The best restaurants in Wigan North West

Can not stress how much people need to try this place! I've tried a few of thier burgers now each one has been flawless im quite happily going to work my way through their menu. Absolute top notch best burger ive ever had!

All I can say is “OMG” ! I’ve been in here with my boyfriend last night and it’s been wonderful…the pizzas and the service it’s amazing!!! Great experience ☺️

We travel from Leigh to pick up our Friday night fish & chips. We have plenty of good chip shops in Leigh but we make the effort to drive that little bit further up the road. Great quality and value. The large portion of fish and chips will feed a family of 4 on its own!! Highly recommended. Ps don’t give up if your in the queue outside, it’s worth the wait.

Lovely local pub - everyone is really friendly. It’s great that dogs are welcome and they do weekly quizzes and monthly bingo. The live music artists have been belters! Good venue for parties and events. Haydock park racecourse is a short 5 min walk away. Coach parties welcome. They have a defib for the community - well done!

Just tried the lunchtime wraps from here for the first time - 1 chicken & 1 meatballs - the food was so delicious & fresh and portion size was very generous. Staff are very friendly and eager to please. Premises are immaculate. For £5 for such excellent quality, I can’t understand why anyone would use a fast food place. Will definitely be back and work through the menu. Thanks.

The Bonfire Gathering on 4th November was another great event at Stirrup Cup organised by Lisa and her family & friends. Staring at 5pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm. Well organised with two bars and food provided by Viet Rice Box, which was absolutely delicious. A great atmosphere with a slow start mainly due to the rain. By 6pm the numbers had significantly grown, and continued growing even after the bonfire was lit. Seeing so many local residents turning out to support Stirrup Cup was lovely to see. Our community needs more events like this so people can meet and get to know each other.

Always helpful staff in here, always great customer service and very clean tables . They make a lovely coffee,100 times better like dirty Costa across the retail park . The vanilla spic chi hot latte is amazing. Very clean coffee machine. I would highly recommend this place . Seating area is nice too . We went to Pizza Pizza for my grand daughters birthday treat. The pizza were the best I have had in a long time the service was good and friendly we had a very pleasant time,

Service, style, great menu and drinks to die for. This was my first trip “out” since quarantining. I was anxious but the host made me feel quite at home. Nothing was too much trouble, and his offer of a blanket toward the end of the night was just the ticket. Just go - you won’t be disappointed.

Little jaks pantry was booked on line for my Sister's funeral and they didn't disappoint everything was setup by them and there was more than enough food for everyone and a Very good variety and very reasonably priced, was enjoyed by all and will definitely be recommended.Thank you so much.Jackie Garner.

Brilliant place to have some home cooked food, take away menu and when lockdown is over you can eat in. Very friendly owners, food outstanding would highly recommend Thank you Tasty Snacks

Fantastic food! Huge range to choose from. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. Gluten free, whole foods! Fresh, colourful and full of flavour. My personal favourite is the salt and pepper chicken. They also so do personalised meal plans. The dessert fridge is to die for! All cakes refined sugar free and delicious!

I live close to Suga Rush and thought I’d try it… service was so good, really friendly and attentive! Ordered a strawberry ice cream, 2 cups of tea and a bueno waffle and it was lovely. I’d definitely recommend.

If you're going to Wigan and fancy a pie then this is the place to go. Cannot beat their meat and potato pies!
