, I had the leftovers for lunch today and it was delicious. We will definitely be back and have already started telling people about this restaurant. Well done team! Excellent stuff!

Excellent food, excellent service the best Indian restaurant in town. So many different dishes to choose from it was difficult to make a choice but we did and weren't sorry for our selection especially as we tried each others dishes. Good quality, good portions - we will return.

If you read the other reviews you will see that there is not a lot i can add to those. Excellent food, cooked by excellent chefs, and presented by excellent waiting staff. BUT if you are not convinced already then i refer to you to the old addage of "the proof of the pudding..." etc. Only then will you find out the truth !

Great food last night. Very interesting menu with lots to choose from. Spoilt for choice. The staff were all friendly and attentive without being too obtrusive. Our first time eating here, it won't be our last. Already booked for next weekend taking some visiting friends who I am sure will enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you.

Although they do a very good buffet on Sunday we opted to go for a meal from the menu. It has always been a pleasurable experience with the staff there and once again the chefs surpassed themselves.

Excellent Service! Everything was superb, starter, main course and drinks. The price of a bottle of Zinfandel was very reasonable compared to other Restaurants in the area. The starter was to die for as I adore Giant Garlic Prawns... vey well presented with a small salad! We have been before and enjoyed our meal but this time was mid-week so the place was busy but not too noisy & crowded.

The Mumbai Brasserie never disappoints. Took an auntie visiting from Ireland and they could not have done enough for us. The restaurant was spotlessly clean as always. The staff couldn’t be more attentive and took the time to give a great welcome as well as explaining the menu and recommending dishes. The food was exceptional with everything cooked to perfection.They even took time to take photos with our guest even getting the staff from the kitchen to come out as well. Couldn’t have been happier with the evening. Highly recommended and will keep on visiting for sure.

Mumbai Brasserie is the best hotel its food is amazing and full of Indian taste as promised. I had really authentic wonderful Indian food after long time because most of the restaurant claim to be Indian but they are not. Chief is too good. Last but not the least service is amazing I like Joseph who is very kind and full of hospitality and that is one of the reason I always visit Mumbai Brasserie for food.

Mumbai Brasserie exceeded our expectations again! Food really fresh and tasty (miles better than my local curry house), only place to serve masala Dosa, samosa chatt and regional Indian favourites, I've been told this restaurant has top Chefs from India with work experience in Indias most celebrated establishments like Taj and The Obroi in Mumbai city.My wife is vegetarian and no restaurant for miles cooks tasty vegetables like we eat at Mumbai Brasserie.The restaurant itself is beautiful with warm colours good ambiance and brilliant atmosphere with diners celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and family dinners Also this restaurant is the biggest in Andover and surrounding with private party hall on the first floor, we love the new menu the restaurant has to offer, a must try for all Indian food fans, well done again Mumbai Brasserie you exceeded our expectations yet again !

Every time I come to the Mumbai Brasserie the staff are so kind and hospitable. It’s a lovely atmosphere because of their fantastic service. The food is always delicious as well. If I’m eating out in the area this would always be my first choice!

A genuine surprise to travel out to a small town like Andover and find an indian restaurant of this class. One of the best Indians I’ve had outside of India itself. If you are in the area you should check it out.

Food was Ok but £31.60 for 4 pints of beer and £4.25 for a bottle of water was extortionate. Cheap trick to charge reasonable price for food then bump up the bill by overcharging for the drinks.

We visited Mumbai Brasserie, on a recommendation from friends, I'm glad we did! We are regulars at Pink olive Indian in Weyhill as it's nearby. From outside this restaurant looks not much, but interiors are brilliant with warm colours, very friendly welcome, menu is unlike any other restaurant in this town, unique regional Indian favourites, and dishes I've not heard or tasted before locally, I was missing out for so long! The chilli Calamari starter was delicious, and south Indian Chicken Satay nice! Murgh Makhanwala was delicious perfectly balance of flavours, saffron rice and naan all made our dining experience at Mumbai Brasserie Andover really special, we have decided to now try the Sunday buffet, this is where I was told the chef's get creative and cook exoctic dishes not on menu, thank you for making our evening very special and we look forward to seeing you soon!

This restaurant exceeded our expectations again on second visit for our wedding anniversary, the chilli paneer was divine! My husband has the Goan pork chilli fry, very tasty, Goan fish curry was beautifully cooked diced Monkfish, just melts in mouth with great taste and texture!People working and serving food there are so genuinely caring and friendly.Rajasthani Nalli Nihari Lamb deliciously tender with curry taste dipped naan hmmm..We enjoyed every bite and experience.Very spacious restaurant, was fully packed with diners in various size dinner parties especially Birthdays. Thank you for your recommendation and hospitality, we look forward to visiting the area soon.

