Mystica in Runnymede

Hi I have few questions... Was the chicken fresh? Because I had a few pieces taste off.. And the papadum taste like been fried in a dirty pan...normally the food is very nice..

We live very close, food and service are excellent. Top quality restaurant a little more classy than a standard Indian restaurant, but well priced.

The best curry I've had in a very long time - it will now be my regular. They listen to your preferences, such nice people and even got extra poppadoms!

As always very good and tasty. Also piping hot. The poppadoms were terrible however. A really bad smell of old oil so unfortunately they had to go into the bin. Such a shame as apart from that I would always give 10 out of 10 rave reviews as all really superb.

This place was a lovely little find. Had a lovely curry. The staff were really attentive and attended to us quickly! Food was delivered promptly. Really lovely night, thank you ☺️

Burnt ordered chicken curry not. Tomato and butter chicken had no taste cold discusting very disappointed. Butter chicken didn’t taste like butter chicken

The food we ordered was tasty, but one of the main dishes was missing. We contacted the restaurant, and they assured us they would send the missing item. When we followed up, they claimed it had already been delivered, which wasn’t the case. However, the manager eventually stepped in and personally came out to deliver the missing dish, along with some extras as an apology. This gesture really improved the overall experience, and we appreciated how they resolved the issue in the end.

Food took longer due to very heavy traffic but still turned up piping hot! Absolutely amazing food every time. Can’t beat Mystica! Honestly the best food and service.

I’ve been eating here for over 10 years and just had the one occasion when the food wasn’t up to standard so 5 stars for that. Everyone knows lager and a curry are a match made in heaven and what lets this place down is getting a bottle of beer that isn’t cold. It’s just not acceptable to serve barely chilled or room temperature beer. The first time it happened I put it down to a one off and since then always ask for a cold bottle which I did on a recent visit but it was barely cold and just about drinkable although didn’t finish the bottle. Please just get it right and serve what the customer asks for. Also they didn’t bring any lime pickle which was asked at the time of ordering.

Sadly food was poor. No flavour or spice to both curries we ordered.

I love the food from Mystica but on this occasion the poppadoms tasted stale. I’ll try ordering from Mystica again next time but hoping that I don’t have this problem again

Great traditional authentic Indian food, full of flavour. I had a Lamb dish, the meat is so tender, just yummy. We have eaten at the restaurant also, great atmosphere. 5*****

I have been 3 times while working in the area , Normally top notch but tonight for myself £21.50 food and portion size was very poor , very bland and 5 pieces of chicken , I will not be back

Our family of three called in for an evening meal. Only had mains but my king prawn bhuna had a great taste. Had a mixture of pilau rice and garlic cheese naan with it. My wife had a lamb dish which was just as good. Would return.

Yet another great curry, this restaurant never disappoints, and there is a new specials menu. Service was great as usual.

Myself and my wife went to the Mystica for our 36th wedding anniversary last week, along with our daughter and 5y granddaughter. We all had something different off the very varied menu and we all said how flavoursome and hot the food was. Even our granddaughter who tried everybody’s loved it. It was early evening so it wasn’t busy but the lovely staff were very attentive the music was peaceful so all in all we had a lovely meal in charming peaceful surroundings. Would highly recommend it. We will be back.

We recently moved to the area from London and can honestly say it’s one the best curry houses we’ve been to! The food was amazing the staff were super friendly, will be our regular spot from now on!

I recently ordered from Mystica Restaurant in Addlestone, and it was an absolute treat! Vegetarian Platter was a feast of flavors! Each bite was a perfect mix of spices and textures. fresh and delicious. Chicken Tikka Biryani stole the show. Aromatic rice with tender, marinated chicken bursting with flavor. Every bite was pure bliss, making it one of the best biryanis I've ever had. Cheese Naan was a cheesy, fluffy delight. Mystica Restaurant blew me away with their top-notch food. If you’re in Addlestone and craving amazing Indian cuisine, this is the place to go. Can’t wait to order again!

Really enjoyed the good food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Great meal with a work colleague and we ended up sitting for almost 3 hours... set meal good value at £47 for 2 I've returned multiple times since and they just keep repeating the gentle excellence... recommended

One of our favourite restaurants in Addelstone. We come regularly and always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and fantastic Indian dishes. The service is very good and the staff so welcoming and professional.

After a long day of travelling me and my partner decided to go get a Monday night curry and we could not of gone somewhere better! The staff at Mystica were lovely along with their food! I would highly recommend to visit here….. you will definitely be seeing me again.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here last night. Service was excellent and very friendly which was highly appreciated. The food was great and we loved the fact that some of the curry’s are a little different to ones you’d usually find on typical Indian restaurant menus. However, all of your usual favourites are available if that’s your preference. Also, the coconut chutney that accompanied the poppadoms (along with all the other usual chutneys) was amazing. Parking is available on the road or on one of the side streets so wasn’t a problem for us. All in all a lovely meal, fair prices and great service from all of the team. We would definitely come back again. Thank you Team Mystica!

The lamb biryani was not hot and wasn't very flavoursome. usally when I have ordered biryanis from here before they have tasted a lot fresher. The rice was very mushy and almost like it had been reheated not the usual nice tasty dish at all. I ordered well in advance for a later delivery time but it was still late.

Another excellent meal tonight. Staff as attentive, polite and friendly as always. Food was delicious.

Visited over the weekend and I was greeted by amazing staff and the atmosphere was great! Loved the railway lamb tava and the pilao rice. Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely Disgraceful. Totally over priced for the quantity . I ordered a chilly mushroom … super basic : I think they just put the name chilly mushrooms . It was not actually what it suppose to be . Kindly keep away from the restaurant. We ordered a mix grill . Absolutely horrible taste . I don’t even feed my dog this kind of food . We walk out out without going for main . We ordered starter Very disappointed

Price and quantity doesn't go hand in hand. Platter quantity is a joke. Over priced and quantity what you get is very little. Overall disappointing.

Only thing preventing the full 5 stars was the borderline icy temperature in the toilet facilities, combined with the frigid water from the 'hot' tap. Food was fab, service was top notch.

My first visit. Lovely ambience and friendly attentive service. I’d say a more high quality restaurant such as smart white linen table cloths and decent wine. Lamb madras was flavoursome and tender, good rice and garlic nan. The chicken tikka masala was more on the coconut side and for me needed more spices but would definitely visit again and very good service.

Arrived 9:40pm Ordered from menu which is a little limited for choice. The food was not great but not bad either. It was nice but nothing special. No complaints but I've had better. The courses came out quickly and it all felt rushed. By 10:30pm things got really speedy and we felt a little uncomfortable. Finished eating, paid and walking back to the car by 10:50pm.

The best Indian food I've ever had. I don't like spicy foods and am a very fussy eater. I order the same 3 items every time I get a takeaway and I am ALWAYS greated with a smile and very friendly staff. I am honoured to recieve a collection discount everytime I order and the 3 items I order are lovely. And for anyone wondering, I order Sag Aloo, Aloo Gabi, Mushroom Rice and they aren't spicy like another Indian in Addlestone that is very hot for those dishes. I'm tempted to start trying other foods from here and be "a little adventurous" because I feel confident with their food, obviously under their advice when I tell them what sort of things I like and dislike. Highly recommend
