The Bonfire Gathering on 4th November was another great event at Stirrup Cup organised by Lisa and her family & friends. Staring at 5pm, with the bonfire being lit at 6.30pm. Well organised with two bars and food provided by Viet Rice Box, which was absolutely delicious. A great atmosphere with a slow start mainly due to the rain. By 6pm the numbers had significantly grown, and continued growing even after the bonfire was lit. Seeing so many local residents turning out to support Stirrup Cup was lovely to see. Our community needs more events like this so people can meet and get to know each other.

Lisa and her team are always happy to see regular customers. They offer a great range of Panini’s, coffee cakes and cold drinks. A truly wonderful local business. Well worth visiting and supporting. They will be donating to MacMillan for every cake purchased so please make the effort for this worthy cause…

An amazing evening out in a horse field with Stirrup Cup selling drinks and Drop Bag selling Tacos & Fries. When the owner of a business listens to her customers and organises an event like this, it is great to see. Beers, Cocktails, Pima & Wine, as well as the usual hot drinks made for a great evening. The Drop Bag Tacos were absolutely delicious as were the Fries. They were well worth the wait. The staff were kept extremely busy but coped and constantly prepared great food. A log fire, blankets, music and horses frolicking in the adjacent fields made the setting surreal… it was a bit cold later on then the rain came and cut the night short… All in all a great evening which we hope will be repeated.

Having recently moved to the area we have been out exploring over the last couple of months. Walking past the horses, sheep, goats and cows gave us the true feeling of being in the country. We had walked past a mobile cafe a few times thinking it was for the horse owners or golfers. Then in Shevington News FB page we saw Stirrup Cup and decided to treat ourselves to lunch. Just a few minutes walk from where we live, easy access it allowed us to dodge the rain showers. Well worth a visit. Friendly staff, great service, tasty Panini’s, wonderful cakes and great coffee. We will be visiting again & again…

Lovely local pub - everyone is really friendly. It’s great that dogs are welcome and they do weekly quizzes and monthly bingo. The live music artists have been belters! Good venue for parties and even
