Asha Indian Take Away in Wigan

Ordered just before 10pm on a Sunday, site says 11pm closing time and opted for cash on delivery, Restaurant accepted the order via email. Sat and waited for food until just after 11, rang the restaurant and the phones rang out. Went to divert and they rang out. Don't take an order if your not gonna fulfill it, if you have doubts by all means ring and make contact but to not send food after accepting and then not make contact is very poor

Cooked fantastic. The chicken was juicy, cooked and soft . Had food from here twice and both times it has been exceptional and lovely delivery guy.

Delicious food and was hot on delivery

Golden question? Would I order again! Yes . Nothing really special. Give it 7/10 , Madras sauce not bland , just not too my liking, had a sweetness to it.c tikka starter great(mint sauce like water) meat content in main and starter, plenty and tender. Nann bread and rice yeh good ,again ,nothing special. Wasn't cold actually fresh, 1hr and 20 mins cor delivery, told me an hour, so acceptable. Hope that helps you decide 🤔👍

Pilau rice was a solid block and barely warm, looks like it had been frozen and then warmed up. No taste whatsoever

Ordered from Asha for the first time last night and will definitely order again. Food was fresh, tasty and piping hot, loved the little salad containers, so much nicer than the little plastic bags that most takeaways use. Arrived smack on time with a smile.

Absolutely awful, 1 hour 15 instead of 45 minutes, not bothered about that but when the food comes and most of it is cold then there's a problem. Chicken tikka starter cold/bland, onion bhaji solid/cold, lamb chops starter cold/look disgusting and taste awful, main course just about acceptable, pilau rice solid block/just warm, chips awful/cold, Aldi's rola cola not acceptable, probably explains why he was late.

Use asha a lot food is always good recomend the rashmi kebab starter 😋 service is very good and the staff polite and friendly

Food arrived hot, and plenty of it ... and not just sauce! Great sized portions clearly marked and safely packaged with no spills. Delivered earlier than proposed and driver polite. Our second time using Asha, which is quickly becoming our favourite/go to. Definitely recommended.

This used to be our go to for Indian food takeaway but dieting, work, and a few other bits got in the way of scheduled life. Decided over the weekend to order as a treat and was not disappointed! Food was tasty and looked great and some good veggie options. Will return

Food a little late, and all cold when delivered. Tandoori mixed grill and bhajis very good. Rice, curry, naan all a bit disappointing and lacking flavour.

I think this place has had a bit of stick due to getting a bad food hygiene but it's clear they have made a lot of changes, the food was lovely and steaming hot, the only thing for me was the pilau slightly stodgy and the onion chutney wasn't sweet enough as I like but will definitely go back 😁

Previous purchases from here have been great but last nights food was not worth the money. Chicken tilka had diced chicken in that was less than 1 chicken breast and no heat whatsoever. Bland and overpriced. Will not be using again

Official zero stars for food hygiene rating, can't believe I went there, only because I was at a friends house who lives nearby, I've had better from the freezer section, terrible rice, left most of it.

Food was very bland, states medium to hot spice, was not spicy at all and there were about 4 pieces of chicken. Will not be returning anytime soon.

1st time ordering and sadly will be the last. Although the currys we had were nice. The pappadums and mango n onions were stale and not fresh, and mixed starter weren't great. Supposed to have been a set meal for 2 but only 1 onion bhaji, samosa and seekh kebab.. Onion bhaji wasn't fresh either.