Top notch Indian food, we love this menu selections, as it’s unique, we were happy to see Mr Tito ex manager at Blue Ginger restaurant in Whitchurch, now in this new restaurant in Andover.We often have food delivered to Whitchurch from here, tasty food with prompt delivery.We decided to dine at Mumbai Brassiere to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and glad we did, lovely touches of stars glitter on our table, candle lit dinner, glass of bubbly on arrival, kept us amused..Mumbai platters were heavenly beautiful presented with chilli paneer, chicken Hariyali tikka, tandoori lamb chop, and crispy onion bhaji. The restaurant was full of diners on a Thursday, surprising.Tito offered to drop us home in Whitchurch, but we had booked local cab in advance, now this is service where they can’t do enough for you.Over all we had a brilliant evening, also bumped into fellow Whitchurch friends in the restaurant too.We love this spot and we will be back for more.

Went here with work colleagues after a long day spent on new product launch, the menu is really interesting and different to any other I've been to in Andover, the Ajwani mahi machi sizzler was out of this world! Never had fish in Indian restaurant before, our work team raved about how good each of their dish were.I had Chill chicken for starter it was divine!These curries and spice blended were so different from my usual, I'm glad I tried this new restaurant, top marks on food presentation and modern restaurant interior, feeling warm and cosy. So much so I have decided to have my 50th Birthday dinner in their upstairs private dinner floor, this one comes highly recommended!

2nd time eating at Mumbai Brasserie and cannot fault it. Service was brilliant, very welcoming staff and food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back. The place was clean and tidy with a warm friendly atmosphere.

Amazing food beautifully presented, exquisite flavours I love the New menu consisting of regional Indian favourites including Indian Street food style delicacies like samosa Chatt and masala Dosa.The restaurant itself is spacious and clean (5 stars) feeling cosy warm and comfy.Each dish had unique blend of flavour different to most local restaurant.My tandoori Monk Fish sizzler was beautifully grilled to perfection and juicy.If you are an Indian food lover, this restaurant comes highly recommended a must try!

I have travelled and worked in India for many years, Authentic Indian cooking is amazing and so full of flavours! This restaurant exceeded our expectations, the food is amazing just like I enjoyed authentic Indian food in India, I understand the chefs here have previously worked for Indian hospitality establishments like the Taj and the Oberoi in Mumbai formerly known as Bombay, the new menu takes you through to the many regional favourite dishes from the Indian subcontinent all in Mumbai Brasserie , This restaurant is highly recommended if you'd like to taste authentic Indian cooking!

Everyone at the Brasserie was friendly and helpful along with attentiveness. The meal was very good if a little on the expensive side.

Absolutely disgusting!! All food was covered in grease and oil. Onion bahji was so soggy it fell apart as I picked it up. Keema naan, bland and just tasted spicy without any real flavour. Curry let kormas down everywhere, it actually tasted burnt. The fact I got a text at 8:21 and it was delivered at 9:10... well that explains why it was stone cold.

We had quite a wait for our food and it almost warranted a complaint. Attention to empty glasses was second to none, mainly, I think, to sell as much as possible. However, as we were with friends and enjoying chatting it wasn't too much of an issue. They were very friendly and the food wasn't bad but nothing outstanding - I had the lamb shank. Would I go again? Yes I would. Mainly to try something different as some of the food coming out did look good.

Decided to return to Mumbai Brasserie with our kids after having a lovely couples visit last year. New menu and staff and a fabulous meal. Starters, mains and desert were all perfect and enjoyed by all. Definitely one to visit in Andover. Thank you to all of the staff.Mark & Jemma Reed

We visited Mumbai Brasserie with two of our friends for a casual evening meal over the Easter break, we were not disappointed.The food was outstanding I have to say, we had chicken tikka starter and it was cooked three different ways, I’ve never had that in an Indian before and it was really good! We also had some sheek kebab and chilli paneer.We had two Goan chicken curries and a lamb special as well as a chicken dopiaza cooked tikka style for mains, the level of heat was perfect and everything was so flavoursome in all of the dishes. The thing that really stood out for me was the keema naan bread, oh my god it was sensational, I don’t know how they cook their naan bread compared to other establishments but whatever they are doing, they are doing it very well.It is rather pricey here, the bill was definitely much higher than we were expecting, usually you get asked how many poppadoms you would like or they just bring some out free of charge, we didn’t get asked how many we wanted and considering one of our party doesn’t actually like or eat popadoms, we were a little shocked when there was £6.80 worth on the bill, I feel if they’re going to charge for popadoms, they should at least ask you how many you would like, we just ended up eating them for the sake of it because they were there, that’s my only negative comment though.Will definitely go back and will also be using them for takeaways too, I believe you get £15 discount for collection.

