The best restaurants serving Indian food in Runnymede South East

Spent another lovely evening last night on board Vincent's narrow boat. Started with some fried peppers, followed by an amazing African inspired tomato based baked egg dish accompanied with home made garlic bread. Dessert was a delicious chocolate and coconut cheesecake - there was even a second helping of dessert which was fabulous! Vince was an excellent host as usual and his food is amazing, leaving you craving for a return visit. Highly recommended if you are looking for excellent food and your own personal chef for the evening.

Great food, really good service and as for the decor modern but very cosy! Can’t wait to to visit again Will recommend king prawn bhuna!!

Best curry on the planet, there’s no competition or debate about it……. If you haven’t tried this place for a curry then get ordering, and your be writing a very similar review 👍 if I could write another review I would say this over and over! I have tried every curry in Addlestone and chertsey, nothing even comes close! Please try the lamb spice lounge curry it’s unreal! Or any lamb dish for that matter, the lamb melts in your mouth!!!!

Raj Durbar provided a great dining experience for me & my family. The food was flavourful and well-prepared, the service was friendly and Nirmala was very helpful & experienced, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I'd recommend it for anyone looking for great Indian food.

I came back from holiday and I wanted a quick meal. I haven't lived here very long. The food was greasy but tastewise it's okay. I was on my own and there was quite a bit of food left. To my horror I found out that they are changing £2 for the leftovers to take home. This is the most preposterous thing I ever came across. I am from London I go to a lot of restaurants there. Even in the high end places like Dishoom, Kanushka and Kricket they happily pack it for you without any charge. This was Thursday night at about 7.30p.m I went in there and the restaurant was deserted. At about 8p.m one other person came to eat. That says it all I think. I am never going there again. The waiter couldn't even speak properly to be heard.

Ordered a delivery on 26th online with time required.Arrived early and driver advised he was pressed to deliver even earlier ! This makes a nonsense of the ordering system. Food was mediocre at best with the 2 chicken dishes overcooked underspiced and over wet.Veg side dish again overcooked and over wet. I have used a large number of Restaurants in the locality-New Haw,Ottershaw,Byfleet with comparable pricing and free delivery but today has been the least satisfying experience in well over 10 years-very disappointed ! In future I will continue to use the Restaurants where I know the staff and enjoy food of a consistently high standard.

So wanted to love this restaurant as live next to it. Food was bland , being Asian wanted authentic food,but lacked flavours so westernised. Wrong food order as ordered 2 same dishes and both were different , second so sweet a korma! Of all every dish was tastless. Shocked buy this .
