The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wigan North West

Our 1st visit to Suhana was a very unpleasant experience. We felt like we were treated differently to everyone else in the room. We felt like we were discrimated against. For example food was served in a trolley for others. But they carried earthing in the hand to serve us. And when we entered we have been asked to be seated in the middle table and after we settled, another person( looks like the manager) offered a different table at the back of the restaurant. He said "it will be quieter at the back" but we felt very uncomfortable with this statement. The taste of the food taste was not great. I would not recommend or go this restaurant again.

Last night, prior to going to the rugby, I went to this restaurant. I ordered Tandoori chicken, which was fantastic, beautifully cooked, and really tasty. It came with a choice of a curry sauce, which I chose Madras, again this was spiced to perfection. The service was very friendly and I can highly recommend this establishment.

Family get together , great food and service from staff could not ask for a better experience will definately be going back in the near future thank you 👍🙏

Ordered a takeaway 28/03 to find an item missing, rang the restaurant to let them know and was then told the chef said the item was packed in the bag to which I was then questioned, 20+ years of going and no apology no nothing.

We have eaten in the Basmati a few times but it was cold and snowy and we didn't feel like venturing out so ordered a takeaway on line for delivery. Extremely easy to place the order and pay and you can set up an account, so will be even more straightforward next time. Website tells you approximately how long delivery will be but it arrived 15 mins early. Portions are good size and the quality of the food was excellent. Big chunks of chicken and meat in the dishes. Everything was really tasty. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Great experience from start to finish. Starter and main both delicious and lamb was so tender it melted in your mouth. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve visited and very reasonably priced. Service absolutely fantastic!

Always get a good curry from here. Tasty and fresh. For a small place it gives a very nice meal. Chicken tikka khali is favourite.

Nice Indian food at reasonable prices. We had a lamb benghal and lamb madras. Only gripe was that the lamb was not properly trimmed, hence some fatty pieces.

Met up with family for a Birthday and an anniversary meal, the food was outstanding along with the service. We shall visit again.

Wonderful food and service, just a shame that some guests have to shout all the time instead of having a reasonable volume to their conversation. It was from a group well known to the staff, so I reckon regulars. I'd love to visit again hopefully when it's quieter.

Had the vegetarian set menu for 2. Was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed every mouthful. Will def order from here again

First order - great food and good service. Delivery on time

There were 11 of us together for my birthday celebration. The staff were excellent in every respect. The food was amazing quality and the portions were a good size . Drinks are reasonably priced and a good selection. I would not hesitate to recommend this venue and I will be returning soon .

Always a great takeaway from here. The staff is always pleasant and the food is great. Good value for money.
