I’ve just returned from dinner at the Three Rooms. I can’t actually remember when I’ve had a worse Indian meal. Firstly, I should say that the food - all courses only warranted one star for me. I’ve scored two stars because the toilets were nice and clean and the staff took our criticisms well. The popadoms were fine. Two of us then moved on to onion bahji starters. They were awful with no flavour whatsoever. We complained and were brought two prawn purée instead. They consisted of some frozen shrimps or very small prawns in a lot of gelatinous, slightly sweet sauce with no apparent flavour except tomatoes. It was accompanied by a dreadful greasy, soggy puri bread. We couldn’t eat that either, so we gave up on starters and tried the mains. I’d kept it simple and ordered a chicken madras and rice. The rice was okay but the madras was dreadful again. It was half a dozen lumps of over processed chicken that didn’t cut like chicken at all. That was accompanied by a lot of runny, red sauce that tasted vaguely of tomato and had some chilli heat. It was not chicken cooked in madras spices. It had no depth of flavour at all. It was frozen or precooked chicken added to a prepared sauce and it was far too wet. I ate it because by that time I was frankly starving. Having looked at us thoroughly depressed and dissatisfied for an hour or so the owner came over and said we would not be charged for the four starters we’d not eaten. I guess that was something and I felt a little sorry for him because the place seems to have good reviews and it was quite full for a Thursday night. We all eat out a fair bit and we meet up to enjoy a good curry together every few weeks. But I don’t believe you can get a decent meal at this restaurant. I can only think that there is not much competition in Ottershaw. You can see from my reviews, I’m not difficult to please - but this was dire.

Always a lovely experience at 3 Rooms, Chicken Manchurian is now my new favourite with the Tikka my wife's favourite always lovely.

Just picked up one dish from this curry house after it was recommended to us. Ordered the food at 17.08 and asked if 17.30 was okay to collect, which I was told yes! I arrived at 17.30 and my mother in law went in while I stayed in the car with my baby daughter. They said it would be 1 minute! My mother-in-law patiently waited after being told 1 minute a couple of more times. Only to find out when I went into the restaurant they had only started making the dish when we had got there and taken payment. After wasting 20 plus minutes of our time and me mentioning a refund a gentleman come from the back and said here is three extra popadoms on the house. I walked out and I was not happy, then to get back to our airbnb to find 4 little bits of chicken swimming in sauce. Absolutely horrendous service! Appalling portion of chicken with a lot of lies rather than being honest! Better off going to the Chinese next door!

The starters were a bit cold but the mains were hot, portion size was great and everything was really tasty.

Food was not worth the wait, arrived lukewarm. Onion salad had carrots in it??

Last night i given tekway where was two Gongura Lamb Curry and Sag aloo,sag paneer,all food was testy & flover specially Gongura Lamb Was outstanding.i'm satisfied the food.

Yesterday,I came this restaurant phenomenal dining experience from start to finish.Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.I loved every dishes like King prawn Jalfrazi,Mono valley chilli masala & Razwad mass lamb was so delicious i never eat this type of food ever really i'm so happy about that.This is definitely a restaurant we'll be returning to again and again.

Morning, I felt I needed to give you feedback on a takeaway we had last night. The service was good, the driver arrived at my son's shortly after the time we specified. The curry's were good, the poppadoms were excellent. The onion bhajis lacked flavour, my daughter- in - law was disappointed with the paratha and that is one of the main reasons we came to you as she loves them! The bill came to £85 if we had gone to a nearby resturant with similar dishes it would have come to £60. A big difference. Such a shame as you are very local to us and would have liked to use you as our go to takeaway.

Great food, really good service and as for the decor modern but very cosy! Can’t wait to to visit again Will recommend king prawn bhuna!!

An incredible Host backed up with an amazing team of attentive servers making the atmosphere and theatre of table service the best. Supported of course by the back of house team whose chef recently won a Surrey best chef award for 2024. Truly worth a visit… if anything definitely for the service

New Year’s Eve. So booked for 18:30 as we thought it would be very busy later on. BUT to wait an hour and a half and then have to ask the waiter if we can order food is poor, meanwhile all the takeaway orders are being processed. Then the food eventually arrived, was cold and bland to say the least. Shame as we had a really nice meal there previously, perhaps they should focus on sit down customers a bit more. Didn’t bother with dessert as we just wanted to leave. (after 3 hours that is) To add insult to injury, a £40+ service charge was added to an already over inflated set menu price….. not good enough. Will not be re-visiting or recommending to anyone.

