Fri night takeaway, 1h wait for food but delivered within the time given on the app. Bread was cold but other than that really tasty

We are a regular to the bengal restaurant and it was the first place we found when moving to chertsey and we love it. Never disappoints. I've done food reviews for many restaurants and travelled India, so this always lives up to a very high standard of authentic Indian cuisine and hygiene. The waiters are always polite and service is great. I can't recommend this enough. Having read the recent negative review I'm not sure we went to the same restaurant.

Food was late which is annoying but the food itself was actually unbearably spicy. I get the same dish every time eat here and today is the first time I haven’t been able to eat my dinner, just able to eat a quarter and had to bin the rest. Sad times as I was really looking forward to this.

Food was cold, even though it is less than a 5 minute drive. Chicken tikka starter was dry and the texture of the potato was also dry. Not up to the usual standard sadly

Unfortunately Bengal let us down last night. We order twice a month. Food was late altho app said delivered. I rang them and the food arrived 5 minutes later but it was cold. Food is usually hot on delivery. I wouldn't have tipped the driver if I'd known it was cold! Not good this time. 😕

Driver seemed to have issues finding mobile phone number which is normally on print out.

We order from BD twice a month. Food is delicious, arrives hot and usually on time or very close. Dansak is perfect for us, quite hot. Highly recommended 👌

Decided to have an Indian meal with the family for my birthday at the Bengal Dynasty and we have always had good food and service. This visit was no exception , at least until we got the bill where we were ripped off in all areas and the prices bore no resemblance to the menu. Poppadoms: 95p , Pickle tray £3.25 on menu. Cost for 12 poppadoms and pickle £21.90 on bill. Water £4.95 on menu £5.95 on bill. House wine £23.95 on menu £29.95 on the bill. They didn't have house wine , this was for ALDI Chardonnay which costs under £4 in the shop 50 yards away. The excuse for these prices was they hadn't printed new menus and to check online. Didn't get round to checking the price of the main meals. If you decide to go here check what you're going to pay before you start.

Food was great but delivery terrible. Ordered at 6:15pm, suggested 35-50mins, that changed to ~1 hour 15min after the order was placed, eventually arrived at 8:15pm, not at 7:50pm as suggested on the web page. Real shame it took so long.

Very disappointed have been here many times before , but no more . Waited too long for food all served at different times prices were different to.menu. wine was cheap rubbish but extoshanate price was charged. Will not be taking my party there again .

Staying at Camping and Caravanning site decided to order via JustEat. Process was easy, paid in full, set delivery time and then watched the Rugby! Delivery time came, waited at reception ( getting colder and colder), after 20 mins beyond delivery time I phoned restaurant - was told 5 mins - food came 15 mins later. However, the wait and frustration was worth it. Food was very good, plenty of it, still very warm and driver apologised for the wait. Moral - when it’s cold wrap up warm if waiting outside, expect a delay but enjoy the outcome.

I can honestly say one of the best Indians I've had really good flavours and really good value. From a chef of 33 years I can highly recommend

Always a 10/10 experience from here! So much variety in the dishes and constantly delivering on quality and fantastic portion sizes. Can’t recommend them enough! If you haven’t had a curry from here I highly recommend it. Great to eat in and great as a takeaway. You won’t be disappointed!

Food was delicious!! I had garlic chicken and my boyfriend had honey glazed King Prawn chef's special and both of us were close to licking the plates clean. Once we had ordered food there was a little wait despite there not being many other diners. We both agreed this was a good sign as it means everything is being cooked fresh rather than microwaved liked other places we have been. Very polite staff with big portions and full tummies. Would definitely visit again

Was staying at nearby resort ,decided to try this place , firstly they only allowed cash so after a walk to a cash machine finally sat down to a lovely decorative restaurant, we were greeted by our waiter with our menus in hand to be told the prices of our food would be a pound or so more for each item on the menu for some reason he muttered under his breath that was inaudible to us . However we were too tired and hungry to leave at that point. We ordered soft drinks that he forgot to bring for about 20 minutes until we reminded him. We ordered 3 mains of dansak ,massala and korma which were all nice enough when they finally arrived but the nans were burnt and that spoilt it . So it's not quite fine dining as described and a can of coke placed on the table with a glass is what you get at a cafe or burger van 😆. So 70 pounds lighter in my wallet won't be going back there and more importantly will not recommend to anyone else . The waiter was polite but unfortunately like basil faulty at running tables , sorry but that's our opinion, ps wish I'd read the reviews available before hand.

Good delivery service, apologised for being slightly late, they are reliable. The food was great. They went through a bit of a dip a few months ago where the takeaway wasn't up to usual standard. Happily they are back on top form and the food has been spot on recently. We have takeaway delivered every 4 weeks from Bengal Dynasty. Highly recommended 👌

Not at their best today unfortunately… nice enough but I have gotten used to getting great food from them delivered on time or early. Today it was late, only warm and the curry was light on the sauce. Hopefully back to their best next week 🤞

I went here with some friends on a Tuesday evening. The layout and decor is your standard indian British vibe. A little bit gaudy and generic but welcoming nevertheless. Service was prompt and polite and our host made some good recommendations. We ordered the chicken bhuna, lamb vindaloo and vegetable curry and onion bhajas as a side. Served with pilua rice and peshwari nan. The lamb vindaloo was perfectly hot for those who love heat but yet still full of rich spiced tomatoy and garlic flavours. They weren't stingy on the meat to sauce ratio also as many Indian restaurants are which was very pleasing. The chicken bhunas were were flavoured and not too oiley, just rich and flavourful. The peshwari nans were hot and fresh and sweet yet savoury. I'd really recommend getting some of these to scoop up the delicious curry sauce. Overall, I would say bengal dynasty has great Indian food and I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great Indian food for a local restaurant for a fair price. A good place to meet for a meal with friends or family. The only improvement I would say is that the menu was very bog-standard for an Indian. It could be largely improved by a menu selective and specialised menu with less options but more interesting dishes. I'd also add that a more modern, stylish interior would really make the place feel a bit more inviting for the foodies crowd.

Food arrived late and customer service was awful. No apologies, they didn’t care that we had been waiting for an hour longer than stated. This was all made worse when the vegetarian curry ordered had small pieces of chicken in it. Extremely disappointed. Will not be returning.

Four of us went for a special pre Christmas night with Elvis act singing cost was £50 a head we would not want to repeat the experience we waited ages to order despite asking numerous times and arriving early we eventually got our food at 10pm which was inferior to other Indians we have dined at and poor value for money. There was clearly not enough staff to cope with amount of people dining. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant.

Disgusting service take-out ordered at 8pm (as probably busy) for 9:10pm; asked where order was at 9:30pm told on the way; chased up again at 9:40pm - (arrived 9:45pm) and the person I was talking to put the phone down on me (no bad language, apart for asking for discount). Very, very bad, no disrespectful and disgusting behaviour with a customer; shame as usually nice food (too late to eat on this occasion so unknown what it is like), We will not be using this restaurant again for either in or out!

We love the food from Bengal Dynasty, but this is becoming a regular thing now for takeaway delivery or collection, victim of their own success. We ordered at 18:20, the app says 35-55mins but when the order is placed it then says 1:10 to 1:30. It finally arrived 1:40 mins after our order was placed. I think this maybe the last order we place with Bengal, which is such a shame as we love the quality but it’s now time we look at other restaurants.
