Me and my family have moved into Chertsey recently, and have been looking for a regular indian. After trying out several different places we’ve found the one! Amazing place, amazing people and most of all amazing food. I don’t ever rate places highly, but this has just blown my mind.

Staying in Chertsey for one night before visiting an open day at Royal Holloway, The food was absolutely delicious and the portions very generous. The choice and combinations of curries available was amazing. Would definitely go back if down this way again. Great service. Recommended

I celebrated my birthday at Chertsey Restaurant, and it was unforgettable. The food was exquisite, bursting with authentic Indian flavours. Tahmid and Tarek provided exceptional service, attentive and friendly throughout. The warm atmosphere made the evening truly special – highly recommended!

Second time eating at Chertsey restaurant. The food was fantastic both times. The first time we went, there was a new young waiter who overcharged us slightly, so we had kept the receipt to show them this time, the manager couldn't apologise enough and the amount was taken off of tonight's bill so can't complain. Will definitely be going back 👌

So disappointing! Always order takeaway from here, normally great. My wife ordered just after 7pm tonight, now 9:15pm and still waiting - this is despite us calling to check on the order after an hour and being told it’ll be 20 mins. From the call, it was clear they hadn’t even processed it originally! I’d understand if they were perhaps busy and explained this but we’ve been told twice it’ll be here soon. The wait goes on, fingers crossed it arrives before Christmas! Incredibly poor!

Sadly two biryanis needed more flavour and veg curry’s were a little watery. Probably a one off as food is usually good here.

We always use this restaurant but unfortunately this time was not so good, not sure if there is a different chef but the sauce was only half full and the flavour was not as nice as usual ☹️

Have tried a few of the local restaurants for Indian cuisine - suffice to say this was the best we found. Have since ordered multiple more times, and impressed all over again every time. Heavily recommend!

Marvellous food, Wholesome experience , Amazing customer service Cannot fault the service- made my food exactly how I wanted it. Customer service was very friendly. There chicken garlic chilli and hydrabadi lamb and the king prawns was scrumptious. There is ample parking behind the store and on street parking.

Food was excellent definitely recommend the butter chicken and garlic naan. Tried many Indian spots in my time such as the famous dilchaad and none of these places have any competition compared to here. Get yourself down to Chertsey Restaurant.

One of the best Indian restaurant I have visited the food and service was immaculate. Highly recommend this spot and if you do visit make sure to ask for jahed he looked after us on our visit.

A great place for tasty and spicy food Especially when going off menu!

2 hours waiting for food, called restaurant to see where food is for the person on the phone just put the phone down on me! Partner then rang to see where the food is person said on its way, 20 mins later rang again told driver stuck in traffic! No traffic at this time we live 5 mins away! Rang again said on it way, finally food turned up ask delivery driver what time did you collect this food he said just now and came straight here no traffic! So basically our food was never on its way! 👎👎👎

We were staying overnight at the local Travelodge and stumbled upon this gem. The staff went above and beyond and were very polite and helpful. The food was delicious and came to just under £70 for 3 people with a drink, so it's reasonably priced as well. It seemed to be very popular with the locals with many knowing the staff on a first name basis. If you're in the area and in the market for an Indian give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!

Title: Disappointing Experience Due to Rude unprofessional Waiter Review: I have been a frequent visitor to this restaurant, often enjoying the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. However, my recent experience left much to be desired. During my last visit, I encountered a significant price discrepancy between the menu and the bill. Despite addressing this with the manager, the issue was not adequately resolved, and I was left feeling embarrassed and frustrated as I had to pay a few pounds more than the updated menu card they had given me later on. Upon returning to the restaurant after a couple of months, I was met with even more disappointment. The waiter approached my wife and me in a rude and unprofessional manner, bringing up the previous incident and making us feel unwelcome. Despite my attempts to explain the situation calmly, the waiter continued to be dismissive and confrontational. The entire encounter was embarrassing and uncomfortable, ultimately leading us to leave the restaurant without dining. It is disappointing to see such unprofessional behavior from a member of the staff, especially considering the otherwise positive experiences I have had here. I believe that addressing the issue with the waiter and providing additional training on customer service could greatly improve the atmosphere of the restaurant. In conclusion, while the food at this establishment remains excellent, the rude behavior of the waiter detracts from the overall dining experience. I would recommend addressing this issue promptly to ensure that all patrons feel welcome and valued. As we all come to a restaurant to spend a decent buck to feel good rather than be bashed by a waiter. Kudos to the chef for consistently delivering delicious meals, but a change in the attitude of certain staff members is necessary for me to consider returning in the future.

Food was good, got a peshwari naan instead of a keema which i ordered though (luckily not allergic to coconut) delivery was an hour and 10 minutes

Ordered food for quite a substantial amount of money, order got accepted, 45 minutes later driver arrived at restaurant…. Then… order got cancelled… they are too busy 😡. Too late to make food … if they only refused the order, ok… but at that late notice… not cool!!!

Mr T and Jay do a fantastic curry! Chicken tikka is excellent. The garlic chicken is a wow! The whole experience leaves you wanting more.

Food arrived about 10 minutes over scheduled time but it was delivered by a very polite and apologetic driver. 10 minutes was no problem. Still nice and hot and would definitely use them again.

I used to order from this restaurant all the time but as prices rise there quantity and taste has reduce. Back in the day you would get 3 somosas and 3 lamb chops for starters now you get 2 each. I ordered mushroom rice and it wasn’t full to the top only half way. I ordered 2 different sauce dishes with tasted the same even thou different ingredients on the menu. The nan is half the size it used to be and used to get a complement popudums Unfortunately I won’t be ordering from you again.

Authentic Indian taste. So far best Indian taste I got after in the England.

So I haven't used this restaurant for some time, but thought I'd give it another go. What a mistake. I ordered a Reshmi kebab which was not on the menu. ( I have ordered them there before). Anyway it looked and tasted awful. I didn't finish it. It came with a salad (only onion) and mint sauce. My wife had a Chicken Korma, which she did not enjoy at all. Her Naan bread was in no way edible. Not light and fluffy as it should be. I had Chicken Madras, and mushroom rice. I always thought a madras had a kick. This was so bland and very salty. If I'm honest, it was disgusting. It's not the first time this has happened. In no way would I recommend this restaurant. I will not be back

Our food took over an hour and a half to be delivered. The app told us that the food was ‘on the way’ yet when we called the restaurant to check they said it hadn’t left yet.

I’ve a food for more 35£ for takeaway but as you can see it’s burnt naan. So never suggest anybody to buy food from this restaurant.

We have just bread and wait fir gravy... and we not order so many things just 1 gravy and and cover to minimum order so order samosa so basic main thing lamb gravy but that all so mistake we got veg gravy..and we talk restaurant but the said again 1 hour...I dnt no.just 1 item they cant delivered properly