Went on NYE 2024. Firstly it was a set menu, no mention of this at time of booking - £35 a head and options were poor, for example choice of 2 sides both were potato based… the complimentary fizz we got was a blue drink with no taste or for my son a beige sweet drink. Took ages to get our food - 1hr 30 mins between starter and main and when it did come it was very average. I get its a busy night but surely that’s why you offer a limited set menu to speed up service. And no it wasn’t just us complaining, we could easily hear other tables saying the same. Can safely say we won’t be returning.

Excellent food and Excellent service, one of my favorite curry houses. I can really recommend the Chicken Tika and Spicy Lamb Chops. I will certainly be going back very soon.

Our first visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. After being seated initially, we were unexpectedly moved to a completely empty section of the restaurant, which felt odd and uninviting. The food lacked flavor and fell far short of the authentic Indian dishes we’ve enjoyed elsewhere in the UK. Although the staff was courteous, the service was unacceptably slow. Sadly, this experience has ensured we won’t be returning.

Our order was delivered to another customer who phoned me to complain!!! When our food finally arrived it was cold and not even an apology from the driver. All he said was it hasn’t been opened. We were so disgusted it went straight in the bin. Where is the quality control? What’s the point of having a code receipt system if it’s not used.

Fabulous food & great service. Would definitely eat here again.

I have done my fair share of globe trotting and had many curries (being one of our favourite cuisines). 3Rooms served us excellent , tasty , unique curry dishes accompanied with outstanding service! 3Rooms hosted 41 WI ladies for a charity evening in aid of LinkAble. The food was superb and the service friendly and efficient and amazing considering how full the restaurant was. food arrived cold as restaurant was busy. driver couldn't find my address and then started shouting at me on the phone that I wasn't giving clear directions when actually he wasn't listening. I requested a refund from the restaurant and was told no. it is a shame as normally the restaurant is good.

CHECK THE LOW ONE STAR REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GO. HOW DO THEY GET ANY GOOD REVIEWS??? UP DATED in MAY 2023. Let's start in JULY 2022. Finally made a revisit to this restaurant with the intention of making a reappraisal of my previous visit that was only worthy of a 1 star rating in 2020. Our first problem was the Very limited and poorly detailed Menu.When we asked the waiter he could not clarify the spices contained in the dishes we were going to order. However we both had different meals off the Menu and to our pleasant surprise they were reasonably enjoyable. As for the Menu prices it must rate as one of the most expensive Indian Cuisine Restaurants for miles around. As you know the rest that follows will be equally steep in price like the small bowl of rice. For its price it should have been topped with shavings of pure Gold Leaf. The service was polite and reasonably professional. There was nothing to tempt us on the deserts apart from overpriced mass produced frozen pieces of low quality ice cream in plastic containers. So sorry to say we can only give one star to our honest review. I think it will be a long time till we decide to return to 3 Rooms . The décor is fine they just have to give some valid information on the Menu .and offer maybe some fresh fruit in high summer instead of buying from the local cash and carry to top up their freezer. Melons Mangos and Strawberries are plentiful and cheap this time of year. I'm sure a member of the kitchen staff could cut a Melon in half and present it on a plate. Just a thought.. ............................... THEN A REGRETTABLE REVISIT IN MAY 2023 But not of our choosing. Well this time the food was so bad that three members of our party had to send their food back as the sauce on their main course appeared to consist of 75% sugar so sweet it made you want to throw up. My main was O.K. but was as tasty as a Supermarket can of Chicken Curry and not to be recommended. The owner got involved and told us his brother cooked the dishes in question So what they are NOT edible. They were offered another dish . The sauces on two different dishes were the same I'm positive except for the added food colouring.. One was a yellow colour and the other was what I would call POST OFFICE RED but so sweet and sickly it was offensive. So 3 Rooms I eat Curry in many parts of the world but never like the dishes you serve in your establishment. Laugh at my comments if you wish but time will tell. I look forward to your comment.

First Visit,Very Impressed Good Food,Good Service, Very Clean Environment..Will Definitely Go Again.

New to the area so have tried a few restaurants and this one by far is the best and is our new favourite Indian restaurant.

Food lovely and delivery early and very nice driver.

Had a lovely meal here with my partner, can't fault these guys at all. Food was tasty and meat good quality we both had lamb. All the waiting staff were very friendly and welcoming would definitely eat here again.

