The best restaurants serving Indian food in Reading South East

Lovely fresh food at good prices. Highly recommend. Came one day randomly and have been coming ever since. Today I brought a friend who had the lamb curry and was hugely impressed. I get the vegetarian mix and have enjoyed them all especially the aubergine and spinach.

Best wraps ever. Absolutely delicious. Two more regular clients added on the list. Excellent price, quick and excellent customer service.

I was so glad I found this small and fairly tucked away coffee shop. I had a delicious sandwich which was freshly prepared, and an excellent filter coffee - both of which were great value as part of a lunchtime deal. There are a couple of stools so you can eat in, and my server was very friendly and welcoming. This will definitely become a regular haunt!

Absolutely fantastic food, best curry I've ever had. Was just a little bit noisy could have done with the music turned down a bit.

Para aquellos que no lo eran, estaba feliz de ofrecer su regular probado y probado cuando dijeron que no estaba en el menú (que se ofreció en lugar de preguntar). Normalmente no soy de los que sienten que el servicio es un gran problema (en realidad no estoy interesado en ser servido en absoluto), pero me di cuenta de que esto se sentía como un servicio realmente bueno, así que quería decirlo. Sin duda recomendaría.

We usually go to a different Indian restaurant - and decided to try this one as we live close. The food is honestly exceptional! We ordered 4 mains, 3 sides and naan bread. My dad is so fussy (hence going to the same place for almost 20 years!) but he loved it as well! I would've taken a picture but we tucked in very quickly! Excellent service. Food was 10/10. Staff are lovely. Overall 5/5 :) we will definatly be eating here again!

I went here for take out food and the staff was super friendly, I asked for their recommendations and they recommended their favorites even warning me it was spicy which I love. One of the best house side salads I've had with lots of fresh veggies and variety. overall great value and great food from this place.

I’ve not been for a few years now and still this restaurant didn’t disappoint me. Wonderful staff to welcome you and serve you. The food was freshly cooked and so tasty. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend trying this lovely place!!

If there’s a better Indian takeaway than Village Tandoori, Emmer Green I’ll be massively surprised. Their food is always fabulous. Always (and we’ve had it probably fifty times ).

We moved to the area two years ago and have been to this place almost 50 times since! the food is exceptional, the service is outstanding, and the prices are extremely affordable. The Wednesday £14.95 is an absolute must, we usually get: 4 Poppadoms and chutney tray Chicken Pakora & Meat Samosas Keema Rice & Pilau Rice Lamb Tikka Bhuna/Madras & Chicken Pasanda Cheese Naan & Garlic Naan Matar Paneer & Saag Paneer and drinks, all for less than £40 total! A great spot to take friends and family that are visiting, I would advise not to be dissuaded by the area, as this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and we will be returning for years to come.
