Spent another lovely evening last night on board Vincent's narrow boat. Started with some fried peppers, followed by an amazing African inspired tomato based baked egg dish accompanied with home made garlic bread. Dessert was a delicious chocolate and coconut cheesecake - there was even a second helping of dessert which was fabulous! Vince was an excellent host as usual and his food is amazing, leaving you craving for a return visit. Highly recommended if you are looking for excellent food and your own personal chef for the evening.

Vincent's Diner now has a new location in Shepperton, but the experience is still as amazing as ever. Vincent is a fantastic host and an even better chef! It's always difficult to pick out the best course - this time it was the dessert! You can even have second helpings which is unusual. Highly recommended if you are looking for an excellent meal, wonderful attentive service and entertainment from the flamboyant Vincent! Book you table now!

We took Mum for a surprise dinner and chose ‘menu 7’ ( 3 course Indian menu). Delicious dhal with bread, followed by Goan fish curry, then pandan and coconut pannacota. All courses delicious. Great that is was BYO drinks. What a setting on Vincents narrowboat, he was very welcoming and friendly.. He chose some nice background music ( you can choose but we just really wanted to chill out)You pay what you think the experience is worth. We will definitely go back to try one of the other menus ( 8 choices).

I dined aboard Vincent's narrow boat last night and it was an amazing experience. Vincent is clearly a fabulous chef - I chose Menu 1 with Spicy Prawn Cocktail, Normandy Chicken and Burnt Lemon Cream - each course was great and seemed to get better as each course arrived! The dessert was definitely a highlight for me. In my experience, it is unusual to find all 3 courses as good as each other! The venue is unique - a private table on the river, with fabulous views. I was entertained by a family of fluffy chicks between courses! Vince is an amazing host - he is an integral part of the experience. Your own personal chef for the evening, widely travelled (bringing those influences to his food) with a wide selection of very entertaining stories. I don't believe you will find this kind of experience anywhere else. Very much looking forward to returning in the near future! Highly recommended.

We were introduced by friends who just raved about this, and my word rightly so!Basically this is the most intermate (up to 4) and different dining experience totally enhanced by Vincent himself.Story goes that whenever he entertained he was forever being told to open up a restaurant. So why would you do that when you have a perfectly good long boat moored in a delightful part of the Thames? On booking Vincent sends you a selection of set menus, choose one (tricky) and bring your own booze. We went for the chicken dish as a main which was fab.Throughout the evening Vincent is fabulous company and an awesome host while he cooks and serves then at the end you simply pay him what you think it was worth. I really couldn’t recommend this enough either for yourself or as a great gift. We will be back for sure!

If you want a quirky night/day out, this is the place for you.....The welcome by Vincent was, just lovely, Sinqurerim, (the venue) is just gorgeous ......you have to see to appreciate....And to the food, David Vincent and I, chatted, whilst soft music played in the background, (you can play your own, he has a Bluetooth speaker) whilst Vincent prepared our amazing starter.... it was the belly pork main, but the salad starter was fantastic, as to the belly pork, well, soft/ crunchy, saucy..... and seconds if you wanted, fantastic....and the soft coconut dessert was just what we needed.... great palette cleanser.... no rush.... and bring your own booze, wow.Would I return..????Booked for four of us Saturday 14 April....Don’t think about it, book Vincent’s boat diner !!!!!!

I found Vincent's via a friends recommendation and i must say well worth it. Great food. Had the Thai Chicken Curry, i even had seconds!. Vince is good company the evening just flows. We had a lovely experience when an unannounced guest turned up, a sleeping swan, never seen that before. Try his home made chilli jam, oh my...Took our own bottle of wine as i was advised, It's BYO affair which i think is great. Would i go again? Yes. Would i recommend this place? Couldn't find a reason not to. The Twist is you pay what you think this experience is worth, Brilliant. Thanks Vince for a great evening see you again, soon.

Excellent! ... Found Vincent's Diner while searching for a local restaurant with a twist. Something different from the regular which can be a bit uninspiring at times. Vincent's Diner jumped out at us and all 3 throughly enjoyed our evening. Having read the previous reviews, we too chose the Thai inspired menu and it was amazing. Quite unlike your typical Thai menu, Vincent certainly seems to have gained the knowledge from 1st hand experience and has certainly put it to good use. Lovely clean narrowboat, chilled atmosphere, beautiful views down the river and great company. Can highly recommend, we will definitely be returning during the summer months for a afternoon cruise and an alternative menu.

My Partner and I went for dinner at Vincent's diner on a recommendation. It is lovely with views down the Thames overlooking Laleham reach, some Swans even turned up for a feed, although I don't think Vincent charges them. The narrow boat is clean and pretty and Vincent's company was excellent. Chatting away while he takes care of you.We had the Thai style menu and it was very very good, authentic and beautifully presented, we bought our own wine (on Vincent's recommendation). It is very different to a restaurant vibe, cosier and personal, We'll be coming back.

Good food and service. The menu is chosen before you visit from the website and you call to advise which one. We chose menu no.3 which was "Northern Thailand inspired food. The food was quite unlike any traditional Thailand food which means that Vincent has researched himself personally from Northern Thailand and brought back here. Having a dinner cooked and served on his narrowboat was a unique experience, my partner and I brought our own booze, as the diner is a BYO. What was very interesting, is that there is no fixed price for the dinner, experience and service, you pay what you think it's worth. All round a lovely experience

Delicious food ! Decided to give them a try on a Saturday evening. Ordered the chicken vindaloo , special rice , papadoms, chutney , pickles and mint . Everything was so good . Just have in mind the vindaloo is very spicy 🌶️. Very nice staff and quick service, totally recommend!