We happened to drive via Andover on the way back after spending weekend in Devon, we picked this restaurant, after reading about it online, And glad we came here for a hearty dinner with my family, The servers were warm, friendly and with passion, the starters had different twist to other Indian restaurants, full of flavours, carefully presented and served, the lamb was so tender and delicious to eat every mouth full thoroughly enjoyed every moment, so did my wife and our son and daughter, we love to eat in this restaurant, but shame we live far away, we will definitely be back when we are next in the area, brilliant Indian food and ambience, loved every moment here, well done Mumbai Brasserie!

The selection of unique Indian dishes on the Sunday were very tasty and freshly cooked, the restaurant was full of people enjoying lunch, we had plenty till we couldnt any more, nice selection of wines & beers, we have now booked for the Elvis Tribute & dinner on Thu 2nd May, the Salmon tikka in the buffet was so good, and so were the other curries and tikka grills.Service was nice and relaxed by team of friendly people all from Goa, we have been to Goa and love the relaxed culture, food & history.We are looking forward to the Elvis Night Dinner, this restaurant comes highly recommended.

We visited with our family on a Friday evening. Staff were very attentive and really looked after our Grandaughters. The menu is quite extensive with a good mix of traditional and new dishes. The food was plentiful and nicely spiced. We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and would recommend it to curry lovers.

We visited Mumbai brasseri during a visit to Andover and was blown away with this restaurant food and service. Very warm and friendly welcome great service, but it was the quality of the food that really made an impression.It was extraordinary!The Rajasthani nalli nihari was perfectly cook and nicely spiced. My wife could cut her lamb with a fork it was so tender. Our side dishes were very good and there was more than enough for everyone.We were pleased to have visited Mumbai Brasseri, All in all we had a great experience here and will have no hesitation in returning again.Only regret is that we live far away!Try this wonderful restaurant... you will not be disappointed!

Have rated this highly in the past but not anymore. We used to love the Sunday Buffet at £10 pp but last month it increased to £13.50pp with the explanation that they would be adding more dishes. Seemed a lot to increase in one go. One third of the COST?Anyway we have just tried their new £13.50 buffet. Was it better? NO. In fact our visit was a real let down. We booked for 5.30pm when they open and although we arrived on time the buffet was not ready till 5.50. Some of the food was only lukewarm. In our opinion some of the milder items seemed overly hot spice wise.Some weeks ago we received a voucher for 25% off food in a local newspaper. I asked the waiter if we could use the voucher before we ordered but he said he did not know. We ordered the buffet but on presenting the voucher at the end of the meal was told it was not available to use with the buffet. (as a matter of note the voucher and news article do not say this.)We also found we bad been charged for 2 bottles of larger instead of two halves of larger. (Bottle beer being more expensive) on speaking to the waiter he tried to tell us we had been charged correctly until we showed him the difference on their drinks menu. Our experience has now rated them low. I hope they improve their customer service and look at the way they organise the buffet in relation to being available on opening and look at the temperature of the food.

We visited here for family dinner for my daughter's 18Th birthday, the menu has good selection of regional favourites from India, the Kerala chicken was perfectly cooked and delicious chicken tender and juicy, the Goan fish curry was beautifully cooked enjoyed with steamed rice, aburgines okra and Bombay aloo zeera for sharing were tasty and freshly cooked fragrance, this will be our new favourite resturant, highly recommended.

Had a business lunch for 46 people at Mumbai Brasserie upstairs private seating floor with its own bar free fiber WIFI, all staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough. The Mumbai platters starters were gorgeous with nice selection. Our main dishes chicken makhanwala, Mumbai tandoori mixed grill, chicken green curry, Simla lamb methi, haryali tikka and Malaya tikka were delicious and each dish was unique with its flavor. Naans selection were perfectly cooked light and flufy, everyone enjoyed their lunch and commented on how good it’s was, as comparing to their local curry as all our team are spread around hampshire and Wiltshire, plenty of parking available near by car parks, so much so we were planning to have our Christmas work do here! Really enjoyed the whole experience at this restaurant, exceeded my expectations, comes highly recommended.

Great atmosphere, food is out of this world as compared to my local curry house, we had dinner before we went to our show at the Lights Theatre, very friendly helpful staff, menu choice are unique, thank you, can't wait to try more from your new menu

Firstly the speed of service was excellent, but we did dine very early so the restaurant was far from full.We we greeted with a big smile and had recommendations from the new menu. I chose the chilli pork stir fry, my wife the Mumbai platter for our starters. Both dishes were excellent and beautifully presented. I was told the pork was sourced locally.Our main course consisted of lamb curry and a seafood curry, we shared a rice and ordered a couple of naan breads. The food did not disappoint and my lamb was tender and had some very delicate flavours.If I could criticise in any way, it would be the cost of soft drinks, they are on the high side. Our meal was a bit shy of £60, this included two soft drinks and a large wine.I would recommend and we will return.