I am a keen India food eater, not hot(spicy food). We started with vegetable samosas, followed by a number of popadoms with the typical selection of Mango chutney, yoghurt and mint sauce/ chopped onions and others We then shared a chicken Kurma accompanied with a dish of cauliflower bhaji and one of the best rice dish I have ever eaten in an Indian restaurant in the UK. Allow me to explain, the rice is cooked with shopped coriander and roasted garlic flakes crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle without losing the garlic strength, absolutely divine if you like coriander and garlic as much as we do. Entering the restaurant you are greeted with welcoming smiles from a team of very keen waiters ready to serve you. A menu together with the wine list gives you a very large selection of food and drinks. The service is very efficient, your food comes piping hot, served in hot plates. I usually find little things to comment or criticise in a restaurant. Well today I could not find anything wrong from start to finish. Congratulations to the team of the 3 rooms restaurant and thank you all for such pleasant evening.

We had the most amazing meal tonight. We booked online and did not realise that there was a tribute band on, we had come for a family catch up before my son goes travelling. We were planning to leave and find somewhere else, however, they quickly took us to a quiet area of the restaurant away from the event. The food was amazing, high quality with great flavours. The service amazing, not rushed like you often get, allowing us to take our time and enjoy our meal. This is so unusual now unfortunately and really makes this place stand out. On leaving we could see how much fun everyone was having with the tribute band and on a different type of night out it would have been great fun. Will definitely be back.

This is simply the best Indian restaurant in the area! The staff are so friendly and the restaurant always buzzing on a weekend. The food is incredible, especially the signature dishes. We always previously ordered standard takeaway dishes but now we love exploring different things on the menu as we know they’ll always be interesting and tasty. Highly reccomend the Lamb dishes, incredibly tender! Thanks for some amazing meals and we can’t wait to return. Samantha

Below avg food which tastes bland at best (we ordered the mix bbq platter and that helped us decide to take our appetite elsewhere) , avg service with wait staff having zero idea of the dishes and a very mediocre atmosphere.

No issue with the service but me and my wife felt that the food lacked a bit of flavour. Portion size was great but there was a substantial amount of red food colouring on the lamb chops and the chick pathia. We will go back for sure but maybe next time we will ask for more chilli.

Best Indian Restaurant in Addlestone area

First visit a few days ago. Friendly welcome, plenty of seating and the food was, in general, was good. Biggest disappointment was that they serve precooked tandoori chicken in the curry instead of chicken breast which meant the chicken was both hard and dry - not good. Get that right and I would certainly go back and recommend them to others.

First time at this restaurant, visit came after high praise. The food was very good, portions are large compared to most restaurants, luckily we didn't have a starter otherwise would have certainly struggled.

Shame they don't open the blinds, off putting when you arrive

Ignored time slot request so food was cold. They offer 40% discount yet the food portions are 50% to 60% smaller which must be against trading laws. One salad when 3+ dishes normal have. Food quality average. When i complained mgr blamed JustEat!

5 *s from us! We came to Thorpe park for the day and fancied Indian and saw the great reviews so decided to book here and we weren’t disappointed! Excellent service, amazing tasty food and clean facilities (toilets very modern and clean). Overall a lovely experience. We were even offered free drinks after we paid our bill. Best curry I've had in years. Good value, delicious food, great service. The hot curry was actually hot (which many aren't these days). They forgot a Naan and sent another one out and the delivery driver was extremely polite and apologetic. 10/10

Yesterday we ordered the food from 3 Rooms Indian restaurant and unfortunately we missed their delivery (which was our fault), but the Owner was so generous that he came all over our place to deliver the food himself in 5 minutes even though he informed us that it would arrive around half an hour late. Thank you so much.

Really sharp bone left in chicken!!!! Not good enough

We, usually, order takeaways from the restaurant but decided to try eating in house. Unfortunately, whilst the overall review was fairly positive, we were disappointed. The service was slow (still trying to figure out how a family of 4 can arrive after us and get their food before us despite us having a pretty basic and small order) and incorrect (ordered one dish got something different) plus not up to the quality or quantity of the delivery orders (I.e., 3 samosas in takeaway, 2 in restaurant...why the difference?). I single out the malai tikka which was horrible. The chicken was tasteless and it looked like they had just dropped shredded cheese from coop on it (greasy and not even melted). Also, the usually tender lamb was harder then when ordered as a delivery. Needless to say, will be sticking to delivery unless the quality also goes down.
